| I know it's such a small nitpick but the viz version has Himeno refer to her partners as "buddies" in the VIZ version when I damn well know she's probably saying "aibou" it's such a weird translation. (rant over) DAMN DENJI. WE IN A PICKLE. The relationship between Himeno and Aki seems good, I'd like it to be more explored. |

| Hmm Himeno has had quite a tough time until Aki came and became his buddy. Also now I understand that the Gun Devi was the one to kill Aki's family, the one from the flashback with the kid brother. Also this scared girl is starting to get on my nerves. |

| Surprisingly pro-smoking lol but a good chapter nonetheless. Really like the backstory bits of Himeno and Hayakama, smoking was good method of tying them together, ending with him bumming the cigarette she was smoking, the "indirect kiss" as Denji exclaimed angrily it seems. Guess Kobeni's backstory and reluctance of being a Devil Hunter was sort of shoved out to make this cliffhanger make sense, still an interesting situation regardless. *Edit* Forgot to mention, I absolutely loved Hayakama's revenge method of sneaking gum on the girl who slapped Himeno, and I liked that Himeno just took it as well. Made both of them a lot more likable. |

| Not surprised Kobeni wants to let the devil eat Kenji, she seems really weak willed. The more I think about it, the more I realise these characters are really predictable lmao |
| And Volume 2 ends with this chapter! Kobeni is too scared she completely sided with the devil's contract to eat Denji dead or alive. And we now know how Aki is addicted to Smoking. They left us with a cliffhanger though lol |

| Bruh Himeno just nonchalantly leading Aki to get cancer over time, RIP. If what Himeno said is right about how devils are scared of crazy devil hunters, then Makima's experimental squad is the perfect fear factory for devils. Pretty much all of them are twisted in a way. Even the cutest, most seemingly innocent one, Kobeni is quite insane in her impulsive decision, from wanting to drink from the toilet to agreeing to offer Denji to the devil. Damn. |
