| This ending was meh, nothing really happened and it was just like another regular ep. I needed moreeee but I guess it was cool that Rea let her instincts take over and jumped onto him. This anime was good and I really Rea as well as Ranko. But some of the episodes did get a bit too dull for me, guess I just had too high of an expectation about this anime in the beginning. Time to get started on the manga. |

| Apparently they're rather confident in getting a second season? Even if the manga is ongoing, most adaptations seem to at least try and put a cap on their 12-episode arcs, no matter how trivial.. Unless that's going to be the responsibility of the OVA. I do wish they'd better-delved into at least one of the countless mysteries they've established. |
| I'm assuming they're already working on a 2nd season after this kind of ending. Gotta say, this anime was pretty bad. It started out very well, then the fillers hit it hard and then there wasn't enough time for any sort of ending. Disappointing. |

| This ending, that was so bad it sucks balls. This show had potential, but instead all they did was show fanservice. The ending ruined it for me, could've been 7/10, but I'll rate it 5/10. If a second season comes, I might watch it just to see what happens. |

| Once again it is emphasized what a burden it actually is to have a beautiful yet somewhat helpless girl suddenly falling into your lap. Overall it was a nice closure to a solid series. |

| WTF? That is an Ending..... This anime was quite the ride. There were pretty exceptional episodes like episode 2, and episode 10. And there were bad episodes like episode 7, and there is this shitty ending. Also Wanko being annoying bitch. Final Episode Score - 2.5/5 Series Score - 8/10 -> 7/10 |

| I really hope there's a season two of this. Preferably one that isn't flashback-ish, because this episode, it showed that he was reminiscing while writing in the Undead Journal, as evidenced by the blood from his cheek that dropped onto the page, before it showed the after effects of the bite. Definitely a good ending to the series. Hopefully the OVA adds more, and also, hopefully there is a second season, once the manga gets longer. I want to know more about why the Grandpa knew the zombie formula, who Mero and Chihiro's mom was, and what happens to Rea. |

| aah that Bite was probably one of the most important thing in whole series right after the rediscovering of zombie elixir and bite's meaning was not reveled at the end (e.g. it helps her to maintain her body) and there are no signs of second season too. It would be nice if second OVA would be ep13. Also I hope this show will have second season. It deserves one. Sent with Mal Updater 9/10 overall |

| I don't like open-ending , but i have to admit it that one was nicely done. However, it make me want to see a sequel and i really think it deserve (but also need) a 2nd season x_x Well, at least there is always the manga \o/ |
| "I don't want to have any regrets." I liked this episode. They also kept the good looking artistic visuals up to this point. The dialogue scene with Chihiro and Rea back in the abandoned bowling alley was nice. Though this episode was largely anime-original, I don't think it derails the story to endanger future chances of adapting more material from the source. There was no strong sense of closure; but I believe it implied an intention not to end it all here. A strong signal to me that there is an intention for a sequel in the future. There's still much more to come, after all. I'm a bit let down that I didn't get to see that iconic (well, to readers) "morning bicycle ride" scene get animated yet, though. I have high hopes for a sequel in the future. Because I too, don't want to have any regrets. |

| Boring end to a very mediocre show. Sankarea never really took advantage of it's interesting set up. Instead it opted to be a mediocre rom-com with a dose of strangeness that never really fit the feeling of the anime. This could have been a bitter sweet love story but instead chose to go the cutesy cliche route of so many other anime romantic comedies. There were so many wasted characters here and wasted opportunities. Ranko in particular was a huge waste of space. She could have been interesting as the more human choice for the Chihiro instead she was just a boring fanservice character that served no other purpose other than to fill up some air time with her played out antics. Which is the way most of this anime went. Every episode was the same romance cliches piled together until the last minute where it would throw in something shocking to try and fool the viewer that they were watching something fresh and unique. On the other hand the animation and art style weren't bad, and the actual plot while very generic was handled decently. Overall this wasn't a terrible anime but it a very mediocre one. 5 out of 10 |

| Ok ending 8/10 and well the whole series overall was pretty good altough I was always disgusted by Rea's father and at some point by Furuya wtf was up with him filming her all the time it kinda felt as if he was doing the same as Rea's father .... and the relationship never really developed it kinda even worsen Rea tough Furuya only liked her cuz she was a zombie that's all not because of her I wish Furuya wasn't so useless, if there's a season 2 they really gotta fix that, but well anyways liked the ending it was pretty cute lol that bite showing that Rea had finally given in to ger hunger. Well can anyone tell me if the manga is worth reading? |

| Can someone explain why exactly this was a terrible finale? Tons of anime have ambiguous endings that don't wrap anything up or bring in new ideas for future possible seasons. What made this one so terrible? |

| Hmm liked the anime, 8/10, usually i hate love triangles but this one was okay. Wonder if he'll ever choose girl (like with macross frontier). Does the anime follow the manga completely? and if so at which chapter does the anime end? thanks! |
| Pretty good, pretty good! I don't have any serious complaints about how this anime was, but I have to admit I'm a biiit disappointed, probably because I liked the manga so much more. IF there just happens to be a second season sometime, I just might forgive how they ended this anime too soon ^^ If this was as good as the manga is, I would most likely rate Sankarea as 10/10, but sadly that isn't the case, so 8/10 :) Either way, I really much enjoyed watching this, too bad it ended so soon~ Just when the story was getting good too... |

| I'll have to start reading the manga! yay x3 I wonder if they're going to do a 2nd season... because it all depends on the sells of the anime, or if the anime was actually following the manga or ended as a filler ending (but to me it looks like its supposed to be a big hint for a second season) But either way, I'm gonna start reading the manga |

| Just can't believe this show got so popular. I watched it while it was airing which was just a few months ago and it's already ranked at #921 at the moment. Maybe anime nerds (not to offend anyone) just really have a thing for zombies. |
