Hahah nope
No matter what VRMMO game he goes into, he'd still have that harem skills. Asuna better keep a closer eye on Kirito in the future though ;)

Interesting episode. I liked the flashback from SAO.
Dang, Kirito won again. Again.
Seems like Kirito is a total girl magnet, but he doesn't know it. :D

Decent episode. 3/5. Good, but nothing too spectacular. The fight scenes felt like they lacked something though.

So his trauma comes from the fact that he knows there cpuld be people who kill in his VRMMO and not because he himself actually killed people (in a VR)? Huh, okay. That's understandable for a Kirito, I guess. But the trauma of taking a life should be there also, regardless of what his or their motives were. Especially if you consider that Kirito doesn't dissociate his real self and actions from his online ones.
And as for episode 24, in my books there's hardly a difference between someone who's capable of consciously and methodically torture someone to the point of permanently incapacitating them (when your waifu is in chains, naked, watching & waiting for you to be finished) and a murderer in terms of nastiness level.
Did I mention him eating players, already?

No, actually, I'm pretty sure that he has some kind of trauma over that incident and having to kill people. I'm not sure if this was the point, but at some point in the LN's Kawahara explores this.

Though as it's been pointed out, he's inconsistent at times. Kirito feels no guilt over Sugou and gets over Kuradeel pretty fast.

He does suffer multiple breakdowns over Kuradeel, but PTSD has word POST for a reason - his PTSD slowly develops through ALO and SAO but only really shows up in full AFTER that since with the end of ALO he is truly "Free" from SAO events in his mind(since ALO is continuation of the same incident for him). Only after ALO ends his brain starts to fully process what happened and he clearly flashbacks to Kuradeel too as shown this episode.

I actually found the whole 'attacking the PK guild in SAO' really interesting. I don't think the assault was mentioned in the first season (if it was, I would've totally forgotten anyways) but I like how it shows an emotional impact on Kirito. Best character development in this show.
Shows how it's not easy to kill someone, even if it means protecting your own life. I also love how it connects with Sinon and her life story.

He didn't kill them to protect his own life. He killed them because he wanted to protect innocent peoples, especially Asuna. It was pointed in V1.

so from this episode, we can conclude that he killed 2 people when they got ambushed by the laughing coffin guys. That's 2 laughing coffin plus 1 from the first season the he kill from the same organization; the guy that poisoned the water and he had to kill him or the other guy would of killed asuna.

With this, he has gotten PTSD and is afraid that he might kill someone again in the VR and that they will die in RL. am i right?

The laughing coffin raid from SAO was nice, whether it was added in GGO or just skipped from the first season

Kirito did got kind of traumatized by Death Gun after that conversation, but he reached the finals of BoB with his masterskills just like Sinon

The last match was insteresting with a sniper versus melee, sadly Kirito didn't care about it
I guess he'll be stuck in GGO for a long while

In anime we only see one(alongside his monologue afterward to asuna of not caring about his life, and break down there). In LN its mentioned more and majority of ALO and SAO arcs is pretty much Kirito freaking out over what he had to do in SAO and whether he will survive(in ALO its more about him failing to grasp that he has escaped SAO already and only slowly realizing it after Asuna is freed), similar style how it was done this episode.

Blame inaccurate adaptation.

I don't have anything much to say about this show really. 2 characters going through psychological "traumas" of killing people in the past but the thing really holding this psychological thing back is the idea that they are playing in a game in a virtual world which makes this whole concept seem kind of laughable in a way.

Like shit, gotta do what I gotta do. Self defense first before thinking about that you just killed someone.

The duel scene seems very uhh.. awkward. Or just Kirito throwing someone into his pit of girls in his harem.

I kind of like this psychological thing and hopefully they play this shit out throughout more of the series because I find that much more interesting than this Death Gun piece of ass but that's just me. The idea that someone is sitting behind their computer and playing this (or in sleep mode idk) just makes this all the funnier to me though.

Final/Random Thoughts: Still cannot get over how amazing Shino's eyes look in GGO like DAYUM CUH.

Except they are NOT sitting behind their computer. Its VR

Even in our world we already have technology that fools your brain into interpreting what you see as reality(Case in point: Oculus Rift which already is in high level of making people believe things to the point that if you play rollecoaster demos while standing your brain will cause vertigo because of conflicting sensory information) and SAO showcased technology ties directly into your brain, simulating it onto even higher level.

