For better looks: * you should add bordering to your letters * don't use the same character in the same lighting/size so often in one signature. * saturation on the member card might be a little high. view on other devices if you don't see it * use a better font on the card, looks like basic font |
| I've been using Takana_no_Hana's ShelterStyle v2 list style (Kimi no Na wa version) for approximately one year now (since it's my most favorite among his works), and I've thought of uploading a brand new banner for my anime list after I discovered this one gorgeous picture of the twins with long hair. https://myanimelist.net/animelist/LunyRed Here's what the new banner looks like: Just some simple edits applied. I redid the Welcome text, moved the Welcome text on the lower portion of the banner, then the most time-consuming thing I did with the text was to move each letter up or down alternatively. The styles of their names placed on opposite sides were retained from the original. Both have been inclined symmetrically. I'm aware the banner is big, but there's really no restriction to the height of the banner as far as I can tell. Besides, I like the banner big as it is. ^^' |
I finished a new list theme in December, but there were a few things I wasn't quite satisfied with, so I finally got around to tweaking it a bit. Thank you for the kind words o(β§β½β¦)o I totally understand about the font issue in most GFX profiles. One of the most common reasons is that finding the right font for small print is time-consuming. I was disappointed to discover that a lot of my favorites fonts for making sigs look like messy porridge in my layout, so I spent a lot of time searching new fonts online. Another reason is that people only use texts as 'flavor' to decorate their profile without caring about the contents of the words. I'm really against this since I do want people to know more about me through my profile :) |

Thanks for sharing. I think I have the solution to your problem. Even tho the site lets you put two pieces in at 800px total, a single piece put in at 800px total gets resized down to 798px. That's why its jagged. It's a weird thing and hard to explain. I don't see they just didn't let single images be up to 800px without resizing them. Anyways, SOLUTION: split the bottom piece into two pieces and post that. Then it will equal the proper 800px width and not be resized.   [img]https://i.imgur.com/3bqoxr4.png[/img][img]https://i.imgur.com/A94l2tS.png[/img] It took away the jaggedness when I tried it on my profile.  |
