| Okay so Takeshi's brother is mad at him because he's dating Kurumi. That was two years ago. Now he's even faking to his mom about making up with his brother so he can (possibly) join him wherever he is. Cut to scene where he's all "I'm evil, I'll get my revenge." That's just stupid >___< Something annoys me about Mui. I can't quite put my finger on it but it's just that every time she's onscreen I just can't help but cringe. To anyone who has read the LN, please spoil me. |

| This series is so incredibly bad it's hilarious and I'm gonna continue to follow it. Art-wise, it's a huge improvement from the inconsistencies last week, but character interaction-wise this series is absolutely shallow. There's not even much of a debate about it. From first episode of being cold, Mui went from dere to full on in love in two episodes with minimal setup. The false romance drama. Please. I lol. |

This! Forced drama everywhere... Tbh I don't know what to think while watching this episode. What I do know is I hate MCs like Takeshi who has very little personality and emotion. Mui might be the main heroine but she's just so boring and obviously much less attractive compared to Isoshima. |

| Okay, this was an episode with multiple faults, but several positives as well: Pros: LOL the witch girl who does the previews. Mui's adorable as usual. Kurumi looks cute in the picture she gave to Takeshi. More information on the magic communities. Character development, albeit not amazing but it explains the backstories of Takeshi and Kurumi. Lolita complex, lol. Boob conversation was best conversation of this episode. That was some nice fanservice there. Never noticed Mui's breasts were that large... Mui's fantasy of Takeshi offering to massage her breasts to make them bigger was hilarious / cute. Cons: Okay what the hell was that backstory of Kurumi's. She should just take self-defense lessons instead of asking for a fake relationship with Takeshi to protect her from boys. Plus, trying to get him to fall in love with her and be her real boyfriend by making him act as her fake boyfriend is a horrible way to go about that. Gekkou has an absolutely idiotic reason to hate Takeshi. "Girl I like likes my brother and I got hit by a car because of my own carelessness due to anger from finding this out, now I will kill him and become one of the antagonists of this series" Seriously? The blonde guy who causes explosions has no part in this story whatsoever, so far at least. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Right now this series is basically something to watch for enjoyment, but I hope they get into the actual plot starting with the next episode and the return of Mui's brother. Him vs Takeshi will be fun to watch based on how the action scenes have been handled so far, and we'll finally get to see some real magic battles. Also, the OP/ED (especially the ED) are so addicting! On one final note... Takeshi x Mui! <3 |

| I just keep wondering when did this anime turn into another love drama? Wanted to see some magic and action, but apparently it's not gonna happen here. Animation is quite poor as well, so 1-2 more episodes and i will be giving up on it, i guess. |

| So the hatred between the MC and his family is based on some coincidences, loli suddenly grew a pair of tits and transformation magic apparantly changes the user into a fanservice outfit but does nothing else. Even Isoshima fanservice can't make up for how bad this is.^^ |

| I never drop a series once I start watching. If I can watch Diabolic lovers I can certainly live through this. Hopefully since everything was forced so early maybe it'll smooth out through the rest of the series. |

| People want the thing to get intense with fight and shit all this early when there a tense feeling towards the characters,if suddenly start a battle and comes flashbacks in middle of battle everyone complain if them try to explain the past of the characters first for when shits get real the battle will do not have the flashbacks only the talk them complain too,what you people want o.o |

| Well, this episode was OK. But, seriously? The back story with Gekkou was superficial at best, and ridiculously weak at worst, I mean come on! "You cockblocked me with a chick that doesn't even want anyone but you, I'm going to hate you forever man!", that kind of logic is just stupid. And that brings me to Kurumi, bitch needs therapy, a spine, and self-defense lessons. A pretend boyfriend who only sees her as a friend, not the same thing. She's petty, selfish, and unreasonable. You can't force a dude to love you by making him pretend to be your boyfriend because you're afraid of boys, and you can't keep holding on to him when he's obviously falling for someone else. And finally, what's up with the blonde kid with the fire magic? We've not seen shit about him since it said his name in the first episode, well other than the fact that can't focus and probably needs Ritalin. Overall, I'll give this episode 5/10. This is still my favorite anime of the season, but this episode was boring, bland, and the back story/drama reaked of superficial nonsense. I hope next week is better with the return of traitor brother guy who is also too unimportant to remember so far. Takeshi x Mui = way better than Takeshi x Kurumi! Just throwing that out there for shippers insisting on him hooking up with the petty, selfish, weakling with the boob magic. Wow, a boob with boob magic, now that's irony! |

| Well I wasn't thinking much and in a rush when I wrote my review last night, so I went back and re-wrote it today. Looking forward to the next episode where the plot will hopefully begin to develop some more. |
| From this episode the things I took away from it are the fact that I dislike Kurumi's character even more, and apparently Mui has been hiding a nice rack this whole time. I usually vote for the special girl in a love triangle because the friend normally ends up getting friendzoned anyway, but Kurumi's personality made this decision pretty easy. A lot of people are upset about Gekkou hating Takeshi for basically cockblocking him, but you guys are forgetting the end of that scene where it appears that Takeshi accidentally pushed Gekkou into a car. So his anger does run a little deeper than losing a crush. His whole family is weird to begin with though; is he like adopted or something? He just doesn't fit with them at all! As of now, I'm hoping with the way the pace of this so is going that there will be more than 24 episodes. It's kind of slow now but I'm enjoying the fact that things are actually taking the time to develop properly. They're taking the time to get the character development in and show them learning how to use magic rather than throwing them at the main villain right away. The other reason I would like the series to be longer is due to the lack of explanation for all the terminology and events that have been thrown at us so far. Like all the different magic categories. They gave us Acceleration, Corporeal, Destruction, Evasive, and Black Magic? Maybe like 2 more I forgot. But what do each of those really do? Does Takeshi's only let him dodge things or can he manipulate it? Does Corporeal magic only let you change your tit size or is it useful? Does Destruction have other elements besides fire? WTF does Black Magic do? Then what about the historical events so far; who was the guy who almost destroyed the world? Who was the prior owner of Takeshi's sword? What about the 7 communities; who are the important people in each and what do they represent? I feel like with the way the story is progressing they have a lot of potential to develop a really good main story and back story and I hope they don't just rush into the story and mash a ton of random things into the remaining episodes. |

| Yay for dumping the tsundere blonde bitch! Mui is a much better partner for our hero. Honestly I hated Isoshima by a quarter of the way through the episode, and had decided to root for Best Girl Mui to make Takeshi hers. Then I find out that they weren't even dating to begin with, the shitty bitch was just using him to keep other guys away. I guess that would explain why Mui was his first kiss even though he's dating Worthless Tsundere Girl. I have zero sympathy for her and wish she would just die. Unfortunately the writers don't share my antipathy (probably because it's their own bad writing making her so annoying) and had a lot of blah blah blah scenes between them which I mostly skipped. Apparently they're going to maintain the charade after all because Takeshi sucks ass. I will be THOROUGHLY pissed if Takeshi doesn't end up with Mui. I'm tempted to spoiler it for myself just so I can decide whether to drop this show or not. |

I noticed the "accident" part of that flashback, but between the pacing of the scene, the rapid cut aways, and how quickly they moved away from it; I'm just not really sure what happened there. I couldn't tell who "pushed" who, or if the "push" was one trying to save the other. So, I'm ignoring it until I have more info. lol |
