About fucking time Shu grew some balls. The reason she died is because he couldn't hold his squad in check, which then caused unnecessary casualties.

Watching the series for the first time. Wow, episode 15 was amazing. I am heartbroken by Hare's death, but in a good way. Sometimes tragedy is what is needed to make a dynamic change in the main character. Shu was strongly impacted by this. Hare was one of my favorite characters; her death makes this anime really good to me.

Oh boy, what monster have they created...It's pretty sad that he completely become the opposite of what Hare wanted.

I could watch Shu punch that sack of shit Souta for hours...

R.I.P Hare, she was one of the few good characters in this show.

Easily the best episode so far. I'm very intrigued by this new Shuu, he can't be as bad like the one we had before, right?

Hare dies. Shu rages and void rapes Inori.

Anyways, I am enjoying this.

Wait. did Tsugumi just call Ayase Ayane at 4:45?

Tyvm for killing best girl. Gah. And true she should have healed herself first. It's not like voids have limited uses...

Hah. Shu's development is pathetic.

Srsly tho, this is going downhill again.

Goodbye Hare-chan :(
Shu going full bad-ass, no emotions, just power.

Shu has finally decided enough is enough and is determined to become "King" and get rid of the GHQ entirely most likely.

Despite what had happened, this episode gave birth to the ultimate Shu x Hare ship.
Also, it made me abandon the Shu x Inori ship.
I'll never forget that feeling....

Still, Shu x Hare forever!!

Your love is very scary. At the last moment you don't even care about yourself. What comes to your mind is your first love. I really like your nature. Hare your kindness will only bring greater problems.

Huh, so Hare really died? Well it was Souta and his gang's fault, their plan was shit and they would all have died without achieving absolutely nothing. Souta is also a retard for saying Shu lied just because they found that list , no reason to assume they would actually use it.
Inori tried to deny him her void for no reason in a life or death situation, just so she can later call him out on forcing her void out was so stupid and out of character just to generate some drama. So Shu now will become kind of a "dark king" and people will tell him that he changed for the worse. Then he will fuck up somehow because he didn't show kindness and will make another 180 to become the old wimpy protagonist again...

So, any reason Hare couldn't have, I don't know, healed herself first, pulled Shu to safety, then healed him? It didn't seem like his wounds were going to be fatal without immediate medical attention, and from the pools of blood next to her it seemed like her injuries were far worse. Oh well, probably not even the dumbest character decision in this anime so far.

Shu going all edgelord right at the end was pretty funny too. Can't wait to see how that plays out.

Everybody starting to agree with the ranking idea? Pathetic.

What's with Hare ridiculously referring to Shu as a king? Good grief! "You do things softly. That's what I love about you, Shu." Oh what crap. She's a good person, but she's really stupid in regards to her "love". Haha what?! She gave up her life for him. Too funny. Why did she get the virus though?

Digging rage-Shu going ham on the endlaves. Gimme more of that. Aaaand then he acts like a douche to Souta, *sigh*, becoming evil. I might hate the direction this is about to turn. If he goes full heartless-mode then I hope he dies at the end after defeating GHQ.

What is Shu's "mom" doing? Was that her the other episode erecting those walls around Loop 7?

This series is starting to grow on me a little, sometimes ya just gotta kill off a fan favorite to create interest and I think it certainly did the trick here. They built Haru up to be Shu's pillar of support, it'll be interesting to see where he goes from here without her.

On that note it's nice to see Shu finally grow a pair at the end there. Souta's stupidity was absolutely the root cause of Haru's death and he fully deserves Shu's disdain. But on the bright side at least it was the trigger that finally awoke Shu to the harsh reality of the situation. Imo his previous indecisiveness would've only lead to the death of them all.

It's hard to change one self from being a people pleaser. Someone like that in a leadership position ends up spending or rather wasting, way too much time and effort trying to get everyone to like them. But in times of war that's far from the most important trait a leader should have. Sometimes a ruthless efficiency is necessary for the greater good in spite of the harsh sentiments it may result in and I for one am looking forward to seeing Shu trend on the dark side.

