| I saw the thumbnail yesterday and thought this was a meme. When I saw the trailer I was actually kinda wanting to watch it. I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. It looks funny and comedy is definitely the way to go with a movie like this. |
| The films looks nice, and watched this trailer though ANN, man, the CGI looks really nice, but often less good and too realistic to be made. I wish if they made this film in 2D format, not for 3D, 3D tend to very terrible for animal characters to be designed. (sorry for my poor English) |

| I don't care if it turns out the movie is terrible - I just really want to see what the Pokemon world is like in a live action setting. Pikachu and Jigglypuff look ADORABLE, and the world is very detailed if we go by the trailer. On top of that, Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu. I need to see that as it just astounds me. You can already find Deadpool Pikachu's on Google... |

| Huh, did not expect this but the trailer was...surprisingly good. It hast some "Ted" vibes, but with Pokemon. I'll give this a try for sure when released. It coud become one of the few good live action anime movies. |

But I guess it makes sense to use Pokemon in our world since it's just easier to film. As a Pokemon fan who started with Pokemon Red on the very day it was released in Europe and who's still playing Pokemon games at least once a year, I can't really get hyped for this. |

| i've only seen memes and posts about it and never saw the full trailer until now. it looks better than i thought! i'm keen as for it. ryan reynolds as the voice actor was unexpected, i reckon they could've chosen someone more suited than him but nevertheless, doesn't matter too much. he's funny so it's not as bad as other people think. |

I’m always open for new fresh takes on the Pokémon universe and I think this would be kind of interesting. | Visual's great. I think they pretty much nailed the worldbuilding (PIKACHU AND JIGGLYPUFF LOOKED SO FLUFFY I CAN'T--). But IMO Ryan Reynolds' voice ruined it. Reynolds didn't even try to change the 'personality' of his voice or anything. That ain't Pikachu, that's just straight up a yellow small fluff version of Deadpool! I DO hope this movie will embody the magical feel of OG Pokemon movies, tho. OG Pokemon movies usually focus on finding a legendary Pokemon and the adventures that revolve around it. But this live-action already feels different because it focuses more on finding the MC's dad. But I guess they should kinda start somewhere. They need to introduce the non-fans to Pokemon via the MC. If this movie doesn't do that well, I hope they go with the 'finding-legendary-pokemon' formula in the next one. |
