| Was she reading Marco's book?-way to make it come full circle. So do you gain the ability to transmute without a circle, by trying human transmutation? Damn, that was a whoopin. this was a hilarious episode. great! |

| So I almost came out to be right about the sensei. They really deserved the beating, though Ed is actually at fault. I'm interested what've their sensei done to transmute without circle too. |

| i remember someone saying a few episodes back, that in anime, hugs make everything bettter. that person was rite, lol i really can't say that they deserved the beating though, maybe before, but they've been in enough crap already. |

| I like flashbacks that give good history to what I'm watching, this was one of those . Good episode |

| love the episode :D Roy Mustang taking all the members to the central city ^^ Izumi really is trained and was able to sense that Ed has an automail or that Al's armor is empty. and lol she get's angry if she called an "old lady" or a state alchemist XD plus she's actually a housewife, man that must have been embarrassing :P man the cat died giving birth :( they really took a beating and i say they deserve is since they already been warned many times not to transmute the dead. plus the hug Izumi gave them reminded me of their mother. in fact i actually think it would have made sense if their parents were both alchemist and Izumi is their mother :P Ed and Al has really been through alot now hasn't it?? who was Izumi's companion?? is it her husband??? yay more flashbacks about them and Izumi. Izumi really is a kind person isn't it?? next one should be good as well ^^ |

| it was a decent episode it had it touching moments and funny moments. Ed and Al took the punishment from there teacher like real men for a kid they can handle allot. i wonder what will be next. |

| Again with the wonderful directing! This scene was handled so differently, it multiplied the feels gauge several times it did in brotherhood :' / |

| Izumi's philosophy on life is very interesting and captures the essence of alchemy well, making its nature more understandable. I remember her being a great addition to the cast, but I have a feeling I'm gonna end up loving her character even more this time around. She's like a second mother for the Elric brothers and it really shows with that hug at the end. |

| That was an amazing ending. The episode was kind of slow for me up until that beating. |

| Episode that seems transition, but in the end some elements in the story make interesting viewing, including the mystery or perceived, surrounding the teaching of the two protagonists. |

| I hate seeing animals die :( Was good seeing their teacher hit them seeing as she already made clear to them before that they shouldn't try to transmute humans. Teared up a bit when she went to hug them aswell. |

| I don't particularly agree that she used physical means, but I'm sure she felt guilty her students made that decision and feels somewhat responsible, even if it wasn't her fault. Case in point, the flashback shows that she expressed her views on bringing the dead alive very clearly. |

| Slower episode but I'm ok with it. The flashback was well done, Izumi seems to have a good idea of what alchemy is all about and Roy prepares to stir up central. | Another 5/5 It's super cool getting a full intro to izumi even if we saw tiny bits of screentime of her beforehand. It's not surprising that she beat them like that :( |
