“Science is eleganto da”... seriously, this guy despite being a hostage himself still stays true to his profession lol. Glad we didn’t waste any time on a recap or something, because yeah, it just aired a couple of months back after all. Though the fact that Stanley and co. will chase Senku and his crew on an aircraft carrier, which was developed and made by none other than Senku's crew itself, is something too funny to ignore.

Figures Xeno would know about the stuff on the moon too. I mean both he and Senku think on the same wavelength after all. Not to mention, these two have kind of become best friends as well working towards the same goal… so yeah, I understand the confusion on Chrome’s face lol. A decent return, and yeah, I’m just wondering if this will be the last season, or they’d need a movie or sort to conclude this, as yeah, around 60 chapters are left to be adapted. You see, concluding it via a movie is a trend too these days, so yeah xD They really go hard with the OP every time btw.

Feel kinda bad for Chrome, he was just watching a crazy smart math battle between Xeno and Senku. Real experts going at it with brain games lol. And idk how, but somehow, Ginro stays relevant every arc. Like he’s a hostage again, but that’s fine. He’ll probably cause some chaos on the Perseus anyway. Pretty obvious who the author likes the most xD

Was cool seeing the top minds from before the Petrification figure out where to start looking for the cause. Makes you wonder how much Brazil has changed after all this time. Going through the Amazon sounds tough too. That scene with Senku was really nice though, just seeing him chill and happy, talking science with someone on his level. And hey, even Chrome got recognized as a real scientist. I take back what I said earlier.

Was a chill start to what'll no doubt be an even crazier part than last time, lets do it! And yes, as per usual, BANGER OP and ED.

Mangaka Riichiro Inagaki's Dr. Stone is back for the final season's 2nd Cour of 3, with quite the stakes indeed, increasing as they travel to unknown lands.

KANA-BOON's OP is good and expressive at the same time.

The flashbacks of Xeno and Stanley starting their own Senku-esque journey on the other side of the Earth, and look how far they've come. However, with him captured, Senku and the gang are finally on the way to South America, trying to master the language of the moon and find the source of the petrification beam. On the other hand, the route with Matsukaze playing prisoner to get Ginro from Stanley's ship and retrieve their precious doctor back, needless to say, it failed spectacularly, so Ginro is once again in trouble...leaking critical important intel to the group.

With his precious father's contributions, the two scientists are one step ever closer to realizing their goal...by making bubbles instead, to get an idea of the estimate reach of the petrification beam. That, and adding Chrome into the mix deducing the hypotheses behind it along with their exact ties of petrification to pinpoint the exact coordinates of the beam, and the endless scientific explorations even leave Kohaku all bewildered lol. When all is said and done, the reproducible factors eventually lead to one location: Ground Zero, somewhere within South America.

otoha's ED is even better, continuing the tradition of the series's impressive EDs. Cour 2 is off to continue where greatness have not left far.

So this is a flashback of Stanley and Xeno. How could they, at a young age, already be planning to create weapons—is that a railgun? Xeno was kidnapped by Senku, but he managed to deduce Senku's plan with just a few puzzle pieces. Is this a duel of genius scientists? It’s quite moving that Senku and Dr. Xeno, with their combined intellects, have finally been able to analyze the petrification beam from the beginning.

Senku teams up with Xeno to uncover the mysteries of the petrification beam and the moon. Meanwhile, the remaining members of the Science Kingdom, captured aboard the Perseus, stay in Corn City. The severely injured Matsukaze receives treatment on the ship and is interrogated about Senku and the others' whereabouts. Feeling that Matsukaze's life is in danger, Kinro ends up speaking out. Chrome is acting unusually fidgety. He desperately wants to go listen in on Senku and Xeno's conversation, but when he brings them tea, he finds the two playing with soap bubbles. They are conducting a simulated experiment to recreate the catastrophic effects of the petrification beam, using a model to accurately pinpoint the source of the beam by latitude and longitude.

