| hahahahaha, Cavendish. I can't get over how awesome it is that Ishida Akira is voicing him. Whenever I read his lines in the manga I always imagined his voice because it was a perfect fit imo. And now it's real. Thank you Toei :D |

| I don't read the manga, but if I had to bet, I know who I will be putting all my money on in 'Round C' unless we are about to get majorly trolled. Wait?!?! WHAT?!!? Bellamy the dick is back? Very surprised. I wish I knew more than Lucy and Bellamy... This arc would be much more interesting if more of the Strawhats were in the battle. Zoro would be perfect in these games, but Oda has to have something interesting in store. |
| Ah!!!!!! Bartolomeo's name was mentioned. My baby! I'm so excited. I was scared about where the episode was going when I saw Sanji and Violet. That did drag on for a while, but I finally got to see that characters I've been waiting to see. Cavendish's voice is...uh...never mind. It suits his character. Keep it coming! The manga is on hold. I've go crazy when I don't get my shot of One Piece. I start having withdrawal symptoms and that is never a good think. Never. |

| Fairy Tail fanservice got nothing on this. JK, it has better animation. Anyway, the set-up for this tournament seems quite bland. Luffy enters, generic-looking contestants practicing, eyeing luffy down as the weakling until he surprised them. Are they trying? Ironically, as slow as the pacing is, the set-up itself is really rushed in content. I swear Dagma looks like Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog. Is that... Bellamy? Another troll come-back-from-the-dead? Well it doesn't change much, after all, with these characters before, death was already cheapened. It's just bad taste to start what I presume is a deadly tournament in such manner. A very disappointing episode. |

| There's not one scene in this episode that was more epic than it was in the manga :( Great episode concerning content, but in all honesty... that's more Oda's work i'm praising than the handling. I mean... the scene with Luffy and Spartan should have been the climax of the episode.... The anime staff is changing the climax's of each episode and it's just lessening the impact of those scenes :( Also the thing with Cabbage.... that shouldn't have been where the cliffhanger was left off.... :( Great content, thanks Oda. Bad execution, thanks Toei On a side note, I actually didn't notice anything wrong with the animation. I love the colors and animation. Pacing could be better, but no use complaining about it. The only thing I didn't like, was the cut off decisions. Spartan fight should have been the climax, like it was in the manga. Same thing happened with Fujitora's black hole. >.> |

| Yeah they changed the cliffhanger. But since it's an anime, I bet most people were wondering who would voice Cavendish or how he would sound like. So I think ending there was just perfect. |

| That is a moot point. Last episode was supposed to end with the middle of this episode. So, by default, we should have heard his voice this episode regardless. If anything, we were supposed to get his entire scene w/ Luffy this episode. Just to clarify, everyone very badly wanted the series to have more than 1 chapter = 1 episode, but to me, the 1 chapter = 1 episode works magnificently when concerning the climax and meaning of each episode. Sure, pacing can be irritating, but I've always appreciated that rule. Now that they're adapting less, or doing .5 + .5 instead, it's ruined the climax and intention of each episode. There's no focus or central meaning behind each episode anymore. It's irritating! Well whatever, what's done is done. At least everything else is good. :3 >.< |

| This episode was honestly a piece of shit I'm so sick of Toei turning this amazing show into garbage I'm so upset.. animation was a joke and the one chapter per episode thing still isn't working out... so tired of this show getting a cut budget and the first five minutes being opening sequence and recap... getting so old, my favorite show is going to hell...... boring |

| It's been one chapter = one episode for more than half of the series. This policy isn't that bad. That being said, these episodes that have recently aired do NOT follow this policy. Instead we've had 3 chapters adapted to 4-5 episodes. This most recent episode, 633, was .5 a chapter and .5 another chapter (give or take a bit of course). Adapting 1 chapter is fine, because the cliffhangers are kept. The way it is NOW, is just ridiculous. I get that Oda works hard, and that the series deserves more, but you guys are making the anime seem worse than it really is. Animation is pretty good imo. Of course, this is coming from a person who thought the Fishman Island animation was fine, until she saw pictures of Nami with disfigured facial features >.>. I haven't seen any of such for this arc so i'm assuming it's not that bad. I think the best thing for Toei is to keep doing what its doing, and a few years after the series officially ends, remake the show/DVDs (Cut doesn't need revoicing etc.) and make it with correct pacing and whatnot. This way Toei would make double the big bucks, keep the show relevant, and MAKE THE FANS HAPPY. Win for all. Problem is the time lag :/ I'm thinking of starting to watch One Pace. Only problem with that I have is downloading. I'm not a fan of downloads.... but for everyone who's fine with them, I've only heard good things about One Pace. So check it out. |

| Problem with the animation, at least for me, lies in the Sanji and Violet scene. The part where Violet was pulling Sanji who was fluttering in the air, dat animation >.> Not sure if I did look at that correctly, but the animation was pretty bad there. The art was also bad, the other contestants look like shit, especially DCJ, or the King. The prince looks hawt though lol. |

| Ok this pacing is seriously gonna make me drop One Piece. Again! And FFS the ONLY thing I want is for Luffy to be serious about this ONE issue that pertains to his goddamned BROTHER. But no. Its all just a game like when he left his home village. Wheres that red-hot anger that came up every time Hordy Jones said ANYTHING that could be linked to Ace's death!?! |

| Did anything of significance happen in this episode? More of Sanji like a dumb again. More introducing scenes of the fighting arena. More scenes of Luffy preparing for battle... UGH the pacing is killing me. At least Cavendish got introduced, so that counts for something. :P |
