| This episode was wild, exceptionally the second half with the action and mech battles. Victory to the Pomeranians. Well played. But holy shit, we got to see a lot of emotions pouring from Machu too. |

| So after winning several clan battles without casualties and following the blow their heads rule; why are they suddenly killing people? Last ep Shuji just went up and killed Shiiko and now Nyaan got high with the kirakira that she literally stabbed and slashed the dude apart. Pretty sure machu will follow suite and kill someone soon. |

| Can’t believe that Machu has bigger funbags than Nyaan, especially when Nyaan looks older than her. My my, Nyaan is after Machu’s man—well, she’s not going to allow that. The relationship between them is gonna take some setbacks, but I do hope they somehow make up. Shuuji, on the other hand, seriously needs to put some clothes on—dude was releasing love pheromones from his sweaty body, and of course he’s going to catch a cold at this rate. But it looks like Nyaan has some history with piloting Gundams. What exactly did she do before, considering we know she’s a refugee? And damn, the way her personality just flipped there while piloting. |

| Well this episode went from 0-100 QUICK. Nyaan isn’t gonna be the same again after that fight and do I sense a little love triangle and rivalry for the Gundam developing between Machu and Nyaan? Plus Chalia getting more involved now.. Things are about to get very interesting going forward. Machu actually handled Shiiko’s death pretty well all things considered. Expected her to be a bit more shaken up about how easily Shuji killed her, but it was more of a passing feeling than anything seriously lol. Feels like that’s sort of just the story showing us the cast gradually becoming desensitised to killing people, especially after they mentioned Machu being born on side 6 a place that didn’t know any war.. seems like that whole thing from the first couple battles where they didn’t kill anyone has just gone out the window and these are gonna be death matches. On a brighter note, Machu looked so pretty during that scene. Annqi continues to be fine af too Jesus I love these character designs. That Gundam cool off scene has to be one of the most interesting fanservice scenes ever lmao. Nyaan stripping and laying down on the Gundam to cool off and Machu gets jealous because she doesn’t want to lose Shuji’s attention and follows suit.. tensions are rising No good deed goes unpunished, Machu was bold for attacking the cop so Nyaan could get away(fuck space racism btw) and it ended up causing her to miss the clan battle and letting Nyaan get a taste of killing in the Gundam, yikes. Couldn’t help but laugh at the fact Machu’s first thought isn’t about someone being killed using her Gundam, but about someone sharing the bond she and Shuji have as Mavs. She’s got a lil psychotic streak to her lol Nyaan unlocking the omega psycommu was such a dope scene, Khara continue innovating on traditional ways of fighting with mobile suits.. using the red gundam’s head as a shield was crazy lmao. Very dope fight, and the fact that Nyaan is over here having a breakdown while Shuji is out of commission for a cold is insane 😂 but I’m wondering if Nyaan will give up the Gundam so easily. That scene at the end is a nice parallel to the show’s key visual with Nyaan looking down on Machu this time Kikeroga mentioned?? Fuck yes can’t wait for next ep. |

| Poor Machu, she is surrounded by insane people. Suddenly everyone killing their opponents is a weird twist, specially when Machu is the only one who actually reacts when people are dying, the rest of the cast act like it's another tuesday. |

| NOW IT'S A REAL GUNDAM with a love triangle, newtype autism, and mistreating haro. The characters making frustratingly dumb decisions is inline with what I'd expect, Shuji ONLY cares for MECHS, and of course there was sakuga galore this episode. Nyaan using the red gundam as a weapon went hard, and well, she certainly seems more apt at it than Machu. Some fanservice, some mecha/newtype action, yup this Gundam. | With the Red Gundam, Char outperformed the Black Tristars even more. Mash left the black tri stars early so now Ortega and Gaia are just a duo called "Binarys". Machu and Nyaan go to do laundry and get groceries for the "Hungry Tapeworm". They are close to getting that glider to go to Earth. Machu and Shūji being Newtypes can experience the Kira Kira, something Nyaan can't. But she can at least share another sensation with Shūji...the coolness of the Red Gundam. Jealous, Machu does the same. Does Challia, who is now a Pommerians fan, even want the GQuuuuuuX back? Xavier was sent to look for it on his own. C'mon bro you've been arrested once, locking yourself in with a civil servant's teenage daughter isn't a good look. If the GQuuuuuuX doesn't appear in the next clan battle, that confirms Machu is the pilot. ...unless someone else pilots the GQuuuuuuX! Nyaan still has Machu's pilot suit from the laundromat!!!! It's her chance to see the Kira Kira only Shūji and Machu have experienced, and given how Shūji did 99% of the work against Shiiko, it doesn't matter if she can't activate the Omega Psycommu...right? Unfortunately for Nyaan, the reason Shūj was planking on the Red Gundam was because he had heatstroke (maybe he was painting near the solar furnace earlier in the episode). Shiiko was psychotic and only wanted to fight the Red Gundam whereas Ortega and Mash actually have a strategy to win and go for the inexperienced pilot first. After suffering through their electrocution, Nyaan takes some of her rage on the Haro, forcing the Omega Psycommu to activate. She can see the Kira-Kira now and seems intoxicated by it. Even in this mental state, Shūji can still successfully fight as Nyaan's MAV. This is what Machu feared...not being able to reach Shūji's level but Nyaan has almost done it within a single battle. Running through the rain after escaping Xavier, Machu learns it was Nyaan who substituted for her. I guess Annqi isn't Lt. Simus...unless she's a double-agent plotting against Kycilia with Challia. |

