| i always have this issue because i'm very indecisive, my first instinct is to scroll through my ptw and the seasonal anime list, but i usually feel too uncertain to commit to a new show and end up picking a long-running anime that i'm already watching or youtube |

| Always tricky picking what to watch next but I tend to think it's best to go with what you're in the mood for first and foremost. I know some people have like priority lists and know very specifically what's next to be watched but I just can't do it like that. So if I think that I'm in the mood for something super chill and no drama, I'll often either go to the recommended section for stuff like Gochiusa or Yuru Camp or I'll specifically go through the iyashikei or slice of life with the drama tag deselected. Stuff like that, the search engine on MAL is pretty helpful. |

| I usually keep my plan to watch list full but if it ever came to the situation that I don't have anything left I would just ask friends with good taste for some recommendations. I'd also look if there is any OVAs or bonus episodes available for the anime I liked. |

| Watch seasonals, never have that problem. Recommendations are okay if you use MAL system. Relying on friends' recommendations almost never panned out quite well for me because they tend to suggest what they have watched and liked - so basically their overratings - instead of what you might actually enjoy. Plus there's the additional detriment that social pressure compels you to watch something you might otherwise drop. That is not to say they have to conjure your next favourite anime out of thin air, but time is limited and anime burnout is always just one show away, so between two methods of choice might as well go for the better one. |

| I use a random number generator and pick a number between 1 and 27. Then i go to my PTW and whatever i drew, use it to pick another series. If i got a 1, i watch something that starts with A in ptw. 2 =b, 3 =c, etc. and if i got 27, i pick something that starts with a number or a symbol. (IE: .Hack or 91 days) |

Mostly basing on the cover if I'm really feeling aimless and not in the mood. Anything with a mix of comedy usually works easily for me at times like that. |
