Dramas, comedies and thrillers are also likely to work well for me. Seinen and Josei are my favourite demographics. Madhouse are by far my favourite studio and I can't think of a show/movie they've done me wrong on yet. Unique art styles such as Masaaki Yuasa's. Characters with ponytails. Bonus points if the hair is red. I'm a weirdo that doesn't skip the opening songs so I put a lot of value of an anime on the opening song and animation with it. I like songs that get me excited and hyped up to watch. LiSA is the perfect example for that. 🍰 My Dislikes: Not too keen on watching any shoujo, harem or kids anime. 🍗 Can the recommendation be on your Plan to Watch list?: Sure but I'd prefer it wasn't a sequel to something I've already seen. ⛄️ Other comments: Sorry for how jumbled and specific it is but do feel free to go outside the box as long as you think it's nice and I'll like it. |

 ❄️ DONE ❄️ Mecha-ude: Well, I didn't hate it as much as you but that certainly felt very generic haha. Taking the duration into account, I was surprised they managed to explain most of the important points well enough so we can understand the story. The animation was a bit off, but not bad. The characters itself blaawgrgh. I don't think I would tolerate them if it was a longer series. THO SUGITA TOMOKAZU WAS THE BEST THING IN THAT ANIME!!!!! That should tell you a lot haha. The rest wasn't memorable. The mechanical thingies were cool tho, but that wasn't enough. Tbh man, I think I would end hating that girl if I saw more of her *sighs*. Scored a 5. Wouldn't recommend, unless it was for a challenge. Kaze to Ki no Uta Sanctus: Sei Naru Kana: *sighs*.... that sure is an annoying sl*t. It had an open ending. We are left with many questions. There are many others not properly explained. There's barely any BL. The guys look so 80's (like girls). The blondie is annoying asf. The black haired is a p*ss*...... Scored a 5. Wouldn't recommend, unless it was for a challenge. Koukaku Kidoutai: Stand Alone Complex: first impression wasn't good at all with that OP it has. Got me scared there for a minute thirty haha. The anime wasn't bad, but it can be a bit tedious/heavy to watch. I liked a lot the Tachikomas. The fluidity of the character movements was somehow interesting as well. Just the way they were animated and how each action was presented, specially in the non-actions ones, was another thing I liked a lot. The last image of the ED (boss in table and everyone looking ot the camera) made me think it looked like a hentai cover. I enjoyed most of it, but a fair bit felt like a drag. Scored a 7. Would think it a bit before recommending, it ain't for everyone. Abunai Sisters: Koko & Mika: I'm honestly surprised that I ended thinking that it wasn't so bad, since I watched it after completing Kodomo no Jikan (and that one was torture). The voices are annoying asf, man. Tho I'm guessing if it was the Jap dub instead of the Eng one, it might have been better. The animation itself wasn't bad, really. It was a rather simple, monotonous and stupid anime. Scored a 3. Would recommend for the lols, probs not if it was a serious rec. |

To: fabulatrice Isekai Izakaya: Koto Aitheria no Izakaya Nobu Completed Episodes: 24/24 (336 mins) This is incredibly close to something I would choose for myself - I loved it and am glad you shared it with me. I wished there was more as it was a wholesome feel-good type watch. Maybe my favourite isekai style anime I've watched, as it goes against the grain of the normal video game and/or medieval feel of most. Made in Abyss Completed Episodes: 13/13 (325 mins) The whole searching for relics to fund orphans and spelunking into an abyss plot points really intrigued me, as I'm an archaeologist IRL and I like to see the take on adjacent tropes. While the characters being children wasn't my favourite, I overall enjoyed this anime. I didn't like the weird tidbits of sexual humor from kids, but easy to move past. Kemono Friends Completed Episodes: 1/12 (288 mins) I couldn't get into it. I watched the first episode over a couple of times cause I kept losing myself in other things. It looked like it had potential to be cute, and it may be something I revisit in the future. Thank you @dierubikdie ! |

My main suggestions are the first ones and I've included one more TV show in case you want a bit of a choice, plus a side movie 「 Mo Dao Zu Shi 2 」 You seem to have enjoyed the start of this tale and since I did, too, it seemed like a good idea to continue. 「 Quanzhi Gaoshou 」 With just a few exceptions, this seems to fit your likes and since I enjoyed it, thought I'd send it over, for you to check it out too! 「 Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu 」 A historical/scifi mix that's worth a shot checking out both for the story and the technical part. I personally really like swords! It's standalone from the other franchise entries so it's watchable by itself. 「 Chibi Maruko-chan Movie: Italia kara Kita Shounen 」 An easy to watch movie that somehow reminds me of nostalgic Sunday mornings. To: MochiMagus ✔ Shion no Ou comments: It got more interesting the closer it reached the end. Watching the characters develop over their games was nice. Would have really liked more on why each move was played and/or what their strategies were. ✔ Sakamichi no Apollon comments: The jazz was nice. ✔ Denpa-teki na Kanojo comments: I had a hard time liking the characters, but their brief exploration of happiness being a zero-sum game was interesting. ✔ Nasu: Andalusia no Natsu comments: Like you said, this was a pretty well-paced movie. I saw Usagi Drop, it doesn't have a finish date. I had to search on my list to then use that link to search on yours, because I have no idea where the search are is. Your list doesn't use the status color so I have no idea in which list u have that anime. I didn't check all of them. Your list neither provides the more info section, so couldn't use that to confirm the dates. |
