| I've been trying to plan out my drawing for the upcoming Art Jam (theme = school), and so I started thinking about school uniforms and what kind I was going to give the characters in my drawing (assuming of course that I get it done on time)... Anyway, this led me to the thought of: What do you think are the (or some of the) best school uniforms in anime? ______________________________________ I decided to total a bunch up - I got way more responses in such a short time than I was expecting xD This will really help me as I ->attempt<- to sketch my picture. | My favourite are either the ones from Shinshi Doumei Cross or Vampire Knight. I think they are a lot more original (although they aren't standard Japanese school uniforms, considering the guys are wearing long coats and it looks very western influenced). |

| RELEASE THE PLAID!: Also: I''s Pure; Gatekeepers; St. Luminous Mission High School; Kamichama Karin; Cardcaptor Sakura; Kanon; D.N. Angel. Uniforms with lots of detail have been making the transition from manga/games to anime better these last few years, but the very best designs are probably going to still be found there. Here's a couple of ones I like from some games that never were able to make the transition (and have more or less disappeared from existence): |

| I liked Ashford Academy's (Code Geass) uniform too. The boys' uniform are not typical, and the girls' uniform are so stylish. I also like the uniform in Lovely Complex. It's so cute. EDIT: Forgot to include the ones in Ef - A Tale of Memories and True Tears. I especially like the True Tears one. |

| What's wrong with using the standard sailorfuku? When it comes to seifuku though, I prefer the more modern, Japanized western uniform.  A friend of mine from Kyoto used to wear seifuku like those worn in 『リンダ リンダ リンダ』 Linda Linda Linda when she was still in high school. I liked it a lot.  I suppose you'd only like to see drawn seifuku, but I don't watch a whole lot of anime, so I can't come up with any examples nor screenshots. There is bound to be someone here who can think of some resembling examples. |
