| Arrogance isn't so much a problem, it's when arrogance leads to total disrespect towards others. I have met a lot of arrogant people in real life and sometimes that is just how some people are. Where they draw the line is when they bluntly have a total disregard for anyone else around them and/or a complete lack of respect towards any peers. I feel bad for people like this because they try to be apart of a community by joining conversations that they constantly denigrate, disparage, and sometimes down right act disrespectfully to others when participating without any self awareness of how most view them collectively. Sometimes these people don't even care which makes it even more difficult to interact with. Unless you are at least some what of a pseudo-keyboard jockey, it's hardly worth the time or energy to reply back to an antagonistic post even if it's personally directed towards you specifically. The easiest solution to deal with such behavior is simply just ignoring them. |

At first, I thought my life was over and was a bit depressed, but I pretty much returned to doing my everyday activities after a few weeks, and most of the pain disappeared over the next several months or so. Now I just avoid heavy squats, deadlifts, and similar exercises. I also use a special bed/futon and keep a pillow between my legs when sleeping. There is no pain in the limbs for me, but my leg may go numb every now and then. I guess I was a bit lucky, and being young definitely helps too. I haven't told anyone in real life either, and I refused all treatments and medications since I don't think the doctors have my best interest in mind. They often resort to unnecessary surgeries so they can squeeze some money out of the healthcare system and people's pockets. Of course, I can sympathize with those who have similar problems, but some young people don't have the correct mentality that can help them get better. |
