| Lol'd at all the teacher interruptions. Gintama does Tsukkomi very well. |
| I like how the teacher and kids were crying at the end, and with good reason. Gintama sure goes back and forth from serious to dramatic to hilarious and raunchy in the blink of an eye! I also like how the first couple of times that the fourth wall was broken in this show, the characters freaked out about it, but now, no one bats an eye. |

| "Why is there a flashback in your journal?" hahahah that teacher's remarks and gags were really funny! That Daigoro kid sounds a lot like Naruto.. same VA maybe? I'm too lazy to look it up I'm not gonna lie... I cried, man. Only a little but I really did. It was very beautiful. They probably didn't want the viewers to end up bawling so they ended it in a somewhat comedic way but for me.... I just.... damn. Madao = best character in Gintama. I knew it! I freaking knew it! When Madao is in it the episode is sure to be great. If this is a one-episode OVA, I'd give it a 10/10. |

| Totally loved this episode. The teacher's comments were incredibly hilarious. Does anyone know who's the voice actor? - And it says that it screwed up while making a swing. - Daigoro-kun!!! Dx Excellent episode. From the beginning to the very end. From the joke the teacher says when Daigoro told he missed the morning exercise, making all the class laugh to the moment everyone sheds tears especially the teacher himself. F*cking hilarious. x'D |

| I don't understand, how am I laughing from such a funny episode in the beginning, to suddenly getting teary eyes from mid-way to the end of the episode? I guess that's just some weird side effects from watching too much Gintama. This anime in some occasions does this, and it's a comedy. It must be broken... PS: Omg this line: When the kid reads that he lights up a malboro: "This isnt a stept to become an adult, it's a damn escalator!" cracked me up xD |

| I loved the change in the boy's narration midway through the story. The change in mood was sublime, it made Madao's tale even more enjoyable. That guy has a heart of pure gold. "I don't need beer or work... I've already received enough..." |
| Oh my god, this episode is absolutely beautiful. I think this is my new favorite episode of Gintama. The directing was fantastic with great art, story, just enough humor, and so many wonderful shots. Very emotional. Seriously, kudos to the anime team! I'm so glad my favorite character got such a gorgeous episode! |