Well uh, I was going to say that I was surprisingly invested in the last few eps (13-15); Guilty Crown had sat down, toned back the absurd plot, and actually grounded itself into a functioning story with actual characters and character development.

...and then we ended with Shu going complete edgelord, so I imagine we’re going straight back downhill next episode. Sigh.

I’m imagining the plot is going to implode soon anyways, but this next part can’t be good. At least comically edgy Shu should be funny, right?

I feel "guilty" but since this is fiction, that was an immensely satisfying conclusion LOL. Every punch in Souta's face felt good, I can't stand him. Their "lifeline" Hare is gone though.

This episode can be seen as "anti-socialism" propaganda, but it's because distinct roles weren't established fast enough. The less potent just needed to swallow their pride, and the structure would've been more successful. Now Shu can't be proactive anymore, but reactive.

I'm all for the Daryl x Tsugumi these past few episodes. Enjoying her screentime at the school.

I think they have been doing a good job last couple of episodes, but this was clearly the best so far from them.

TBH Inori been feeling pointless, lately, really, from early on in this series she started to drop in appeal, or better, lack of anything other than good looks, and Hare was at least becoming a way more likable character, guess this is what they were aiming for.

RIP.

9/10 for this episode

I've been thinking how I wish they could just eliminate Hare in the first episodes because she was annoying af but now I see how her death can benefit the show from now on? In a way that Shu finAlly gets stronger

oh and hopefully Inori will get more attention, 7 episodes left and we know almost nothing about her past

Don't despair. Now's not the time for that.
But there's no way to turn back time.

How does implementing a ranking system make people work better? Sure it makes sense when deciding which people to vaccinate, but otherwise what would be the purpose? I do feel sorry for these guys classed as Rank F though

RIP Hare, I take back calling her a bitch before. It makes it even more sad that she didn't get to tell her feelings to Shu thanks to your typical phone-kun. It's sad but not too sad because at least it does unlock beast-mode Shu

Man, damn those dudes in the helicopter.

With the area in the wall shrinking and supply lines being cut off, the ranking system is inevitable, but Hare's death will make it happen sooner.

It's not a mere "turn to the darkside" because Shu's sad over her death; without a healer, the pressures to decide who needs vaccinating the most will become greater. Hare drying is emotionally damaging to their president and materially damaging to their medical sector, and this will culminate in the desperate measures being implemented quicker.

I really hope Shu becomes an emotionless prick who uses people as tools. And doesn't realize how fucked up he is until the end. But he will only act like this for 2 episodes and then become like he used to be again. Inori will do something that makes him change back and then they start acting sweet. And then it ends with Inori dying.

I felt that shu may have just had the needed character development and he may, FINALLY, become an actual good character. I'm a bit annoying thought at how the majority of the episode went, ending was pretty good but the rest was a bit rubbish. I mean shu literally cause Hare's death (although technically it was Souta who's actions lead to her death cause he is a mega, selfish, dumbass).

This show does at least kill characters, I can give it that, and I didn't really expect it.

Even so, I'm really just not feeling the whole high school rebellion thing. It's turned Shu into just the absolute most generic anime protagonist when before he had pretty interesting dynamics with Gai and Inori. Now everyone just sucks his dick all the time. Hare was a good character, but even her dynamic with Shu this episode was being nice to him.

And Shu being a King... Like everyone said he would make a great leader, but even he thinks he sucks at it. Before, yknow, when Gai was the leader, it was more interesting bc they had to work together even though they didn't like each other. Shu had the power, Gai had strategies. Now that Shu is the leader, the conflict comes from Shu making terrible decisions and his subordinates making even worse ones.

Also, Inori's just done nothing aside from wasting those bullies in the past few episodes. She's already kinda boring, so she'd better start having character development soon.
