| Lucky Star for it's comedy and other anime references, it's one of those you come back to multiple times to get all the jokes. Since you liked K-on you could try Love Live. It's like the image anime of it's moe era, much like K-on! had been before. |

| Consider the old school: Azumanga Daioh is a classic for a reason and Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight should be considered a classic but was forgotten for no reason. Aria for iyashikei and Lucky Star for referential gag comedy are also ones that get mentioned often but I'm not much of a fan of them personally. I am a fan though of Ichigo Mashimaro's cutesy yet kind of sharp comedic style and Kamichu's unique focus mixing pastoral slice of life, folktale fantasy and high school romcom. If you want different vibes from the quiet and easy-going, check the post-apocalyptic hopelessness of Girls' last tour, the adventure drama of Sora yori mo tooi basho, the war trauma of Sora no woto or the reflective folktales of Konohana Kitan. If you want something more archetypal of the genre and type, Comic Girls is one of the most polished examples I can imagine. It's really really good as a textbook CGDCT show. Yama no Susume may remind you in certain aspects to Yuru Camp but it's its own beast and is very good at it. The currently airing Super Cub is looking like one of the greats, think of an even quieter Yuru Camp. Endro! is super underrated and I consider it a very solid and bold RPG parody. Even works that probably seemed lesser like Anima Yell or Tonari no kyuuketsuki-san grew to be very good entries. There's also great stuff that is somehow adjacent but not quite part of the CGDCT kind. Nichijou is cutesy, but it's more of a choral show and a well-renowned absurd comedy. Princess Principal is awesome and thrilling and it has a cast of young girls, except it doesn't even try to be cute. |

I'd say its borderline. Girl's Last Tour also has cute girls doing cute things but I can't recommend it in the same breath as K-On without first explaining why it's different. Madoka on the other hand has almost no humor whatsoever so there's no comparison. |

I mean, some people may consider snark cute if it's made by cute girls, but otherwise the show is very bleak and more in the edgy side than anything.
