At least you'd get enough time to watch anime even after working at McDonalds. Think of the poor bankers who got no such time. |

Actually Japanese McDonalds are like night and day in comparison to our American ones. Clean place, friendly employees and lots of part-time students who are not like the welfare junkies you see working at our spots today. |

they must be in need for unqualified workers or students since japan doesn't have many foreigners. here in germany 90% of all mc donalds employees seem to be "fresh off the boat" and everything but the fries taste horrible in japanese mc donalds compared to those in germany. they also had a scandal about rotten chicken mc nuggets from china or something....tryed it once, never again |

Yup. A lot better than most other things ( which you don't wanna know -_-) And I agree with Kuma's and salt's post Summoning @Zombie_Pegasus here. He should have some actual knowledge about this. |

A lot better than most other things ( which you don't wanna know -_-) And I agree with Kuma's and salt's post Summoning @Zombie_Pegasus here. He should have some actual knowledge and this. As much as I liked working there, the lack of training mixed with the expectation to know how to do everything was a big problem (it wouldn't be at MacDonald's because they actually train their staff). I've heard that at Wendy's, a fast food restaurant more similar to MacDonald's, it gets very hot in the summer. Most people deal with this by filling a rubber glove with ice and putting it down their neck. I'm not sure what this has to do with anything, but the majority of the staff smoke weed, even the older staff. You can take that as being as relevant as you want. |

Calling the police on the crack whore soliciting outside the door and dealing with shit and vomit smeared all over the bathrooms is pretty fun imo. That said, I think Japanese McDonald's is better, or at least more socially acceptable than in America, where pretty much the only people who haven't hated on it once are nonexistent. |

Relevant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAcaeLmybCY That aside, the point I was trying to make is that working at Mickey Ds is exactly like working at Mosburger, Tully's, Lawson, Royal Host, or any kind of retail job you could find in Japan. They also care a lot about their work and the customer, and make sure that the store is clean and inviting. Its one of those coming-of-age places where u work until u graduate (like that girl's senpai) then u go out and get a real job…or maybe america just sucks. |

Part of the issue at play here, is that many fast food workers and others in similar positions, want to raise minimum wage to $15.00. Some cities have already past legislation and are working to this in incremental amounts for a few years. What there finding is that those same cities are starting to see job loss as many small businesses can't afford it. They could raise prices, but now they run the risk of losing their customers. Full automation would be a lot cheaper. |

Why Mickey D's when you can get baba goloug (am I saying that right??) or like $3 for an entire meal. Your food is amazing and your clove cigarettes are lit af (pun intended). Saw a McDonalds while we were in Kuta. Thing was like 2 stories and had neon lights. We didn't go in but there were shit loads of people outside. |
