damn this is not looking very good at all, oh well, only 1 episode left, i guess we'll see how this turns out; if this dude isnt gonna die then maybe we'll get a season 2 with a redemption arc?? wouldn't mind the ending being the death of this body though, would be a pretty interesting dark ending.

Wait so the heart stopped and the body is going to die now? It's not surprising at all and it makes sense to be honest, the owner of the body really killed himself with tobacco, alcohol, sleep deprivation etc, but I suppose that all the cells will save the body in a shounenish way for the last episode xD

The resurgence of the Top Rookie AA2153, losing best bud AC1677 is a done deal, it's time to move on with work.

When the whole body suffers, everyone is affected in one way or another...and it's very heartening that what the advertised video for RBC rookies represent (all the way back in Episode 1), it's AA2153 leading the way to be that example amongst the newer RBCs (e.g. his tag-along buddy NC8429).

The coronary artery is a vital component of the heart, but getting the flow of oxygen blocked as a result from myocardial infarction (a.k.a. heart attack), it's easily vulnerable as the pulmonary embolism from few episodes back for affecting diseases in an unhealthy and crumbling body ecosystem into full-on shutdown.

Consider this as Part 1 of the heart attack eulogy, next week's Part 2 of a finale will hit even harder. Will it be the end of the world body?

Our protagonist RBC is back at the job. But, he's still going through the trauma of losing his friend. The blood vessels are getting clotted with Plaque which is restricting the blood flow to the heart. And there you have it, a heart attack.
Seems like this is the end for this body. The person's gonna die. It's pretty sad to see all this. Gave me chills there for a second.

I classified this anime as "disaster genre", which is very rare genre for anime.
And it'd be pretty scary if this anime end at this episode.
But now there's one episode left, maybe there's still hope.

Which is kinda happy, but at the same time we won't get to see how body completely shutdown and life melt away, which would be one of the most terrifying scene of all anime.

I like the metaphor in Black more than normal one, like in this episode, we see the "bowing apology culture" from CEO and high rank position of company. Followed by lower cell rank striking. It's just brilliant.

Phenomenal episode. Actually amazing. We can see that Red Blood Cell grew, even if only a little bit from his friends death. The end of this body feels very intense and real, can't wait for next episode.

Shiiiiiit.

I'm interested to see what's gonna happen next week, I'm sure it'll be saved, but wouldn't be surprised either if it all fails and ends like that, with how this series has built up the darker side of a body on the down fall.

i like how the other series’ body got every deadly mishap done to it while still seemingly bright and healthy while this dude is pretty much close to having both feet onto death’s door
getting very Dinosaurs series finale-like depending how the last ep goes

I find it will make sense for the body to die because this series of cells at work is mainly about how things you do can affect the Body and that if you consistently do things that will damage the Body the body won’t be able to heal or be able to go back to what it once was and will lead to death if you don’t make better choices with what you do or let enter into your body

I hope the body dies, just to show that treating your body like shit is just not a good idea. And medicine can’t make up for it either.

I was finally happy that Sekkekkyuu got back to his old self, but everything changed for the worst so fast -_-
I loved that moment with the Chief Cell, he does look like a harsh cell, but still he values everyone's hardwork ^^

The higher ups have made there final decision. The body is doomed. Shut down everything. No work. Sorry. All hope has lost; however, AA2153...what will he do?

Though not completely recovered the release of all his pent up frustrations about the body really served to make Red Blood cell gets his self back together. Still the sorry condition of the body sure served to create plenty of tension within the cells that live and work in it. Converting that sense of guilt into positive energy by working hard in his memory. The scene of that collapse though sure is grim. But its unfortunate that what it meant did actually happen in the form of a heart attack. But still the reveal of that through a press conference sure was a novel idea. So this is the end huh. When silence descends the darkness begins indeed. Curious at this will end next week though.

A heart attack huh.. Not surprising with the condition the body was in and that right after RBC AA2153 finally managed to get back up on his feet. Poor timing.

Now is it truly the end or is there a miracle in store for us. Finale episode next week and the questions lurks, is this body going to survive or die?!

Considering how unhealthy the body has been, a heart attack was inevitable. Still, the apocalyptic atmosphere was super depressing, and just when our main character recovered his motivation to work. Only a miracle can save the body at this point.

