Is nudity too far?

| Maybe it's just my european-dutch outlook on things, but i don't find nipples to be that weird to see, especially if it's classified as ecchi. Revealing outfits are a tease, but nipples are the same. I'm used to seeing movies where people are bare-chested. Unpopular opinion: Nudity is entirely undressed, bare-chested is not nudity. |

| Why shouldn't ecchi show nudity. When action goes as far as to ignore basic physics and body limitations, why can't ecchi do the same in its realm. Hell, I am fine with literal sex on the screen (however genitalia then means it is hentai). Anything can go. Just be good. |

| There is no reason an ecchi anime has to be strictly R+, it can be PG-13 perfectly fine (AKA: no exposed nipples). When I watch an ecchi anime I expect to see female characters in undearwear, or at least bikinis, if I don't get that I start to think the tag is unwarranted. Oh, and it has to be prominent, present in almost every episode pretty much, recently I watched Midori no hibi and Akane-iro, and I would not consider either one to be deserving of the tag. |

| I think both are fine. Not every ecchi anime has to appeal to the same group of people, in fact it would be significantly less valuable if it tried to. 70% of people identify as having fetishes of some sort. There should be ecchi anime with nudity as well as ecchi anime without, since there's going to be people who will prefer one over the other. If there's a significant amount of people who prefer the tease of there never being full nudity and that's never offered to them through ecchi anime then it's not doing its job. I think there's only realistically a handful of ecchi TV anime that do have full nudity just because of what they're allowed to broadcast, but for OVAs and ONAs nudity is fine. For me personally I prefer just the revealing outfits. |

| If the point of ecchi is to appeal to horny dudes who aren't willing to take the next step and plunge into more risque content then i suppose it probably doesn't really belong in ecchi. |
