| Series finished.. Overall, the series was good.. if was funny, ecchi.. and the action scenes were pretty good.. characters are ok for me..art also good.. the ending was quite good too.. but I didn't like the fact that the final boss was killed with a head butt.. xD The Blade and Eve moment, even though it was kinda short, was good also.. If there's gonna be a season 2 I'll watch it.. |

Dissappppointing!!!!... No gud action as the second last epi.. i was expecting sm real gud fight between the 2 adams.. but watever since its finished.. well one thing is true i did enjoy the whole series.. it had lots of great humor and action :D |

| Damn it, the series is over. Now, where the hell am I going to watch another badass protagonist doing what he wants, whenever he wants, how he wants? Jokes aside, I found this series to be quite enjoyable despite my original views. It was generic from the start and I wasn't into it much. However, the various characters' personalities/backgrounds, an actual story, as well as the violence, action, and fan-service (imo executed right) made me watch this all the way through. It reminded me of the series, Gurren Lagann in a way also especially ..*cough* Kamina. I haven't read the manga yet but apparently, this is an original anime ending. Anyways, this was a great series imo and I give it a 8/10. Ya, 8 out of 10. Loved it ^_^ |

| Pretty good ending. It ended a little quickly though. But overall, the series was hilarious. The action was in your face awesome. The characters were what made the series, they were so much fun to watch. There honestly needs to be more Needless. I'd love to see a second season. I give Needless a 9/10. It was a truly enjoyable, funny, in your face action-packed ride. And I loved every second of it. |

| Interesting ending I must say, quite packed with action and an overall satisfying ending to finish of this series! At the beginning the show wasn't that interesting, it was actually more or less boring to watch that said I don't really understand how high this anime scored by many, it's not bad but I can't say it's that good either. It's a pretty average to good anime in general. All in all a nice watch and well I do wonder what the specials have to offer me. |

| As far as anime original endings go, I agree that this wasn't that bad. The ones for Pandora Hearts and Soul Eater that aired in the same year this show finished were much worse. Still a tad abrupt with the ending as are most shows with the finale mostly spent on a final battle. Overall I didn't enjoy this much at all at the start but it grew on me a good deal. A fun waste of synapses. A 6/10. I'll probably continue reading the 2nd half the manga very soon. |

| I had this series backlogged for years. Finally got the chance to watch it. What a blast. Great sense of humor all the way through, great art style, fun battles and awesome characters. I wish there where more shows like this. As for the anime original ending. It didn't feel forced, I think Madhouse did a pretty good job. Going to miss the banter and crazy high jinks in this show. I would love to see some kind of prequel with Blade (Ishida), Eve and Gido. |

| oyyeah- don't mess with other people's slaves, i'm never gonna forget them tentacles you showed off in ep 23. mr Archlight, that image is imprinted into my mind forever now.. i keep wondering why Cruz even exist in the anime, except for being everyone's punching bag, usually that character rise up after a while, whatnow, some sort of NGE-intervention _<D? .....whelp, all done. time for the specials. |

| Such a disappointing ending; it all went downhill after they defeated Cruz's sister. Multiple episodes of backstory really killed the pacing. And just what were they thinking when they took the two best aspects (ability memorisation and the humour) from this anime before the final battle? Memorisation alone allows for so many crazy possibilities, but instead they take it away, truly WTF...? Then, we get a back-and-forth between who's the real villain with boring bad guy monologue about gods. Such a downer. Still gets a 6/10 for being awesome in the first 2/3rds, the artstyle and one of the coolest protagonists in anime ever. |

| ^ For me the series hasn't been as good since the whole plot twist with the sister, that was just dumb decision, not to mention I've had a hunch that it would be the case. Her character was terrible. The plot twist only got worse, Arclight, Saten, then Arclight again. I thought Saten was somewhat cool, too bad his other identity, Kannazuki is actually lame asf. There were tons of action in the second half of the arc, way too much in fact. I like the comedy way more than the action, and when it's action time, I like the stylish non-serious way of battling, ridiculous technique name, ridiculous comedy, etc. and a power battle is boring. This series also, to me, doesn't have that hook, the hook that keeps you into this show. It's occasionally funny, kinda fun battle in the first half, but there's nothing to keep me interested. This is the kind of show I feel like stopping after I watch every episode, but then when I come back to it, I could enjoy an episode and still doesn't feel like continuing it. Blade's obsession with young lady is also a terrible running gag, it's probably funny the first time around, then it's just like, whatever dude. OST collection is beast btw. |

| That was quick end. The epilogue didn't give me chance for a good after story feeling. A little (too much) disappointing by it. My feelings are very mixed. The thing I most enjoyed was the comedy; the fanservice was on point and I did really enjoy it as well. The 2/3 of the anime was the best part for me - would give easily a 8/10 or 9/10 for it - When those 3 girls make their appearance until more or less Kurumi's death. After that, it started to get boring in my opinion the excess of battles. The flashbacks were good for its purpose (to clarify things), but very misplaced in my opinion, killing the pace. I was about to give this show a 8, but this quick ending turned me off =/ What about Kurumi? Cruz's sister?... and some other characters? that was all? Anyway... Probably going to give a 7/10 (would give 7.5 if possible). |

| Getting Blade and Eve coming to beat Arclight with Blade's final attack on him was pretty good, I still liked how Cruz was used for his brain and not his powers, though his sister doesn't deserve to be forgiven but whatever. Classic but decent ending, especially with the trio being reunited in the end, this is anime original good ending I believe ahah. |

| This finale seemed rushed. Needed better pacing. Arclight's followers being so stupid and fickle that they supported him because they baselessly assumed he'd make a world for Needless despite not caring about anyone besides himself was also a disappointment for me, mainly because it was depicted as an astonishing betrayal on Arclight's part, with no consideration for their own naivety. It's difficult to take Aruka and the Girl Squad seriously when they team up with Blade as a result. Both of them were callous and unrepentant for the entire duration of the anime, yet they instantly turn into altruistic saints now that their leader revealed the obvious? Aruka even had the nerve to preach some motivational spiel to Cruz, when she clearly didn't care or believe in him before this. It's an insult to characterisation. Still an okay anime. The main characters are all fun and welcomed spins on the usual battle shonen archetypes, humour often delivered, visual direction was impressive, and it had no shortage of cute and sexy girls. On the other hand, the setting and narrative remained stagnant for some time due to the anime spending nearly half of its entire duration dealing with the Girl Squad, and it stopped changing location once Arclight's tower was introduced. Shallow antagonist characterisation (aside from Saten) was also a bit of a letdown. I wish it kept stuck with the formula of a group of funny, dynamic characters travelling and surviving a desolate world that Needless established in the first four episodes, because that was when it was at its best. |

| It started off pretty good, but then the endless fighting halfway through the series got a little repetitive. Aesthetic and character designs were great though. Just wish they kept the same pacing from the beginning of the series |
