| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Some Sabertooth action and FT of course. I think action was decent although a bit too quick. And this episode also gave me the sort of ancient/mysterious island type of vibe. One of the better action packed fillers though. I think it's at least taking itself seriously in most parts. And damn, that water serpent wasn't kidding about attacking everyone. The island itself has a life so that had a fantasy feeling to it. | The action was quite grand-scale to not only have the two guilds but having artillery support to fight the sea serpent. Having ruins with an ancient civilization. Seeing a viral outbreak was quite refreshing too with Kemokemo being the protector of the island. Natsu and Kemokemo beating the sea serpent together. Kemokemo carrying out his duty, it was quick but still heartfelt :( The farewell with Kemokemo... I wish that the seed gave birth to a Kemokemo :O |

| Props to Lucy for figuring out the meaning of those ancient writings quickly. Although it would've been much easier if they had Levi with them. Kemokemo was a friggin' beast; owned that Sea Serpent and neutralized the virus at the same time! It was kinda sad to see him part ways along the island. Dat Milliana in the ending sequence though! :3 Decent episode to end the arc. Looking forward to Laxus-centered episode next week. This guy is pretty epic! |

| It's sad that Kemokemo had to stay at the island. He'll always be a part of Fairy Tail and the whole family. Goodbye Kemokemo, you will be missed. I love that end card of Milliana. Next week, it's Laxus' time to shine. |

| Maybe it's because I'm hormonal right now but DAMN THAT MADE ME CRY. I was surprised to know these last 2 episodes were adapted from a light novel... I wonder if episode 50 with Laxus' team is adapted from a special chapter from the manga. It seems like an original filler. |

| I really don't know why people hate these omakes and LN adapted episodes but goddamn I liked them so much. We got plenty Natsu x Lucy x Happy adventure all alone plus the Frosch, Juvia episodes were cute. Can't wait for Laxus episode, guy is badass AF. |

| The animation in this episode was very fluid, and in some parts, high-def! They usually always do that during a persons attacks though and I love it every time. I will admit, the ending had me shedding tears. I thought I held no emotional attachment for this thing that we had only saw for nearly 2 episodes, but I guess I was wrong. His last words just kinda got to me...and Natsu's struggle..yeah it bought tears to my eyes. A very refreshing episode that had me squealing in some parts. But here's a question—Where is Gajeel? Seems like the rest of the party is there and he wasn't invited. Another Question: WHEN WILL THEY BE DONE WITH THE FILLERS?!! I thought after they animated the light novel, we were gonna be back to the Sun Village arc. Guess I was wrong. I swear if it's not back to the main story by April...they better be prepared to receive some hate mail. We've been waiting nearly half a year! What was the point of the one year break, if your just gonna throw in another year of fillers and omakes? |

| I am tired of seeing Lucy, and Natsu (and Happy too) conveniently getting separated from others. At least let this be a team natsu arc. Mest is such a lolicon, always saving Wendy. xD Lucy was pretty cool there. Tbh I found Kemokemo's monologues slightly melodramatic but the dialogues at the end with Natsu were nice. Damn that Miliana fanservice at the end... All of my yes! |
