Considering it's huge franchise in Japan and vol.1 comes with event ticket, 19,973 for Kancolle vol.1 is pretty low and means the anime indeed have big issues. |

Totally expected FSN UBW to fall between 30~35k, as I had doubts it would even reach Fate/Zero levels. 2ch has predicted the 2nd season will do around 30k, so it is really spot on considering the 2nd season also had a drop for Fate/Zero. Good for Dog Days", as it performed very well at gamers as the previous seasons did. Although it is a drop from the previous seasons, which is a shame. D-Joe said: Considering it's huge franchise in Japan and vol.1 comes with event ticket, 19,973 for Kancolle vol.1 is pretty low and means the anime indeed have big issues. The anime is hated amongst the fans of the game and the light novel. It obviously would've done much higher than ~20k 1st week, if the anime was actually decent... but what can you do? I wish they didn't announce a sequel for it tbh, and that opinion is reflected in Japan too. |

Blu Ray + DVD 19,973 19,973 Kantai Collection: KanColle Vol.1 Limited Edition *4,977 *4,977 Shinmai Maou no Testament Vol.1 Fantastic sales for KanColle, just brilliant.Deserved in my book as well, I had no prior knowledge of the series (other than the numerous ero doujins I read) but still fell in love with it. Shinmai selling well also, great news, cannot wait for BURST. Both of these volumes were shipped yesterday, with the bank holiday weekend coming up it'll be a long wait for these beauties to arrive. Mahouka, SAO, Amagi, Cross Ange all staying very steady in sales which is good to see, all fab series that deserve their good sales. *8,200 *8,200 Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso Vol.2 Limited Edition A drop as expected but still deservedly high sales for it, one of the best series I've ever watched, can't wait for AoA's release IF it's a lush set. |

5 main aspects I base my ratings on: 1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it? 2. Is it better than Breaking Bad? 3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it? 4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL? 5. Is it actually good? Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant... |

I wish they didn't announce a sequel for it tbh, and that opinion is reflected in Japan too. |

You're right about the remake part, though I think I've yet to come across a single person claim that the movie version was superior to this TV series. |

I wish they didn't announce a sequel for it tbh, and that opinion is reflected in Japan too. Dude, did you know this has an event ticket bundled? So it is obvious where the majority of sales came from. If you actually read the rest of my post, the game and light novel fans in Japan hated the anime and do not want a sequel at all unless the staff is changed. Perhaps the rest who bought it (after the ones who obviously bought it for the event ticket) are people who were not originally game and light novel fans, who think the anime is worthy of their purchase and cannot see the flaws in the adaptation. But of course I will give the benefit of the doubt, and say there may be some fans who don't mind the obvious bad adaptation, but I assure you they are a minority, since over 56K unique people tweeted about KanColle during its airing run and not many were positive at all. I used to play KanColle, so it's not like I am some hater of the series at all. I just found the anime adaptation badly done, and a lot in Japan did too. |

Anyone can tell me what's a limited edition? Mushishi's sales is depressing. Good to know that the fans of the games/LN in Japan didn't like Kancolle's adaption, I thought the anime was meh, it could've been much better of course. |

There is no such thing as shit taste. Only idiots who think everyone should have the same taste as they do. |

I'm surprised F/SN did this well given how much inferior it is to its prequel. But I suppose nostalgia weighed in quite a bit on this success. |

This is the first time I've seen so many limited editions on the list. Many series don't even get Regular Editions. Nearly every single anime have a limited and a regular edition. This is nothing new, as in the past the lists used to omit "Limited Edition" because the Regular Editions rarely rank at all. Of course in the rare cases where both editions rank, then a distinction is made between the releases on the list. So I have no idea why MAL has recently been putting Limited Edition on everything, when everyone who follows sales already knows they are Limited Editions. |

Fate Stay Night. YES! Cross Ange and Amagi is doing decent. No Tokyo Ghoul blu ray? Really hope it sell well so we can get RE. I was enjoying season 2 a lot until that shit ending piss me off. |
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion. http://www.classzone.com/books/lnetwork_gr08/page_build.cfm?content=analyz_media&ch=30 It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist. |

Do you think it's possible for Shigatsu to get movie now? Or the score is not that good for this kind of adaptation. It's pretty good but I don't know if it's enough. Also I'm not a fan of this kind of readaptations, because they just want to milk cows, but I hope they would give it alternative ending or something more for this anime in particular. |

Well the sales for Vol 1 of Tokyo Ghoul Root A were given, considering how butchered it was. Japaneses fans are pretty much dissapointed in it. The only way Studio Pierrot can gain trust from fans is by animating Tokyo Ghoul Jack OVA really well. Anyways if you add the sales to season 1 it totals out by about 6K which is decent. Though the great thing is that the Merchandise is selling really well and it's getting a stage adaptation. Plus the Manga Vols are selling amazingly as well. |
