The way that he tortured and beat down Jimeze was something that I completely expected from him. Gohan's disgust at him was pretty evident this episode as well. | The surprise just didn't present when they made it too obvious that Gohan and Freiza were up to something. Zeno straight up erased Frost on the spot was unexpected. Hyped for the 1-hour special. Not sure how in the world Goku could pull off a spirit bomb in the mid of fighting someone like Jiren. Jiren doesn't seem like he is chill enough to let his enemy charge that giant attack. Also excited to see the new ending theme in that special. I am also expecting a tweak to the opening sequence (probably showing the universes' fighters instead of blacking their faces out) since it marks the beginning of the fall season of anime. This episode further proven my theory of the super dragon ball's creator being one of the top 5 gods. His creation is located in 2 universes (6 & 7) => he has control over at least 2 universes unlike the gods of destruction. Now Whis confirmed that the super dragon has the power to even erase a god like Beerus. |

| Damn I love Frieza. Knew that he was pulling his punches when Gohan reacted to his first attack, and his deceptiveness and conniving attitude never disappoints. Also love how quick and easily Frost was erased. Looks like the real hype train starts next week. |

| Well Frost was an amateur that's for sure. Frieza's a pro at what he does. I really enjoyed seeing Frieza be all savage and totally wrecked Jimeze. And the whole Gohan vs Frieza fight was epic. Frieza even went Golden which was so cool to see. Even if they weren't at full power, it was a cool fight nonetheless. Frieza teaching Frost how to transform to 100% full power buff form reminded me of Vegeta showing Cabba SSB. I think the lines may have been similar. Something like "You too can have this power if you train". I was hoping Frieza was gonna take out Frost in his Golden form but seeing the Buff form was also pretty cool. And thus Frost is erased. lol Hype for next episode o/ |

| Lol we got really trolled,but not as hard as Frost xD still kind of a let down, their coperation was teased and then nothing came from this.. it was obvious that one would betray the other,but not so random and anticlimatic. The whole drama for nothing, Frost could've been beaten last episode and this one used for something better..I also don't think that Frieza will have some kind of change now or that Gohan really starts to trust him. |

| I really can't trust Frieza as he is really unpredictable but i know only that he just fight for himself. Anyway this was a good episode and i really can't wait for the 2 episodes coming in the 2 weeks.So next week no DBS since there is going to have 2 episodes of One Piece |

| The first half was bad and I seriously hope Ribrianne will be done for. She is just an annoying nuisance. Second half was definitely better with Friea basically trolling everyone except Gohan once he received that first punch. RIP Frost. |

He just rarely uses this technique, because it'd be boring to watch him spamming it, also he doesn't have time to use it anymore, since his opponents are so fast. (It happened in Dyspo vs Goku fight). By the way, I think during the Goku vs "purple Vegeta" filler there was a scene where he spammed this technique. -Frieza is fast enough to make the "casting time" of the instant transmission look too long. Same as Dyspo vs Goku fight. I find that Frieza-Frost alliance just something to fill some episodes with, just like many other things. It made no sense. And yeah, why even bother to show Goku, if he doesnt do anything? -- Anyways, it was an ok episode. Now we gotta wait 2 weeks, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Also excited for the opening tweaks. I'm pretty sure it's going to be changed a bit, because of Goku's new form, etc. I just wonder what's going to happen by the end of the tournament, since Goku and Jiren will have a climatic battle in the next episodes. Maybe something even better happens? 31 combatants left btw. |
| Well that was a bit anti-climactic ending for Frost. Wanted to see more of him and Freeza together, but getting straight on erased without warning was savage! |

