| I really liked the Shafty style experiments and the key points of the story seriously packed more punch than they did in the manga. But still. draker said: This, to a T.It was an enjoyable series overall with a good story, but it had too many pointless episodes and Wanko being fucking annoying the whole time, and the ending is too random. 7/10 |

| That was a horrible ending, giving it a 7/10 since it had some filler eps while it's only 12 eps long and also due to the ending not having a good conclusion. |

| I don't think there will be a second season since the manga get less interesting every volume i read imo...but the beginning for Sankarea has the most interesting story compare to all the on-going Anime I watched this season . The ending is quite good even thou its different compare to the manga but still, this Anime is just slightly above average in my list . |

| Lots of ups and downs. I'm having a hard time between 6 and 7. This episode I really liked, I'm glad they didn't work to make me hate Ranko, but instead gave me more reasons to like her ~ Still, there have been quite a few episodes of the show that just didn't catch my attention very well. So, between a 6 and 7 for me. I'm leaning towards a 6, so I'll go with that I guess. Everything's ending, it's pretty sad... |

| The anime was fun to watch...but im really unsatisfied with that ending. I liked the part with Wanko and Rea tlking bout their feelings but the final moment in the bowling alley was not enough for an end for me. I guess if we get a 2nd season it wouldn't be that bad but i just feel like it dropped of unfinished. |
| Although this episode wasn't much of a finale, it still works rather well as simply a really good episode, while also having a pretty exciting cliffhanger of sorts that leads into a potential second season quite nicely. The story was thoroughly interesting, and I wish that a little more time had been spent developing it a bit more fluidly. Many of the characters were quite good, particularly Rea and Mero. On top of that, Chihiro wasn't offensively bad like most MC's, and I rather enjoyed watching his unique, yet natural relationship with Rea unfold. The main faults I have with the show were most noticeable during some of the middle episodes. Wanko is a terrible, useless character, and the episodes that prominently featured her were considerably diminished in quality because of it. The direction lost a bit of it's creativity and Shaft-like nuance following the first several episodes until picking up once more towards the end. There was also a tendency for the story to meander quite a bit at spots, but, thankfully, it was never much of a problem. Despite somewhat faltering following the brilliant beginning, the show rebounded quite a bit over the last several episodes. I'm very interested in a second season, and really hope it gets one. Overall, this anime deserves a very enjoyable 8/10. |

| i'd give it a 7/10 I liked the premise, but felt like it had pacing issues, and didn't do all too much with the characters and story. I enjoyed it overall though. |

| 8/10 Enjoyable anime. The romance was cute. It also played with feelings rather well. At first I was rooting for Rea, then for Wanko, then for Rea and at the end, I was conflicted. Wasn't sure who to root for. The characters were well done for the most part. Mero was one of the best. Chihiro was ugly, though he was a decent character. I would have probably given it a 9 if it had an actual ending. The OP & ED were average. It's way too open, ends too abruptly and NEEDS a second season given that ending. |
| This episode gave a glimpse of responsibility that comes with having to look after someone. It really weighs on the person. This time Wanko played it less bitter but I guess I prefer rivals going more head to head. (Rea was a total win in yukata, btw) I thought it was over for Rea at the last scene but looks it's just her getting out of control, which makes things a lot more interesting. Overall, I think it started off really well, one of the best this season but something felt out of place later. Still I enjoyed it and would definitely watch if they come up a sequel. |

| OVA 2 comes out September 28th and is bundled with the 7th volume of the manga. I am pretty sure this series will get a second season regardless of sales. Kore wa Zombie desu ka had pretty terrible sales (avg = 3,200 copies) and still got a second season. Usually people say that anime need to average around 6,000 copies per volume to be profitable and warrant a second season. Keep in mind that both Kore we Zombie desu ka and Sankarea are done by Studio Deen. As for the episode, I think it was pretty good. I agree that it was a bit of a cliffhanger but hopefully the OVA in September clears some of that up as we wait for a season 2.. If you read the manga like what other people have been saying you would be a bit further in the story. The anime still has yet to introduce some interesting plot devices such as the character Darin or the different zombie phases. It touched base on the zombie phases if you looked at Rea's dad's tablet when he was taking off in his private jet (he was looking at a site similar to wikipedia). I think a second season would be amazing for this show because I feel that the manga has gotten more interesting every chapter. There is more relationship stuff between Furuya and Rea as well as drama and conflict. I'm particularly interested in how the manga will end. Will Furuya be able to save Rea? Will he have a happy or tragic ending? I am really hoping for the happy ending because I tend to hate tragic ends. |

| Really entertaining series. Hopefully we get a 2nd season or an OVA or something to tie up all of the loose ends. It ended on a cliffhanger so there should be something to make us feel better. RIGHT?! |

| 8/10 overall Episodes 1-7 was a 9/10 for me. But IMO, it progressively got worse from there, but it was still entertaining to watch. Didn't really like the ending, loved the bite. |
| One of the better series this season, although some episodes can be a bit slow and certain side characters are poorly developed. The main characters made this show enjoyable for me and I do hope for a season 2. 7/10 |

| For me, I think this was adapted really good. Though, it doesn't feel like an ending, this episode. but this is still a favorite of mine. I will be waiting if it gets a season 2! Since big bias to manga, big bias to anime too, thus I rate it 10/10. |

| Hopefully a season 2 is made, the ending seemed to imply it. The use of lighting in this series was stunning, and this episode especially reflected that. I enjoyed the more depressing mood of this episode and the ending has me intrigued (what a fucking weird place to end it), so I would tune in to a s2 for sure. 7/10. nothing special but decent |

| Nice to see Rea and Wanko getting along better. Pretty unrealistic how they just accepted eachother as friendly rivals but ok. Didn't like to see Rea's step mother not giving a damn about her again though. I really hope there'll be a sequel now. I mean it had such an abrupt end. She bit him and she'll be going to school again, so I'd really like to see what'll happen next! I really liked the setting and the way the series portrayed it's characters. I mean the fact that it really bothered me how Sanka got treated and the fact that I wanted to rip Danichirou's throat out until the second to last episode means a lot. An 8/10 from me. |

| I doubt that a zombie bite from Rea will turn Chihiro into a zombie since this is a case of agressively working to create a zombie (via the potion that she took in a suicide attempt) rather than the viral contamination that usually precipitates a zombie apocalypse. On the other hand it is a great device to move us along into some of the material that has reportedly been in the manga but not the anime (have only read a couple of early chapters). I'm looking forward to season 2 when we get some more source material to work with. I thought that this was a good way to end season 1--not really a cliffhanger, since we saw Chihiro with a bandage on his face writing in his zombie journal--but it brought to mind the inherent sadness of falling in love with someone who has only a limited amount of time left. As usual, my eyes were moist when the ED started up. I don't think we'll necessarily get a conclusion via the OVA either. My money would be on a side story or supplementary material rather than an anime only end. What a season! Rea, Yuuko, and Urabe: if I ever got a gothic harem together, they would be in it. |

| You can tell they dragged the series out for the 12 episodes. :/ It seems Rea's moe power was effective on a lot a MAL users but not enough for me to rate it high. 6/10 |
| I liked the ending, I guess we could possibly see a season 2 in the future? Am I the only one who wanted a kiss between Rea and Chihiro? Ah well, now he'll become a zombie like her. x) 10/10, attaching characters and heartwarming anime with an interesting an addictive storyline. :) |
| very enjoyable series with some good strong early episodes wished a little more happened and i hope it gets a S2 or at least a few OVAs 8/10 lol though the ending i was expecting Chihiro to become a zombie but it looks like its getting to that point! |
