I'm not sure. I consider that you can call a genre a tag that a manga has that is not a demographic in MAL. Other participants can definitely weigh in here though! As for a manga about food, I haven't read any that I recall, but Yakitate!! Japan has been recommended to me before, though it's a bit long. That said, I checked your blog entry and I must say that Pluto is not by Osamu Tezuka. Although he is listed as a writer, he had no involvement in the series. He was credited as a writer because the manga is based on a story by him, but it was done by Urasawa Naoki. |
