Back to Natsu, there's still the past about his Dragon Slayer origins. I guess even at this point in the show, they're still building up for this Natsu/Zeref. At least Natsu is back to his normal firey self now. |

| That was a weak sentimental display by Irene, it was like they didn't know how to end her battle with Erza. So they chose the motherly ending for her, how weak after the things she said to her. If you going to start off in that villainy, end off in that villainy- don't quit bitch. But I liked how Erza responded and became true to her self until the end- the master was her only parent. Glad Natsu woke up, but he should've chosen both- what a stupid Shounen protagonist! |

| my god im just glad this fight is finally over imo was one of the worst fights in the series idk if its better in the manga or not as i have still yet to read the manga but god im happy its over also glad natsu is finally back hopefully next ep goes back to being good again |

| That's was epic Best fight this arc and my favorite Erza fight in FT,animation and ost and epic moments..I feel sad for Irene such a tragic story and she couldn't kill her daughter because she loved her so much Thank you FT for the moments❤ |

| It was better than in the manga imo. I still hate it tho. Erza literally destroys a meteor singlehandedly,since she has just 1 bone remaining unbroken, then on the way back heavily injures a dragon, then tries to fight with a sword in her body. That still feels a bit extreme, even for a shounen. Also Natsu choosing felt like some pokémon game asking "are you a boy, or a girl?" then you are like "neither lmao". That choice felt just dumb. |
| the hottest MILF of this show is now dead, RIP Irene you sure remember the "mothers love for her children" and this is the part in the manga about Natsu choosing to be human and cast away both the dragon seed and demon seed that i do not get at all like why is still Natsu have the dragon slaying magic then? |

| To be honest, the whole Irene thing was meh... i never really have a shit about that story line. However, i think things will really pick up now that Natsu is back. I do have a question though; now that Natsu has no dragon seed, how will he use Dragon Slayer magic? |

| This fight was garbage in the manga, and it was as shitty in the anime. Erza destroying a meteorite with almost all her bones broken was already top tier bullcrap, but after that, being able to hurt Irene in her dragon form (remember that dragons are almost invulnerable and even the Dragon Slayers were unable to hurt the random dragons that Future Rogue released from Eclipse) just because Wendy powered her up temporarily was way too much even for Erza. Probably one of the worst fights of Fairy Tail, maybe from a shounen anime as well. Erza is just the absolute worst, almost every battle she had after Oración Seis has been ridiculous (and not in a good way), she's the stain that ruins everything good a story arc may had. But well she's Erza after all, so the bullshit is just part of her character, unfortunately. Irene's suicide was dumb as well too. The rotten cherry on the top for a truly disastrous battle. And, so ends the plotline of E.N.D. So promising, so full of potential, only for Natsu to end it with "welp, I'm just human". But, it's okay, doing something with that would be too much to ask to Mashima, so... |

| Fairy Tail takes plot armor and plot convenience to the next level. Hyping up characters only to disappoint time and time again. Some ridiculous stuff in this episode especially. |
| A crazy amount of asspulls even by FT standards. Animation remains god awful. This has turned into something that is so bad that it's good. |

| Me, last episode: I was pleasantly surprised Erza didn't have a cheese victory. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Erza's one of my favorite characters and I don't mind her feats, but this was pretty over the top even for her. I don't mind that Irene couldn't kill her daughter and loved her in the end, I just thought it was done quite poorly. Oh well, journey not destination and all that. Irene had some great moments and was one of the few members of the Twelve worth a damn. One of my favorite villains in all of Fairy Tail for sure. Also disappointed with Natsu's choice (ignoring that this whole in-his-mind dynamic is stupid) because I'd for a split second envisioned him as turning into an actual dragon and how epic that would be. Instead he's a human. |

| Ah classic Fairy Tail. Theres these two deadly seeds inside you that we have been building up for the entire run. But now they gone because you believed in yourself! Oh and some stupid dramatic thing with Elza and her so called mother I suppose I was suppose to feel sad about? They reaaaaly should stop wasting our time with trying to be emotional and just stick to the action and fanservice. but then that sucks too because of the awfullll power scaling and retconing. The very idea that Elza could beat Irene or even remotely fight her is insane, they built her up as this insanely OP wizard. Well Elza could weild a small sword in a skimpy outfit.. Sure that beats a dragon, k. |

| Well, they just adapted really well the whole content of the chapters covered. too bad is some of the worst things to come out from this arc and they should instead stray away from it. Not like the content that will come in the next episodes is any better, but at least they are not as bad as this.... for a bit (and when we get to a certain "exposition" chapter -that was arguably worse since it steps all over some well-established enough lore, which was one of the few things Fairy Tail yet nearly didn't break up until this arc came- that will be the moment I'll remember why I just hoped for the manga to end its own misery asap back when it was releasing). Another unfortunately easy 1/5. |

I disagree. Saying this season compares with the Grand Magic Games arc is a stretch for anyone, even a fanboi. |
| This episode adapted to the manga better than the other latest episodes, and I think it's started to appeal to my interest again. For the animation 7\10 for good. I found the animation acceptable for me watching it through. Character development 6/10 for fine. I mean I'm not a hater on fairy tail for it's character development, or anything else, but It has a generic part to it that appeals to me, but still already takes up the entire show. |