Very dark episode - literally in the end, when all the lights switched off. I loved it! :) It appears that the self-destructing idiot who torments his own body will not change his ways unless Lady Death gives him a deep French kiss and a tight hug, which is what happened at the end of the episode.

I assume he will have a heart surgery (with a bypass) and presumably recover (hence the "recovery"), and the last part of the title of the next episode ("change") most likely refers to him growing some brains at last. Better late than ever or is it already too late and he will delay the inevitable for just a few months?

I wonder who those solemn guys who announced that this body was going to die were supposed to be. A humanoid representation of the body's natural death process or parts of the brain?

Well, this was inevitable, so the next episode can go in 2 ways:
- Adrenaline shoot + defibrillator and assisted respiration at ICU
- Isekai

If this was the final episode I would give it a 10 for having the balls to end the episode there, the guy is probably going to get CPR, depending on where the guy was when this happened tho, otherwise, they are fucked

my experience watching the episode was exactly that! the episode brought the best the Black version can offer, now I like it much more than the original one.

From what we seen last episode, was sadly expected what would happen in this episode.
Was sad see the platelet getting shout at.
I find interesting that meanwhile everyone are despairing, the Killer-Ts and Macrophages are already on acceptance. And had great close-up shots.

Not that CPR looks like is being administrated or a AED.
Even if resurrected, isn't a great future to the body after.

That's how the dead body from a heart attack described! Poor Rbc-kun, after having a good spirit to finally came back to work, the heart finally reached the critical point. Too much plaques, clogged everywhere, even the important vessels to the heart, the coronary arteries got blocked in an instant by a local blood clot. Poor Platelet-chans couldn't even managed to handle that worst situations. Then, the brain higher-ups cells had a little of their time to announced that sad news through the entire world of body, and finally the cells can be rest from their work, forever.....

This is actually can be said as the end of the story.

However, as the human technology still intacted, as the possible outside help for the poor body. The preview part is the possible way to get a better alternative ending for all of my poor black code cells, including all of my poor harsh Platelet-chans. Nice series, and i already decided my scores after this great episode. Very well done!

This show. THIS FREAKING SHOW.

I was clutching my chest without realizing by the end. Fuck. I did not expect this to ever get me like that.

You could feel the despair getting ahold of each and every cell, one by one, and the image of the lights slowly but surely going out around the body sold the impending doom perfectly.

We'll have to wait for the finale, but this episode right here was 10/10.

Because of unhealthy lifestyle, this body is dying. If the body dies, of course, all the cells will also die. But, it looks like the body will be revived based on the preview. Hope that incident will change the behavior of this human, if he really will survive.

Man, those last minutes were executed flawlessly. Quite distressing build-up and super ominous future for what it seems to be the last moments of this body after the heart attack it suffered.

This said, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation will be addressed for the finale but I'm still cautious about if it will work out in the end or not. Anyways, next week couldn't come sooner!

Great episode! It's good to see AA2153 back on his feet again, but he has a trauma from the stomach, at least Gastric Chief remembered his name, I am sure that meant a lot to our boy.

Damn heart attack though, bodily functions has already stopped. We probably going to see the body get revived by a defibrillator or something. Looking forward to the last episode.

Tremendous spoiler of the advances, especially the title.

This episode was predictable, there was no other way, what way to end this program, I could see that even the quality improved.

It would have been great if they gave two chapters, looking forward to the next week

I'm happy that our RBC, AA2153, got back on his feet. Not only did his colleagues congratulate him on his return, but even the Gastric Chief remembered his name and praised him. That was a nice moment...

...and it was the ONLY nice moment of the entire episode, as the whole body begun its descend towards total destruction from a heart attack. It was sad but also interesting to see how everyone we know reacted to the news of the body shutting down and how it showcased that by having all of the lights go out completely. It made for a proper cliffhanger ending.

Well, as long as you don't count the upbeat ED song, which felt so out of place in this episode that I had to laugh! XD

The final episode preview, and title, goes give away too much of what's to come, but regardless, I do look forward to seeing what'll happen next.

Welp, The body has finally reached its limit and having the heart stop has caused all other bodily functions to shut down. Once again, there is nothing the cells can do but to sit back and watch the body crumbles. It all comes down down to the individual if wants to live or not. There is only one way this body can saved after a cardiac arrest.
