Wow this went much faster than expected.
Kanroji still hilarious as usual with her face expressions lol. Muzan getting mad and killing Nakime himself.

The fortress is now down.

Your posts made me even more hyped about the upcoming chapter, guys. If Yushiro is to defeat Nakime and crush the Infinite Fortress then wow, it sounds spectacular. I hope Muzan won't use Tamayo to blackmail Yushiro. Yeah, I still believe she is not utterly destroyed and might return if Muzan wants to. Somehow. ;DD

Oh. Interesting. I mean, it was very possible for Nakime to be punished by Muzan for her incompetence, but I liked more that option with Yushiro defeating her somehow (by his demon powers by devouring her or dunno, by using random nichirin blade he found earlier). It could've been less predictable and more epic (demon defeating another demon without Muzan's influence).

Damon, can't wait until I read this chapter and see how the situation in there looks like. From what I read from your small spoilers, it's gonna be definitely quite an intense experience due to how many things happened according to spoilers.

tamayo did have one when she introduced back in the past. but not on detail.

This chapter was insane! Absolutely stunning.
Just loved how Muzan was struggling to attack Yushiro and contain the hashiras at the same time and he just decided to kill Nakime.
Tanjiro throwing that sword was also amazing!

Actually, the first short novel which Koyoharu Gotouge published and won an award in 2013 was a story about Tamayo and Yushiro. They are main characters in that novel. The novel's name is Kagarigari.
I only find the Japanese version if you are interested in reading it (I guess it was not commercially successful so no one translated it). http://www.shonenjump.com/j/manga-shou/treasure/comics/130624/kagarigari.html (The website requires you to use flash player to read).
Muzan appeared in that novel, too. However, he was not as strong as now because he lost to a Western Vampire. After this novel, she had written several ones but they had not been successful until Kimetsu No Yaiba were serialized and on hype.

Mitsuri's still the comedic relief, huh. I need to see her in battle. Her battle in the Sword-something village arc was too short (and some of it happened off-screen). :-(
Giyuu's making me anxious,, his blade's damaged and he's still trying to fight Muzan pls live
Tanjiro doesn't seem to be doing too, now that his eye is damaged and probably exhausted from the fight with Akaza. and muzan hit him with his blow dang leave him alone

I'm confused though. The sword that hit Muzan's head??? Is it Giyuu's? ??

From the translated version I read in my language, Tanjirou picked up a broken sword of a dead demon slayer and threw it to save Mitsuri. In the last few pages, all corpses of fallen demon slayers dropped on the lowest floor with Muzan and our heroes.

I do not know if that volume included this story or not. I discovered it by reading the author's online biography.
I guess it looks like "original idea" rather than "same world". It is common for authors to develop a well-written masterpiece from one of their first works. For example, Tolkien wrote a well-known Lord of the Rings after he published The Hobbit, a book for children; or Where to find fantasy beasts was developed from a small detail in Harry Potter series. In this case, Demon Slayers has better graphic than the story I mentioned so Koyoharu Gotouge improved their skills a lot, especially in describing fight scenes which we saw in recent chapters.
Yes, from the story's brief review and his appearance, the main villain (not Muzan) is a vampire and a stranger. That's why Muzan asked Tamayo to help him defeat that intruder. Despite of her help, he did not win. (I don't know Japanese so I only guess from pictures :v). He got a lot of power boosts in Kimetsu no yaiba, when compared to that story :) There are many similar details between this story and Kimetsu, such as:
1. Muzan, Tamayo, Yushiro dress the same way like when Tanjirou first meets them.
2. Tamayo's blood demon art, Yushiro's hot-headed personality and blood demon art, and his willingness to protect Tamayo at all cost.
3. The swordman who hunts the vampire has a speaking crowd, dresses like First breath users, and owns a sword with carved letters near the handle (like Pillars' swords). Although he has only his left hand, he is powerful so Muzan needs to hide himself, too.
I hope to see more battle scenes after chapter 183. Each chapter is shorter now but the content is intense.

I was so happy to see Inosuke again even if he didn't talk :) as for the chapter, it was pretty good, that last scene brings a lot of suspense for next week's one.

I really really hope this is not the last arc tho...

Quite chaotic chapter. I liked the comedy in scenes with Kanroji and scenes with Yushiro struggling to dominate over Nakime's demon powers.

The fight itself was quite boring. Like, Muzan is morbidly strong, okay, but everything was too chaotic. I know the fortress was crumbling and changing itself in an instant several times, but still it felt rushed and unorganized how this fight was depicted. Battle against Kokushibou was way better and we had several demon slayers on the battleground as well.

I hope it doesn't mean we will have rushed ending or something...

No one is safe against Muzan, this chapter was nice, but I think Muzan will run from the fight 'cause of the sun. Then Tanjirou can learn the 13º sun breath technique.

That is possible, but I wouldn't like that to happen. The concept like that would be too cliché. Right now fight with Muzan is, at least to me, quite disappointing compared to the battle with Upper Moon 1.

Ending this battle as you suggested would be too predictable and could leave a feeling of a rushed, simple and therefore dull ending. I wouldn't want this great series to have such an average finale.

Honestly im not a fan of this fight so far. After the extremely serious and emotional fight with UM1, now we have a comedy in the middle of boss fight (thanks to mutsuri).

Kanroji get a grip of yourself! You're fighting against the most powerful demon of all and there you are...overreacting! It's not really amusing for me because I'm very serious about this battle against Muzan. I hope it won't be as annoying in the anime adaptation. I gotta admit, even Zenitsu has those irritating scenes as well.😫

She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did!

Yes at least the fortress is finally down! Also I just realised that Muzan looks exactly like the alien beings from Parasyte: The Maxim. The MC in Parasyate also use his 'Migi' to attack just like Muzan. I think the Mangake took inspiration from that anime.
