| OSTs not quite the same feels as last season :/ I can understand Bunta's argument for not upgrading, but I really dislike the idea of Takumi losing to this kind of trash... Could've lost to Ryosuke at the end of last season, would've been more logical and more enjoyable. The truth about the bitch unravels. Didn't seem to faze Takumi too much though, poor guy probably doesn't believe it yet :'( "I felt his energy"... What kind of energy do you feel about a car... its warmth ? >< |

| Ah I think I'm starting to see the pattern Takumi will beat Evo IV guy but lose against Evo III guy Then boom, upgraded 86 Challenge him again and finally beat Evo III guy Like that? xD |

| I really like this setup. Takumi losing for the first time and then returning with an even more powerful 86 sounds really cool. |
| Poor Nakazato is in the pits, he's done for if someone like Itsuki is feeling sorry for him. Also Iketani, and Kenji are so funny! Changing tires, or deciding to race after Takumi, or saying that his chance of winning is 0%, and stuff. I mean, I would laugh, but they were being serious, and it just feels sad, as in pathetic. The person which left that anonymous note is a coward too, trying to ruin something from afar because it clearly bothers them, but they don't have the courage to say it to his face. Bunta is also being cheap, so far he has helped Takumi from behind the scenes by tuning the car, but now he decided not to do it because Takumi has to lose once just for the sake of losing, so they can pretend it's not like a shounen in which the protagonist always wins. The others are always tuning their cars so they can have their best performance, and Bunta did the same so far, so it feels wrong to just let Takumi lose like this, it might become a good lesson, but I don't like this approach at all. It would be better if he at least lost to that leader though. |

| I agree with Bunta. Without tasting the defeat, Takumi won't be able to unleash his full potential, whatever the car or its engine is like. I wouldn't mind seeing him losing a race, to be honest. It would be more realistic that way. Noone is a person that cannot be defeated and Takumi, while talented as hell, has still a long way ahead of him. @Asshk, that feel when at first back in First Stage I thought that this older guy is just her father giving her a ride. xD |

| I kinda feel bad for Night Kids , we witnessed them losing 4 races in a row already so I'm really surprised that they havent disbanded yet. It seems like Bunta wants to upgrade car himself but only on certain scenario. I feel like Takumi might win the next race but so barely that he understands why new engine is very important and learns a lesson |

| Nakazato lost yet again too many L's taking from the Night Kids Quite reasonable of Bunta that when Takumi hasn't lost a race he won't upgrade the engine so he'll feel more grateful for upgrades, I want Takumi to smoke this guy so he knows why he's doing Simulation 3, The preview says otherwise looks like Takumi's win streak will be broken eventually. |

| Bunta is absolutely right, losing is also important for growth. Ooof, from the very beginning, I felt that the sugar daddy situation would come back to hunt them. |

| I really hope Bunta puts a better engine on the eight-six. That would be a good advantage to beat the Lan-Evo gang. I would love to see the opponents face when Takumi beats him on the first race. I wonder what did the note mean that Takumi found in his shoe locker? Something about the Mogi's dad perhaps? |
| Oh I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn’t get the true situation with Mogi from what was shown in previous season. I read the spoilers so it didn't come as a surprise, but I thought I missed something because it wasn't explicitly revealed before now. The scenes were ambiguous enough but all those sugar daddy comments talked like it was a sure thing... even the spoiler for season 1 in her character description says so :/ Anyway, Mogi was never a compelling character, and a pretty poor choice for a love interest, so this development doesn't upset me. Although I wonder what was going on through the author's mind to give such a backstory in a show where romance shouldn't really matter in the first place. |
