| Nami and Robbin aren't dumb. In fact they're pretty intelligent. Yet, no one in the anime realized Luffy wouldn't get shocked by Eneru's electricity until they literally saw it happening. Are you serious? I, and many others realized nearly the first episode he was introduced to be 'made of lightening' that Luffy would destroy him! Still no one in universe had the same thought? That's weird to me. I'm not sure if Oda thought it would be a big surprise to the audience, but it certainly was not and the lack of anyone in universe realizing it felt awkward and somewhat contrived. Are we serious, not even Robbin or Nami would have realized? Even before Luffy showed up, Nami could have thought about how 'I need to stall for time so Luffy can get here if he's still alive, he is rubber after all'. To be fair we never heard that Robbin didn't make that realization, she just didn't say it up front meaning I shouldn't insult her as much as I am for Nami's writing. That said, it was still an incredible scene! Luffy shows up, screaming and showing no respect for Eneru or his self proclaimed position of God, and in only a few moments denies all of the properties in which Eneru claims hold him above everyone else. Not unlike when Luffy told Arlong the difference between their races was jaws, or a nose! He is not afraid of Eneru proving that if "fear itself is God", then he is not God. He disproves his prophecy, and if God is absolute and always knows everything, as Eneru claims 'as long as it's happening in this nation he knows it', then he is not God. And he disproves the very notion that Eneru holds himself the highest for, that lightening is something that humans cannot even challenge and since he is lightening then therefore he is above all humans, but Luffy again proves that a human can challenge lightening, and if being unbeatable by humans makes you God, then he is not God. Eneru realizes all of this when the point blank attack that worked on Kamakiri doesn't even phase Luffy. He, who was blessed with luck rather than anything else, has been proved logically wrong and he can't deny it. You can see it in his face, he's no longer God on his own terms! I hope we get an explanation on why Luffy was able to physically hurt Eneru if he's made of lightening. He needed water to hurt Croc, and although Rubber may not conduct electricity, I don't think it can harm lightening purely on that fact... That's not even all. Conis had an epic display where she stormed past attacks via the White Berets and convinced the citizens to escape by risking judgement from Eneru himself. It reminded me of Koza speaking to the rebels during the Alabasta war, and it actually encouraged the White Berets to develop themselves as more than a joke group. This was a great episode. |

| I had such a great time watching this episode! I don't know how much has passed since I was so anxious about seeing an episode (and it's not because they are not good enough, it's just that the adult life makes your spirits heavier)!!! I laughed my soul out (if I can use such an expression)! It was so satisfying and fulfilling after all those episodes where I had to endure Luffy's stupid captivity and Enels' exploding ego. And I also, as just mentioned earlier in my previous post, enjoyed a lot Conis' strong attitude and demeanor! That was a happy surprise especially because it makes you feel like even normal people (without monstrous super powers) can make great things happen. I also liked that she was as brave as not to react badly in front of the stupidity of her own kind. When she disarmed herself she practically overwhelmed them with the power of her own will and belief. And I strongly think that this is the one thing that convinced them in the first place, and not the fact that no heavenly punishment came. |

| Conis was such a badass in this episode! I could watch her handle that bazooka like she was born to use it all day~ I'm impressed that she's managed to convince everyone to actually make a move instead of being praying sitting ducks. I hope that her hard work wouldn't go to waste. Eneru discovering that his almighty attacks don't do shit against the rubber man was golden. Luffy, kick his ass! |

| This arc would've been over quickly if Luffy wasn't inside the snake for a long time lol. All it takes is just one punch and it's over for Eneru. LOL!!! So satisfying to see the look on Eneru's defeated face. Who's the God now HUH?! Puahaha. Now that I think about it, Nami forgot about Luffy's existence for a sec there. I guess she really didn't leave any trail (using her waver) for him to follow... She was really saving herself? Ouch? The look on her face when she heard Luffy's voice was cute though. |

| it is just so amazing how even though this was the most predictable encounter yet between Luffy and Eneru, the way rubber doesn't conduct electricity, it was still so satisfying to watch it happen |
| Conis was a real badass this episode. Well done to her. And that White Beret leader managed to redeem himself. That was quite a turnaround. The fight between Luffy and Eneru seems more straightforward than expected.. hopefully things will get more interesting next episode That look on Eneru’s face though xD |

| The "Lightening vs rubber" realization JUST HIT ME when Eneru threw his second lightening attack. Just as I was rofling, the "DAMN DANIEL AR AR AR AR" face hit me and I lost it. Haven't laughed this hard in a long while |