| Thank God Frost is out of the tournament and even better, Hes erased lol. and i cant seem to be able to tell when is Gohan using his Mystic Form. I though the Yardat was owning Ultimate Gohan, Thank god that wasnt the case. 8/10 episode |
| I feel like the writers are failing pretty badly at making me hate Frost. I mean, he's not a likable character, but I just don't hate him either. He's just poorly written. He's like Baby in GT; there's potential, but the writers screw it up with their cookie cutter formula fiction ideas of what a villain should be. The fact, that he was using poison and tricks to fight godlike foe's was actually pretty great in my opinion. I'd much rather root for a character, who does all that's at his disposal then someone like Goku and Vegeta with their godly power ups, that come in 3 different colours, but hardly any distinguishable differences in performance other than the declarative "power level"-bullshit. Also; another "hey universe 6 my "transformation" is bigger than yours"-scene. Just what we needed. So I guess Frost is erased now? That was a pretty nonchalant way to do it. Gohan VS Frieza was pretty disappointing, but atleast the excuse is, that it wasn't a serious fight at all. To be honest though, I don't get what Frieza's scheming was about. He really didn't need to do it to grab a hold of Frost. He could probably telecinetically grab Frost, when he's guard was off while Frost was doing his scheme. You know, like how he killed Krillin back in the day. I guess Frieza likes his sadistic games, so fair enough. But I never considered Frieza to be into roleplaying. |

| At the beginning I wasn't sure because you can never be sure about the things Freezer wants to do. But the moment when the time freezed a little bit and they showed Gohans face during the clash I knew something is wrong. Frost got fooled so much by Freezer but he deserved to get kicked out this way. Zeno didn't even hesitate to obliterate him after Frost tried to attack Freezer. With that Freezer makes it pretty interesting. Let's what he plans next. Meanwhile Goku fighting with Ribrianne. I don't really like all this love thing but oh well. Next episode will be the special right? God damn that will be so good. Haven't seen a Genkidama in forever :o |

| This was an interesting episode. The bits of Goku vs Ribrianne were alright albeit nonproductive, just the fact Goku is still in base does nothing to really make it seem like it will be an intense fight but it was nice to hear some of the other gods again for the first time in who knows how long. Their fight still has potential but it just feels too much like a way to preoccupy Goku until Jiren decides to step in to fight. Gohan vs that Universe 3 warrior seemed like it could have been interesting but it ended as soon as it started, which was a shame. I find it odd that Piccolo was nowhere to be found this episode, I know that I wanted them to be separate so they could do their own things but to not even acknowledge how Gohan and Piccolo ended up randomly splitting up after insisting on keeping them joined to the hip for most of the tournament was jarring to say the least. I knew the episode would focus more on Frieza and Frost's shenanigans but Gohan vs Jimeze was a lot smaller a fight than I would have expected. Frieza was quite dominant and brutal in finishing off Jimeze, who unfortunately did nothing to show off more Yardrat moves aside from the Instant Transmission. Frieza had a point when he was criticizing Gohan about his poor performance, he isn't really one to speak given how much of a spectacle he made out of his own transformations back in Namek, but Gohan's lack of use of even the base SSJ form is disappointing, understandable since he's trying to focus on improving his Ultimate form but using SSJ would have been an easy enough way to power up without revealing too much of his hand, even though he already used Ultimate a few episodes back. I'm not really fond of how they seem to have made the whole 'staying in base for too long and not powering up quick enough' a Saiyan quirk, attributing their faults to their species rather to them as individuals seems like an excuse to try and justify why they take such a needlessly complicated approach against characters in this tournament that aren't even a real challenge to them. I have to admit Frieza has been an absolute joy to watch during this arc, I don't recall enjoying him nearly as much during his own arcs as I am here. Frost referring to Frieza as senpai was funnier than it should have been but it'll be interesting to see this dubbed since iirc their VAs are brothers. The small bits of Ultimate Gohan vs Golden Frieza was nice for what it was, even though it wasn't a serious fight at least it helps wash away that bitter taste from Gohan's pitiful performance against 1st Form Frieza back in ROF. It was surprising to see Frieza use his 100% form again as it was to see Frost use it, I figured the bulking up was just an aftereffect of not mastering their abilities but I guess not. Frieza betraying Frost was very expected but still quite amusing though it was shocking to see Zeno erase Frost so quickly. It was a shame to see Frost go, if only because I still feel he has potential and if he's ever restored I would like for this to open his eyes and serve as a catalyst to make him more decent a person, i.e non-Frieza like. Gohan really got ragdolled this episode but at least seeing through Frieza's facade helped him from looking too bad this episode. Frieza role as a wild card brings a certain kind of depth that this tournament could really benefit from, the way he's playing with the gods has a lot of potential to be amusing. I think this is the first time Frieza has referred to Gohan by his name. The special coming up in a few weeks seems promising, the much hyped Goku vs Jiren, SSB Kaioken x20 and Goku's new Limit Form are sure to be a delight. |
