| so recent i have been watching anime really slowly and it is bugging i find myself always pausing anime to go look at MAL or listen to some beats/music. i know that i have ADHD i was diagnosed but it was never serious... and yet now it making watch anime so hard. D: so do any of you have similar problem while watching anime? (this is partly why i am getting a second monitor... :3) so yeah do you stop anime randomly in the middle of something to go do something else i find that i pause a lot in intensely embarrassing moments because i just am like "doh!! what are you doing." -_- side. note. G+ is amazing come add me if you want. at my G+ don't use FB because that isn't hip. p.s. idk if this is the right place maybe anime discussion but this is kinda while doing anything. |

| Sometimes I pause whatever I'm watching because I need to do something else for a bit but it's not really something I like making a habit of. I prefer sitting through it uninterrupted, although if it's longer than an hour I'll usually take breaks to stretch my legs. |

| I never do it while watching an anime. I might get distracted in between episodes though. So usually if I actually want to marathon a show I make sure to watch it on my tv and not my computer. I can't really imagine pausing an anime to go check on MAL or something, why even go and watch the anime then? |

| I drink a lot of water. Yep. Water. Because I can't stand just... sitting and watching. I at least have to do something, I think. But nothing too tedious like handicraft or writing that it takes away my focus. Which is another bad habit. My focus tends to get diminished easily. And then I naturally have calls of nature and have to take trip after trip even when I haven't passed one episode yet. |

| I never had it happen to me that I paused an episode I was watching to browse forums instead, but I can see why others would do it. If you have a short attention span it's hard to keep yourself focused on what's happening, especially if you might be watching a slow paced anime... OP, I advise you not to watch Serial Experiments Lain and Texhnolyze. These are the slowest paced series I've seen in a while haha. But I myself do have times where I'm starting to get to the end of an episode and I just WANT the episode to end already, because it's boring me to bits. Then, after I finish the episode, I immediately click away the player and start browsing MAL for example. Finally, by the time I want to start the next episode I completely forgot what happened previously, forcing me to look up a short summary of the latest episode so I won't be confused as to where the story left off. |
