| This flashback was actually pretty fun to watch. I kind of more curious about Naruto's parents, more so learn about his mother. I wonder when everyone will find out who Naruto's parents were. Won't that be a big shocker to everyone. |
| hehe it was by the book basically. I wonder what became of his mother. i don't really remember reading about it. it looks like jiraya is going to invade Pain's hideout. should be interesting. |

| Awwww, it was sooo good!!! <3 I loved seeing the Toad World animated, very pretty!! And it was nice seeing Naruto's parents. | as someone who doesn't touch the manga of course it's hard to not have already been spoiled about certain foreshadowed fights (comming pretty soon it seems) but I had no idea that Jiraya trained Pein, that blue haired chick and idk who that 3rd kid was supposed to be, was it something I missed or have they just not touched on it yet? anyway this was the 1st shippuuden ep in a while that I was genuinely surprised about something |

These flashbacks are much better than the original episodes, they show a lot of information, while a new episode shows tiny information, like 1/4 part of a battle and some unfinished discussion in the village. |

| I always find it funny that Orochimaru always looks so super evil even when he was young and on Konoha's side...at least they could've made it so his experiments on himself changed him to look like he does now and made him look normal beforehand O_o |

| I've got to say the anime did a great job putting all those flash backs into these 2 episodes. Also, It was finally great for everyone (people that don't read the manga) to find out that YES, Naruto's dad is the 4th Hokage. |

| Just to clarify whatever misconceptions people seem to be coming up with: 1. It was never mentioned that the 4th was Naruto's father until this recent arc... and yes, this was exactly how it was revealed in the manga as well. 2. The three kids are Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato. I'm pretty sure everybody knows that they're related to Akatsuki now in some way. 3. It was never mentioned what happened to Naruto's mother. 4. Nagato's hair has ALWAYS been red even in the manga. It was red in the colored pages. |

| i'd have to say this is one of the best episodes in a while in naruto it put all these peices together showed some history and it all made sense in the end by far out of all 126 i can say this is probably the best imo |

| I always wondered who Naruto's father was., and well the 4th seems a reasonable choice but not 100% sure. But anyway., That episode was awesome..It was so cool when all 3 of them did their summoning and destroyed all those people so quickly. Pain is still a Beast. (A Cool One..) <.< But an evil one. But i loved it, Can't wait for next week. |
