| Alright so, Vinland Saga is okay. Should be a fun ride. Dr Stone is weird in a lot of ways, but whatever let's roll with it. I do question the need to add some edgy dude so early on though. He gave off a bad vibe at the start but I couldn't think what kind of motivation a "bad guy" would have in that kind of situation, guess I was too naive. Case Files is whatever so far. |

| So by playing for almost 200 hours I've finally finished the main campaign of Pathfinder Kingmaker. Undoubtedly the longest campaign of any RPG I have ever played, and I didn't even play the second dlc questline (Beneath the Stolen Lands). Holy jeezus, that was long. Great game though, and pretty difficult game to boot. Difficulty is more based around preparation and building your characters, and with a tinge of rng and some micromanagement, but it makes it more satisfying when you your build characters well with the complex class and stat systems crpgs like these have. Ashamed to admit but also turned down the difficulty on two particular encounters because they were bullshit. Near the end, too. Might just be because I ran out of patience because the game is longer than sin, but they were still bullshit. Ran on customized normal difficulty (a bit harder than normal). I love the difficulty system of this game, btw. There's a lot of choices on almost every aspect of the game regarding difficulty that you can customize for yourself. Makes the problem "The game's too hard on hard, but too easy on normal" problem go away elegantly. Story wasn't bad but nothing special. Roleplaying factor itself wasn't exactly special either. OST can be good at times. Best parts of the game were definitely gameplay, classes, and progression. You really feel your characters get stronger when they level up, which is important on CRPGs considering it's quite different in comparison to leveling up on JRPGs. Don't know if I like it better than DoS2, I'd say its around equal. Didn't expect best character to be the chaotic evil goblin, btw. |

| Finally started Yakuza, bought 0 on the steam summer sale for only 5 euro, great bargain. Finished chapter 1 and man I struggled hard against Kuze on just normal difficulty. Hell it even asked me to put it down to easy difficulty, fucking reeeeee. Not sure if it's supposed to be hard or I just suck lol |

| Yeah, the bad news for you is these games are pathetically easy to the point where playing on hard its pretty damn difficult to even die, you can just stock up on toughness Zs and stamina X's and never have an issue, in terms of difficulty only the newest release judgment and the original 1 and 2 have much difficulty at all and even then its moderate. Me and alot of fans actually handicap the game's boss fights for ourselves to add some iota of diffuclty, by just not using items once your in a boss fight, it makes some fights really fucking tense and fun cause otherwise you power through em. I never saw anyone say the game was hard till 0 came out on pc cause its not just you, so I was assuming its maybe the mouse and keyboard controls are bad for the game's combat or something unless your playing on a controller already. |