I like how Senku and Xeno discuss the Earth and outer space. I can't imagine Chrome's role being smaller than usual.

Well, the OP definitely is a banger. ED's visuals are interesting, just focusing on that trio.
Other than that- THEY ARE BACK and everything's still the same: Senkuu is still crazy attractive, and they're all utter dorks. Every single one of them. 🤣 It's all we could ask for at this point.

Sure missed this and seeing Senku and Xeno finally science together, man that's a sight to behold, insane how they could find the position of the beam's start from all these calculations,

also opening is pretty nice and ending is... unique i gotta say, between the cgi and the three characters it's about, wonder if it's foreshadowing something (or a redflag but i hope not)

Took me a minute before I realized that this is listed as episode 13 on Crunchy, lol.

KANA-BOON OP slaps, but Good Morning World! set the bar too high for best opening. Next cour will be the last chance.

We're back once again for more exihilarating science-fiction. Senku and Xeno make up for a brilliant duo that can reach conclusions none of them could've solved on their own. If these two worked together from the beginning of the series they would've speedrunned even harder.

Let’s goo we are so back boys and the best part of Dr. Stone is coming up! Senku and Xeno working together is so cool to see, they work so well together you’d almost forget Xeno spent the entirety of last season trying to kill Senku and all his friends lmao.

Chrome’s reaction to Senku and Xeno working to calculate the origin point of the petrification beam and seemingly making an exact coordinate out of thing air using only the times they’d been petrified and the assumed velocity of the beam is literally all of us. These dudes are just on a totally different level than us mortals lol. I also think their success working together is sorta analogous for humanity as a whole. The things we could accomplish if we weren’t trying to kill each other constantly would be incredible. We are our own worst enemies.

Man every time I see a Byakuya flashback I get so emotional. Just the fact that he’s been gone thousands of years, but continues tracing and guiding Senku even now hits so hard. I wish they could’ve seen each other again 😢 he’d be so proud of everything Senku’s done

BRAZIL MENTIONED!!! We are on our way to South America soon, can’t wait to finally uncover the mystery of petrification. We’re off to a really good start here.

Dr. STONE is finally back! But this cour only has 12 episodes. So, this means the final season will probably end in 2026 and not this year. Well, at least it's not as bad as AOT "Final" Season...

Xeno was one talented brat to create a rail gun when he was just a kid. Wtf were Xeno and Stanley into.

This episode was basically just Senku and Xeno rambling about the petrification beam and I loved it. Can't wait to see the team go to Brazil lol.

Dr. Stone is back! Honestly, things are moving so fast, that 3 months passed by without noticing, and so the weekly dose of Doctor Stone is happening again.

Honestly, I think it was a really good episode to start the season. There wasn't much happening, we got the recap of last season, we got some flashbacks to Xeno when he was little (I was surprised to know that he and Stanley have been friends since they were so young, I thought it was something more recent), and then we got Xeno and Senku brainstorming, to finally localize the place where the petrification beam started. Also, it seems that Xeno is also aware that the people behind this are hiding on the Moon.
It was also great to see Chrome contributing to that discussion, I'm glad they are giving Chrome more of this spotlight, I remember back in season 1/2 Chrome started being a bit brushed off.

This episode showed well how the dynamics for this season are going to be, since now we have 2 scientists thinking to resolve this mystery of the petification. So yeah, I'm really excited to see what this season will bring out, especially because I found the last season probably the weakest one so far.

The new opening is certainly good for Dr. Stone standards, but I think I have heard better songs from Kana-boon. Still waiting to hear the full version, and maybe with time it will grow in me (I still remember saying something similar to Fire Force's opening last season, and it's now my favorite opening of the year so far).
The ending was really good too! After last season, where I didn't like the opening nor the ending, it's good to see things are different this time, and this ending might be one of my favorites so far (but I need to hear more times). I really liked the voice of the singer!
I found interesting that the ending focus on Kohaku, Tsukasa and Hyouga, it seems quite a random group from the characters, but I suppose it's because they are going to be the "attack" group of that expedition. Or maybe they are getting some character development, I don't know.

