| I don't mind sexual content or said "ecchiness" in an anime if the location is right. Like in a locker room or bathroom or something. I really dislike those, "oh I stumbled and my face went under her skirt and my nose touches her furburger". Like what? That is impossible. Mieruko-chan has the correct kind of sexual content in my opinion and I like that. Though a little too much but sex sells. The manga had that only in the first volume if I remember correctly. <-- buy one, nice scenes <--- buy the second to hope it continues. Some might think that way. |

Sexuality aside there are other things shown that are questionable one thing that anime shares with almost all other media is violence which i think is way worse than sexuality yet i never hear anyone complaining about that. A panty shot might embarrass the person in question but it won't hurt them a punch in the face will hurt someone and if the person loses their balance a falls on their head it might even be deadly. |

| I usually hate fan service which affect or is part of the plot unlike other not the other way around. I dont mind the one which doesnt affect. It always a cringe when any author tries to pandering fanservice disguised as comming of age hiding behind freud's name |

| With the exception of promoting paedophilia and rape, personally I think anything can be shown and tackled. I do think this depends on a show to show basis however. For example if full metal alchemist brotherhood suddenly had a sex scene at the end that would be a case of it handled poorly |
| FREEDOM! Everything should be posible, imagination is the limit. Of course, not everything should be available for kids and some content needs to be toned down, but for adults and even teens it should be fine. I miss some of the old school gory violence for example. But also, there is no need to have sex/violence in everything. And yeah, there is nothing wrong with showing rape and that kinda stuff if you give it the right context. But promoting "evil" never is a good thing and should always be evil, even when it wins (yeah, good guys not always win and that is why tragedy is also a thing). |

| I have no problem with fanservice. In fact, i think anime is pretty light when it comes to sexual stuff. They tease the audience with panty shots and bouncing breasts but very rarely does an anime actually show nudity or an actual sex scene. |

| Define "sexual content" more precisely please. Does that include teenagers with a bigger bra size than your average IRL porn star? Does that include shirts that unnaturally hug the body's contours like shrink wrap? Does that include short school uniform skirts? Considering how it's often depicted in anime, would that also include touching/holding hands? What about that all-so-special 'first kiss'? Does that include girls commenting on another's body proportions? Will that also include guys with any sort of muscle definition going shirtless for any reason? Does that include ALL trips to the beach or hot springs? What about the shows with 90% or more female cast? Some would consider that as a form of sexual content/fan service. There are sooo many things that COULD be considered "sexual content", the problem is, not everyone can agree on which ones are, or should be. Even if you could get an overwhelming majority to agree what is sexual content, you won't get the same unity on deciding which is ok to depict in anime/MSM or not. It all boils down to the phrase: "watch what you like, skip what you don't". If you're trying to find like-minded people, then just say so. It's true... sex sells. Except mine. Hell, I can't even give it away. |
