Is it too late to get into Naruto, Bleach and One Piece?

I think those shows were highly popular like a decade ago and no one cares about them anymore, and the people who used to be in the fandom are adults now.

Is it too late for someone to get into those shounen? is it a must watch for all anime fans?

I already seen Hunter x Hunter 2011.

Fire of all they're still popular and no it's never too late. One Piece is a definite must watch, Naruto to a point too, Bleach is give or take(first 60 episodes were great, rest was above average but the filler killed it).

No it's not too late.

BLEACH - manga is still ongoing and one of the best selling manga.
Season 2 should also be on it's way soon, catch up while you can, skip fillers if you want.
Don't listen to the other's opinions on Bleach, the naruto and one piece fanbase are prejudice against Bleach and they don't even have legit reason.
Amazing OST, story, fights and voice cast.

Naruto - about to end this year so skip fillers and watch it in one go.

One piece - good adventure/comedy/action series to marathon, almost no filler.

I don't think so. I read the entirety of DBZ when I was younger, so I think it should be perfectly possible to catch up with a shounen manga of comparable length.

I followed Naruto since my early teens and occasionally caught back up, recently dropping it for good around episode 360-ish of Shippuden. I think it's a pretty good show if you avoid the filler at all costs (See: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=350747). Even then, it's definitely faster to just read the manga if you're really interested and don't want to feel like you're marrying it.

Of course not these series are all still hot but with Bleach you have to keep in mind that it's been microwave defrosted.

No, its the other way around. You should be happy you can marathon the whole animes up to where they are now.

It's never too late to watch any anime/read any manga.

One Piece will take some time to catch up though seeing that it has 682 episodes and still counting. Same for Naruto with 619 episodes (Naruto and Naruto Shippuden combined) and still counting.

Obviously its not too late but in my opinion your time is probably better spent elsewhere, all three have very inconsistent quality with good parts and lots of mediocre and bad parts.

Watch Bleach.
And then wait for the 2nd season.

Naruto and one piece are way more shitty but tolerable.

I know theres an anime reviewer on youtub that when it comes to Naruto, he is an anime only watcher. So its fun to see that.

I can vouch for One Piece and Naruto, but have nothing to say about Bleach because I dropped it a third of the way through.

You do have the advantage of being able to skip through filler, and if you feel like they're not going anywhere you could always jump to something else since you've been focusing on them for so long.

I have never understood this line of thinking. If anything, waiting longer before watching these series would be preferable because then you'd have more episodes to watch and hence more content to enjoy. Unless actively participating in ongoing discussions of these shows is really really important to you and in that case, I'd recommend you just follow currently-airing shows instead because it'd take way too much effort catching up on the big 3.

You should definitely check them out. If you plan on skipping fillers, Naruto and Bleach aren't too bad. One Piece is for the most part filler free. When it does go into filler, it usually only lasts 10 episodes at the most.

Of course you need to see if any of them really strike your interest because as you can see with some of the comments here, not everyone who likes one of these shows necessarily likes the others. You may love Bleach but not care for Naruto, or whatever.

I recommend you marathon through the first 50 episodes of each. It sounds like a lot but its shonen. It goes by quick. If you skip the intro, the recap, and the outro, you have only about 15-20 mins of show. I started watching One Piece a year and a half ago and I'm already half way caught up. If I wasn't watching other stuff, I'd be even further. I'm at the point where it's just epicness all the time so I can't go to sleep without knocking out a handful of One Piece episodes. But before I jumped in, I felt the same way you did. "Is it too late to get into One Piece? They are over 600 episodes ahead of me (it was on the Punk Hazard arc when I started). I can never catch up." But I'm watching it a little every day and I am absolutely in love with the series.

Like everybody is saying it's never too late.

I recently started with Naruto. To be honest I think it's better to start now with those long ongoing series. This way you can have long marathons ^^, meaning all the story will be fresh in your mind and you won't forget important stuff of the story.

Every anime you just named are still pretty popular from what I've seen. For example, I grew up watching DBZ and there are still plenty of people who love it. I think any younger anime fan would love them, they are the classics after all.

I think it is even better to start with DBZ, and THEN go ahead with NAruto, One Piece and Bleach. You'll understand a lot of things.
And it is not about being in trend or somehting. These titles symbolize a specific genre in shounen and this genre most likely will stay that way for quite some time.

Neither is worth watching if you make that kind of direct comparison.
