| 1. Rurouni Kenshin - Especially the Trust & Betrayal OVA. Literal perfection. I had a samurai sword phase when I was younger and Kenshin was the perfect gateway into anime because of that. 2. Legend of the Galactic Heroes - incredibly comprehensive space opera that is rife with ideological intrigues. 3. G Gundam - My first Gundam series ever and really got me into martial arts when I first saw it on Toonami. While I prefer most other Gundam series above it now, it really does remain a timeless classic in my repertoire. The Shining Finger theme always gets my blood boiling. |
