| ^ ^ the anime actually made it obvious . . al's choice and stuff . I didn't observe that scene too well in the manga either . (i mean i did , but the obviousness of al playing into their hands was more in the anime ) |
| I don't understand. Why would Al taking his body nullify his "sacrifice" status?To be a sacrifice, all you have to do is have seen the Gate. If Al had taken his body, that wouldn't change anything. It would put the good guys in an even worse situation because now they have to protect a weak emaciated body in addition to a blind man, and not have a hulking suit of armor helping them fight. |

| Ohh Mustang lost his vision. Wow that's gotta be the most crucial punishment anyone can ever receive. I mean it's alright to lose an arm or two since there's automails but your own vision? Maybe they'll invent eye automail in the future or something. Okay so all the five human sacrifices are gathered. What will happen next? Also, the body of Alphonse looked sad. The soul of Al should have took the body and just eat a lot after it! Well he needs to fight now so I don't blame him. How will they beat Pride and Flask guy if Mustang can't see anymore and none of them is skilled enough to beat the enemies. Also Scar is fighting Bradley, WTF WILL HAPPEN AAA. |

I said that before and Ill repeat: Rating this 1 of 5 is as incomprehensible as rating naruto chapter 5 of 5. Very well said. I got chills throughout several scenes this episode. This anime has easily become one of my favourites. |

| I feel so bad for Mustang. To go from the most powerful state alchemist to the most powerless one - and go blind. Oh man. That weird flashing back and forth between Wrath and Scar was pretty much the cheesiest/worst thing they've tried, lmao. It gave me the feeling they're trying to drag things out. |

| The price Mustang had to pay sure was convenient, I did like how Father explained how fitting it was the price each one of them had to pay but still... I say it was convenient because Mustang's flame alchemy seemed so powerful, quite op at times to be honest, but this way the anime does not have to deal with it anymore...oh well, still a damn good episode. |