Dr. Stone is back, and the fans are starting to crack up! I'm beyond excited, ten billion percent!
The opening of KANA-BOON is absolutely amazing. With so many OPs in this series, it's hard to choose, but this is definitely one of my favorites.

We're shown how Xeno and Stanley met, and even as a kid, Stanley was already quite the vixen. Not with cigarettes... but with lollipops, well that's a start 😅.

Poor Chrome couldn't keep up with Senku and Xeno's lightning-fast calculations, but he still proved to be a valuable asset. And now they've discovered that the petrifying ray started in Brazil. What a crazy way to start.... I'm excited.

Three months went by in a flash, it’s time for more Dr. Stone once again! And this time it’s in the summer just like the good ol’ days of Season 1, the first time it’s happened since then, a shame it couldn’t be alongside Fire Force like in Summer 2019, but if we just have a season break after this part like the first, then they will align one last time in Winter 2026, I really hope that happens just for maximum nostalgia points lol.

And although this first episode back wasn’t eventful, it was a really powerful one in the second half thanks to the beautiful collaboration of scientific minds with Senku, Xeno and Chrome all putting their heads together to figure something out that’s been one of the series’ biggest mysteries, being the origin point of the beam that turned the world to stone. It really was quite the sight, you have a master and student that became enemies, as well as a scientist of the new generation in the stone world, all working together toward a common goal, and it was something that couldn’t have been figured out without the cooperation of both Senku and Xeno, their superhuman memories of the exact time they got stoned really came in clutch.

There was some good comedy here too, like the moments both Chrome and Kohaku walked in to what looked like pure goofiness lol, but what makes this funnier is that science can look like that in real life, what looks like just playing around is actually really serious shit. And oh yeah, Ginro done goofed on the South America plan but I’m not even mad, Stanley gotta get there somehow to make things more interesting, but damn he really played them there didn’t he lol.

And I’d say this OP and ED absolutely hold a candle to the previous ones, the KANA-BOON OP is sick but the otoha ED was amazing man, the visuals looked so good and the song fit it perfectly, that might just be one of my favorite Dr. Stone EDs already.

Awwww yeah, science peak is fucking back and with it we can safely say that the race for South America hits me not only because its exhilirating to see the science behind it but also that's the place where I live. We'll see the characters coming up with different hypothesis about the petrification ray's origin all the while Stanley is in hot pursuit with Ginro on board doing whatever the fuck he always does. The science rather than being boring is full of motivation and visual aid so it's easy to follow to a point and in it they can keep coming up with new inventions.

I'm glad we didn't get one of those lame openings from season 3 at least. The art style in both the opening and the ending are definitely different from the rest. A little more animation would have been great but it passes in my eyes.

The episode wasn't bad, it continued right from where we left off, the calculations were pretty neat though maybe a little bit overly dramatic. Anyone else feel that the animation quality has degraded though? Most notably compared to the previous new world season? The art is still good but I feel like there's a lot more stills and less actual motion than before, the openings show that too. Also possibly related to the animation critique, anyone else notice "Die Studio" being added to the credits? I literally cannot find ANY information on "Die Studio" nor what kind of studio they even are.

When Senku and Xeno started science geeking out it was like watching some super duper combo team up in action, so satisfying.

As a non manga reader my personal theory is something about the beam is bouncing off the atmosphere (maybe the Ozone layer)? since it didn't affect the space station in geosynchronous orbit. We'll find out in the future if that's the case or not.

When Senku said he couldn't solve it alone I told my kid it would be some kind of simultaneous equation where the intersection is the solution, and wham, there it is!

But still those 2 geeking out doing calculations that complicated in their heads ... I can only bow down to those with next level science and math skills.

The nerd in me loves this anime.

This time it starts with a brief flashback of Dr. Xeno's encounter with Stanley. Honestly, I didn't expect Stanley to be a child prodigy himself, albeit in a different field than Senku or Xeno.
