| The assasination remains a predictable sublpot, I hope Oda has plans for that in the future. Otherwise, I'm confused by Decken's actions as they could endanger both "friend" and "foe", although i doubt these terms matter to him. I would've liked to see the capturing scene...3/5. Still not feeling FI arc after all these chapter...rushed and stalingl at the same time :/ |

| This pass is really, really getting me upset. I loved the flashback with Tiger and everything but this damn stand-still pace is getting on my nervers. At this point it's gonna take forever to finish. |
| Really digging these last few chapters. Oda has always been the type to set things up slowly. But there are some really interesting things going on in the background. We're getting there, the final stage is set and we're ready for the Strawhats big damn heroes moment next chapter. Which will be in 2 weeks ;( |

| hodi killing the queen makes him now a propper bad guy and worthy fighting luffy. oda skipped all the preditable fights 3 princes + jinbe captured easily wich is supprising after dragging out so much in this arc. |

| Finding out Shirley is Arlong's sister is quite the shock since I didn't see that coming. I can't wait to see the full extent of the crews new powers and it's clear that Shirahoshi is going to have a major role to play. Decken is just an utter nut-job but I wonder what his role in the future will be. All in all it was a pretty good chapter, it's a pity we have to wait a while for the next one but I hope Oda comes back refreshed from his break. |
| I have to admit I was really surprised at getting told about the previous fight which happened off-screen. I could have used a major battle right now. Maybe the anime will give us that instead. Next chapter will likely be more backstory about how Shirahoshi knew about her mother's death being committed by Hodi. I'd kind of like to know why she knows and no one else did, as well as why she never told anyone all those years ago. I still want to say that Luffy's in the shark's mouth. I'm really hoping so. I too believe that his haki will down all of the soldiers except the plot convenience ones that his crew have to take out. |

| There would have been no point in showing the princes fight. We all knew they would lose and it would already give us a taste of their true powers. Oda is obviously saving that for the Strawhat fights. We don't need to waste a chapter or 2 on fights that really don't matter and are already decided at the start. The Strawhats will do their big damn heroes moment next chapter and then we'll move to the fights I think. |

| i hope we will have luffy entrance and little bit fight with hody in next chapter. i want to see new world. though i think it will take more than 10 chapters to finish this arc by including all fights, now that Oda had introduced fishman characters. oh.. that's freaking three months minimum. :( |

| Noir will definitively be the way for the fishman to quit fishman Island after it's destruction and then go to the surface. Anyway it was a nice chapter even though we still did not get to see the Straw Hat... and the fact that we have two weeks to wait for the next chapter .. |
| Improvement in the chapter this week but still no Luffy. I'm glad Oda didn't show the pointless battle between the princes and Hody's Gang. This arc is out of content already imo, just get on with the final fights so we can move on. |

| the 100,000 fodder army is such a setup for Luffys' Haushoku. I can't wait to see the looks on hody and his gangs faces... ^^ Jimbei is the biggest dissapointment this arc imo...Just write him off already. Hody killing the Queen was expected. However, Arlong's Sister!? that was a WTF moment lol |

| I have to admit while I love One Piece to death, and Oda has had long arcs that have gone on forever before, this time around I'm slightly underwhelmed. Nothing horribly exciting has happened. There have been some good moments but for the most part I'm missing the crew's interactions and the crew themselves. Even when it was just Luffy on his own during Impel Down and Marineford, at least we had the focus on one of the Strawhats. Even if they aren't fighting, at least having them appear more often would have made this arc that much better. But that aside, this was definitely a better chapter and I can feel that we are just being set up for an ( and I hope ) epic entrance by Luffy and introduction to some much awaited ass kicking. |

| This was a good setup chapter, I think. Shirahoshi falling into the trap so easily was cause for major lulz. I hope we see the strawhats next chapter T_T. Poor Oda, he must be really sick if he has to put off the chapter for a week. |

| In regards to Luffy's entrance which many people have already commented on, I'm hoping for a more traditional entrance followed by some cool kick a** Haki powers being used :) by that I mean I kind what an echo of what happened at Arlong Park's entrance. Luffy going to their base p*ssed about Hodi trying to kill several members of his crew or for some other reason with several other members of his crew, then punching down the entrance asking who Hodi is & then giving him a good old punch in the face which starts the fight *except this time instead of him using Moo Moo (the sea cow) this time around to knock out the opponents army Luffy will use his Haki* :P |
