| Yes, an all fight no BS episode of Bleach. I was slightly disappointed that it was going to be an Ikkaku fight episode, but then he brings out his bankai! There's really nothing more to be said about this episode other than it was action packed, had a surprise in it and concluded on a climax. It's pretty much the type of Bleach episode I've been waiting for all this time. |

| I didn't see the bankai coming at all. I thought Ikkaku wouldl die and it'll move over to Hitsugaya or Ichigo. Still looking forward to how Ichigo will deal with his hollow side-- will he be consumed or will he use the Vaizagard(sp? I mean the group of ex-shinigami who've acquired Hollow powers). Next episode looks uninspiring though. Might just skip it. |

| I liked this episode but..........ok, am I the only one who's kinda annoyed by the fact that Bankai, this super-strong level that is only achieved by a select few, is becoming....well, common? I guess that's just the tendency of shounen anime, but since this is the only shounen fight anime I've seen (well, the longest anyways...) it's kinda getting on my nerves. But I'll keep watching ^_^ Rukia's zanpakuto release last ep was sooo cool! |

You can bet Ikkaku's friend, the pretty guy, has also achieved bankai too. I liked the episode a lot, but I'm going to agree with manateegirl. Bankai is not supposed to be easy to attain. :/ |

| You forget that there are thousands of shinigami (if not more). The number of people known to be able to use bankai are but a fraction of the total number of existing shinigami. What's strange isn't the number of people with bankai, but the fact that even captains (who all have bankai or are called Zaraki Kenpachi :P ) will have a lot of trouble whooping some Arrancar ass. Bankai was known as the ultimate power only attainable by a select few. However there is a fraction within the Hollow (without the Hyougoku) that seem to be even stronger than captain class shinigami, but don't feel like going on a rampage......... I highly doubt Yumichika has bankai. He's strong, but he never really gave me an impression like Ikkaku did. As said, Yumichika couldn't get a higher seat than the 3rd, but I think that Ikkaku would be able to be fuku-taichou, or maybe even with his bankai, taichou.......... |

| I honestly thought Ikkaku was going to die, and I was all "No, dammit, he can't die, he's just too awesome–" And then he whips out a flippin' awesome bankai. One wonders, however, how long he's had it... Did he have it before he faced Ichigo? And it appeared that Yumichika knew that he had achieved bankai as well... Awesome episode. Not too much bs-ing and trash-talking, either; it was mostly just the fight. |

| I agree with the bankai seeming a bit common. If Renji and a 3rd seat have it you can bet most vices are close to it as well. However, they are always amazing so i don't care if they are common xD Ikkaku kicks ass with his bankai, what more is there to say? XD |

| Good episode, I never saw Ikkakku's Bankai coming. When Yumichika called for a funeral I thought he'd lose the battle. But I guess I finally start to like better Ikkaku as a character, now when more traits of his' were revealed. |

| Was studying and yesterday that episode showed, watched to times yesterday, so long time finished the bleach anime. Was nostalgic and could remember good times and my childhood. Like to watch random Bleachs episodes when i bored to remember the past. |

| I get why ikkaku having bankai would annoy some, but he’s the second strongest in zarakis squad so that puts him above pretty much every non captain in ss. It’s also obviously been kept a secret due to what he was saying himself and how Yumichika spoke about it. I wouldn’t say it’s that much of a stretch, and it’s fucking dope so I don’t see any problems here. |