Interesting considering the little we saw of Machu's mother and that it is said in this episode that her school is for rich kid, I'm getting more curious about her family and were this is going to lead. First Shûji, now Nyaan, is Machu next in committing act of violence? I was a bit scared for Nyaan for a second seeing the psycommu not activating and their adversary stating that their plan was to attack the GquX. Wonder how all of this will affect the relation of the trio. Kicilia next episode? I expected her to appear eventually considering how often she was mentioned but this early? |
Nyaan going ballistic was wild to witness but her abuse of Beanie Haro was heartbreaking to watch. Not to mention how it immediately the moment it could. |
| Pretty fun episode with decent fanservice I didn't expect to see in such intensity, lol. Even so, it was done well and with taste, to be honest. It blended well with the whole episode. No way, Black Tru-Stars are back! At least two of them, heh. Too bad they were destroyed by Nyaan. She was insane as a GQuuuuuuX pilot. First time piloting it, awakening her dormant Newtype abilities, and being able to synchronize well with the Psychcommu. Machu was rightfully shocked to see that rather timid Nyaan doing so well in a Clan Battle. She even wore Machu's beanie. Poor Haro was treated so badly by Nyaan. But apparently, Haro is essential to unlocking full access to GQuuuuuuX, at least if someone uses it for the first time. Oh, and let's nit forget Shuji. He was sick this time, so it added even more dramatism to the whole fight. Well, I guess we can expect a fine love triangle stuff emerging in the next episodes, hehe. |
| I said that I loved this episode but I have that weird feeling deep in me, I feel like it is the start of a rivalry between Machu and Nyaan because they both felt the freddom of the kira-kira, it is the start of some bad events. More when we see Nyann just... like, killed a guy... it's the third death during clan battle and that's not something to be proud of |

Man, I remember the times when being a Newtype was about expanding human consciousness and grasping for greater understanding, not using it as an excuse to just be a fucking sociopath.
Also, no surprise that they'd start sexualizing all three main characters. They probably figure it's the only way they'll get people to adhere to them, given they are all utterly devoid of anything resembling actual character or depth.

| @Occasus I don't feel they were sexualized, even though it can be considered as fanservice. What I want to say is that... God, they're adolescents being adolescents, just that. Machu has an interest in Shuji and feels connected to him through the kira kira thing, and Nyaan feels she's being left behind by both of them, so she tries to catch up as she can (undressing maybe to attract Shuji's attention¿? bc adolescent girl, and feeling the Gundam's coolness), then Machu obvious doesn't want to be the only one not doing the thing, so she mimicks Nyaan (bc she's an adolescent girl too and definitely wants Shuji's attention) and undress too even though she feels embarrass. That love triangle thing aside, taking into account that we had a yuri couple at Witch of Mercury, I really want that GQUUUX results in a poligamy relationship between the three of them bc OMG I just love three of them together so much. |

Seeing Nyaan totally obliterate the Black Tri-Stars was not exactly what I was expecting out of this episode, but I'll be damned if this show isn't delivering upon its premise. I know it's a bit trite to clarify my wanting of a new Gundam anime to have a good set up, but I really did assume the alternate 0079/OYW thing would be mostly a gimmick for just the very start of the series, and I couldn't be happier to have been wrong. Episode 2 was a great masturbatory exercise in feeling nostalgia, indubitably, but seeing Machu and Nyaan both begin to really direct this thing in a more unique direction has been a joy! Machu in particular has stolen my attention in a way I did not anticipate. Shuji's character is also interesting to me, because at the moment, I don't feel he has as many attributes or tropes to his character that directly pull from the original Gundam like our other protagonists do. I'm super looking forward to seeing more of he and Machu's dynamic. As well as if that line about the coldness of a Gundam's metal was a fluke bit, or if the guy is a genuine Gundamsexual in the vein of a certain Ms. Purpleton some of you may recall. But I digress... I really like this show. |
| Loved this episode and it fixes my biggest gripe with the show so far of Nyaan just kind of being there, but this was a really nice twist to expectations especailly with her being so gung ho about killing as appossed to Shuuji's kind of apathy. Really curious how the trio is gonna develop from here. The way things are going right now coupled with the small setting im actually starting to feel slight comparisons to war in the pocket in how its a largely lighter gundam entry with lots of slice of life but as it goes on it drips in darker elements and if it really goes that route, will have a big drop moment where the hammer drops and reality hits like a truck, Machu's naive outsider view idolizing shuuji kind of feels similar to how Al viewed bernie. |

| Nyaan pilots the gundam this time and shes way better than Machu who mostly just panicks and thinks of it as her romantic moments with Shuji. Still dont like these slowmo battles but whatever. Also should have included more Annqi fanservice than Machuu Nyaan lying down in their undies. |

Can't believe the Tri-Star got beaten so bad by a amateur and a boy who was barely conscious on account of coming down with a lethal anime cold. Does it count as a love triangle if the object of the girls affections is kind of oblivious? |

This show basically how to make trash. Two people with new type lol. Trash show. Better drooped it. They try to reset gundam cause amuro sexual incident, but they let new writer take charge. Gundam frenchise is lost. I dont have hope for it. 3/10. I can see the shit already. They need to bring back iron orphan writing. Now i will never watch gundam esp if the art too cartonish and fucking yuri. The last hope is hathaway two. Better movie series than anime series.

| Machu's NTR face in the end. Nyaan has better skills in stress situation, the fight was great. Not the best teamwork, but she did a brilliant job with using her feverish Mav to win the battle. |

| Nyaan finally gets her time to shine. Out of the main three she definitely has the most reason to fight, and they really leaned into it during her clan battle - will be interesting to see how her plotline as a refugee develops. Looking forward to next episode and the focus on Kycillia, I've been waiting to see what alt-Zeon has been up to post victory. |
