(but seems like there's the cake that she made on the table, or probably because she ate the cake that she really did see it as dream) with "Maro" world. There's also a new Maro born. lol @ the conversation between her and each guys with Maro. |

| Finally, some of the marshmallow characters got some much-deserved screen time. When Gilbert said, "Bonjour mademoiselle", it was very noticeable that his French sounds extremely strange. It sounded almost nothing like Paris-style French, which is normally considered to be the national standard. However, France has many regional accents and dialects. One example are people from the northern tip of France, right at the border with Belgium, close to the city of Lille. They speak a dialect called "Ch'tis". Perhaps there is someone here who is familiar with the regional language variation of France who can tell us where Gilbert seems to be from. |

| According to the official website for the series, there are eight marshmallow characters, described here: http://www.bonkoi.com/character/index_maro.html If you right-click on any of the eight "maro" pictures, you can download it as a 165x160 "png" image. It looks like it would be just about perfect for a MAL or Twitter avatar image. I guess you'd have to shrink it down just a bit. MAL forum avatars are allowed a maximum size of 100 x 125 pixels. | It's astounding to see that way that Sawako Hata has exploded into the world of voice acting. Yes, as Tsubasalover pointed out, she used to be in AKB48. So of course it was a no-brainer that she would be able to get hired for the anime series AKB0048. However, her next project was "Beyond the Boundary" (境界の彼方), where she voiced SIX different minor roles! Since then, she has routinely been doing leading roles. She is busy with tons of stuff, and I guess "Bonjour Koiaji" is a small side project for her. However, her remarkable background lays to rest all of my doubts that a single voice performer could do a proper job of voicing eight main characters in one series. To my knowledge, that is the most ever for main characters in a series. Note that the eight marshmallows are "main" characters since they are featured on the "character page" on the official website. Question: "Shawako" was born in Osaka. Do the marshmallows speak with a noticeable Kansai-ben accent? |

| Isn't each Maro there to match a main character's personality or that's only me? Sayuri: Maro (Vanilla) Ryo: Oremaro (Orange) Gilbert: Kurimaro (Chestnut) Yoshinosuke: Budomaro (Grapes) Mitsuki: Minmaro (Mint) Ibuki: Ichigomaro (Strawberry) Jin: Ramumaro (Lemon) There's even this set of cute keychains to match Maros with main characters. However the strawberry Maro appeared in this episode is somehow different in colors, it's like a mix between the strawberry+vanilla Maro. Also game seems to feature two more maros/flavors, macaroon & matcha. |
