| Ehh, I didn't like this chapter either. Power as a character is pretty grating so far, and I'm not really finding this boob thing very funny, especially since this is more or less the same punchline as the last chapter. More exaggerated sure with Denji's complete flip in perspective of Meowy, so kudos for escalating the joke properly. It make me rolls my eyes rather than laugh but whatever. |

| Holy, yeah this duo is insane, literally. Denji is a savage, he's wild, he's basically a beast, on the other hand so is Power. As a fiend she's unhinged, uncontrollable and definitely crazy and impulsive as was seen when she hammered that poor devil into a trillion pieces. The duo buddy team consist of 2 deranged lunatics, perfect! Once the dust has settled, it seems that the Blood Devil that took over Power's current physical body used to own a cat. | I'll reserve my full critique after I have a full sensible judgement of Chainsaw Man when I complete Volume 11, but now having finally started reading this and all of Tatsuki Fujimoto's works, I'm almost certain he's overrated. I'm a fan, enjoy his work and admit that he has great ideas with an intriguing unique style to his characters in how awkwardly comedic they are, intertwined with complex plots, but as much as that's charming for being different from the more common/classic comedy in manga, it's a bit too idiotic and random. Nonetheless, I sense a hint of potential to the serious side of this story, but his comedy and odd characters often take away from how great the plots are and essentially ruin them when the story is unstructured overall. He's certainly talented for his unique depiction of characters, action, and concepts of plots, but he's overrated for his flaws that many people are blinded by behind his outstanding action. |
