| Sherlock taught Milverton ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ Moriarty a very valuable lesson this week; that treating people like your personal puppets will inevitably backfire because there's always that one person who'll remind you that you're not in control and you're not superior to those people. I was pretty shocked that Moriarty's identity as the Lord of Crime was revealed to Sherlock so soon though and of course that Sherlock actually killed Milverton... wtf is gonna happen with that now?! He can't really go to prison for murder... right?! |

| At long last Sherlock finally got to know the real identity of Liam. I thought killing someone for your own selfish reason was against Sherlock's principles but damn that was so unexpected that it came as a shock even to William. Well, if Sherlock hadn't done it then that would mean going along with William's plan. It was necessary to backfire William by an unexpected action or else Sherlock would always be a step or two behind the Lord of Crime. Turning in after committing a crime is something Sherlock would definitely do and he might have it hard since Milverton used to work with the government behind the scenes. I wonder how will he get out of prison...I feel like William will somehow make Milverton's misdeeds public which will help Sherlock get out of the prison. Mary fainting after seeing her name in the register made me laugh but seeing Milverton laugh too, my laugh got extended XD That intense part where they were switching from William Sherlock and Millerton in 16:55, what was that, that was so Hindi serial-ish. And that was so extended that I started vibing with it XD |
| Jesus.. Milverton is dead.. because SHERLOCK KILLED HIM!! The thing is, he wouldn't have survived that cliff jump or the water current in the storm, he was going to die anyway. But fucking Sherlock decided to become a murderer just so that he's not manipulated by William? These characters exceeded my expectations!! Like WHAT??!! What I thought was going to be the worst case scenario for William and Sherlock, turned out to be the best case scenario for Sherlock. The latter's sense of justice is unshaken. Though he knows William is using him to practice "necessary evil", he's still going after him. I'm really in awe. The dude doesn't waver at all. This anime just got 10 times better for me. I hope the show doesn't end on an original ending, it can't end here and now, I want moooore! |

| ''Catch me if you can, Sherlock'' - William One of the best lines in YnM. Well the mysterious but interesting character, Milverton finally died by the hands of Holmes. Who would have thought that he'd kill a person? Not even William. That's a big change in his character.. He'll go straight after the ''Lord of Crimes'' now for sure. The showdown wasn't between William and Milverton but IT WAS ALWAYS BETWEEN Holmes and William.. Poor John tho.. |

| Sherlock shooting Milverton really makes no sense, even if surprises are fun. Sherlock had no good reason to murder him there. He already called Milverton's bluff of having Mary's blackmail material published in the event of his death, so Milverton had no power over Sherlock (or Mary) at all. Sherlock also reached an understanding with Moriarty, the two of them literally pointing their guns at Milverton together, so Sherlock was not in any kind of danger, either. The fact that Milverton is a scum of a human being is irrelevant, because Sherlock never expressed hatred or revulsion towards criminals, not even Milverton. He seemed to be the type to enjoy the chase and uncovering the truth, not dispense justice. I bet he only cared about making arrests to prove that he solved the case and identified the culprit. Sherlock knew that Moriarty has no qualms about murdering people, especially if they deserve it, so if he specifically wanted Milverton dead, he could have just waited and enjoyed the show. His stated motivation of refusing to playing along with Moriarty's schemes and expectations is... pretty weak and almost petty. That's all it took for him to execute an unarmed man running away? And he's been begrudgingly accepting his role as a pawn, because it led to the least bad outcome and even benefited the society in some cases; I don't think he was angry about this arrangement, just annoyed. This just feels like a plot twist for plot twist's sake, and it's disappointing that the show seems to be using this incident to set up the final two episodes, called "The Final Problem," no less. And as someone mentioned, it was bad when a different show did it, too (funny how that show aired in 2014 and the manga started in 2016... it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth). |