Kirito being the ultimate badass hero that destroys everything in his path. How boring! Apart from that the episode was decent but not sth to go crazy about as the whole series. I don't get how I got attached to this anime. Maybe cause of Asuna and now that she isn't here for now I feel it's very mediocre. In geberal if it wasn't for Asuna the series would be pointless. *Asuna fanboy detected*

I don't remember the first one at all. From your description it seems you're talking about something that happened before the Kuradeel incident, and it was him freaking out over Sachi.
And Kirito didn't freak out nor talked about not caring about his life after he killed him: he just kissed Asuna and swore to protect her (then a few hours later, in the evening the whole misunderstanding about what he said and Asuna punching him followed). Afaik Kuradeel was never brought up again after episode 10.

So wait? In ALO he experiences joy for kicking peoples asses clearly, but now all of a sudden he has PTSD?

I really think the lack of proper build up for it is what makes it really unbelievable. And yeah the events after he killed Kuradeel never implied it had any effect on him.

And yeah I think the problem with SAO story structure is it does stuff, then explains later. Feels kinda cheap really.

Well a good mystery gives you clues, so that the audience can figure it out before the detective or whoever explains everything (you read umineko knox rules man xD). Or a good mystery doesn't explain anything but still provides all the clues.

I'm mainly talking about how they explain how Kirito is so OP and how he's able to do OP things. Though to be honest, they might as well not do that, because it's pretty much a given that he's OP and any explanation is basically redundant.

Kirito is such a gentleman : ''Hey babe, I killed three man. Wanna make out?''
Damn, you're making her so aroused that she'll end up friendzoning her friend. Being a friend in SAO is hard...

Also, [b]DAMNIT SINON, FOR A MLG PRO SNIPER #SWAG, U SUCK[/]
No, seriously though, I know you were mad, but a sniper doesn't miss a shot like this, no matter if your adversary is bluffing or mocking you. You will lose all credibility.

And so, we know the truth about desu gun, a true desu. Desu guild in SAO, desu gun in GGO.

So Kirito is still traumatized by SAO. Well, I guess that make sense. He killed people, no matter how we look at it.

GGO mechanics are based all around player response

IF Sinon's heart is beating too fast or she is anxious she WILL miss no matter how good her aim and skills are.

Well, that was surprisingly good episode! I liked this psychological drama. They also went through those fights pretty fast, cutting the boredom which was great choice. And finally, they started reflecting on those horrors Kirito went through, no way he would went through everything without a scar. His helplessness was portraited well. And Sinon nearly lost it there, during that in-fight conversation with Kirito. Yes, we are still talking about SAO with all its flaws but I clearly see they are trying to go with different approach and I like that.

The only thing that felt little weird was that they both forgot those matches are broadcasted online - and they were talking about their intimate things with thousands of viewers watching them. But blame that on spur of the moment (and they really didn't say that much). Kirito's skill was over the top again but well, it's Kirito so it's to be expected (and it wasn't anything too gamebreaking so I am fine with that).

I don't know who Death Gun is, but he managed to scare Kirito senseless. I really wonder what those people playing as Laughing Coffin even gained in SAO... killing players and choosing death over surrender, who does that except lunatics?

Anyway, this episode just amplified my hate for AWP campers. I'm glad Kirito owned Sinon, and he was a smartass about it as well, lol.

Very good episode.

Didn't expect a throwback to the first season. Well seeing, Kirito actually killing somebody besides that backstabbing bodyguard of Asuna's was surprising. Sure, either kill or be killed, but still...Also, this flashback/guilt/whatever finally gives Kirito some sort of depth - doesn't change the fact that he's naturally still overpowered though.
Also, watch where you're groping pal, you already are off the market. Sinon's reaction was cute though xD

Bad episode. The sniper girl is now confirmed part of Kirto's harem. This show is really doesnt know how to write characters. The whole last scene was utter dog shit, I guess this is what I should've expected once I gave the series another chance. Btw there was no reason for Kirto to be holding her that close and her reaction is typically, way to ruin the shining light of the season so far.
