I do. I don't recall which mangas I have in my physical collection. But I have a huge collection of physical manga copies.

I would like to know if you also collect physical manga.

Kinda, but I'm space limited and only keep what I really like.
Got rid of a lot of them to move into my very first house.
Only 28 pieces left now, haven't bought a manga in forever either.

@Loyal_Sheepling aren't you rich because you are a landlord? Couldn't you afford more manga because you are rich?

I don't "collect" physical manga because I'm not obsessed with it and I really see no point in that cuz digital is just way more convenient. But my kids have maybe 10 shelves filled with that stuff - I wouldn't call it a collection though, just some paperbacks you buy occasionally here and there and too lazy/greedy to dispose when finished reading.

@DesuMaiden There's one bookstore that also sells certain manga volumes in my town, I usually buy all my books there. I've never purchased any books online.

I don't specifically collect manga but I do enjoy comics so manga comes along with that. I've got a fairly large collection of books that are comics (I hate the term graphic novels but there's also no other good synonym for it) and there's a fair amount of manga mixed in there.

I've started to, yes. I have volumes 1 and 2 of Unmagical Girl, but unfortunately the third and final volume was never translated. I have all four of the complete Flowers of Evil omnibus volumes, and four of the Nana & Kaoru omnibus volumes (and I already preordered the last two). I have volumes 1-5 and 8-9 of Inside Mari, but can't seem to find volumes 6 and 7 anywhere. I have both volumes of Deadpool: Samurai, which I had finished reading recently. I have My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness and a bunch of its sequels (My Solo Exchange Diary volumes 1 and 2, My Alcoholic Escape from Reality, and My Wandering Warrior Existence). I also have I Married My Best Friend to Shut My Parents Up and Sayonara, Eri. Lastly, I have a bunch of hentai manga/doujinshi too. Amongst them are Lovely, Love Me, Imperfect Marble, Bootyholic, How Good Was I?, Ecchi Sketch!, Otherworldly Maidens: Monster Girls from Another World, My Mikage-san, Head-to-Head Showdown, Spring Yearning, and Hot Honey Ecstasy. I plan on getting more manga.

One of my expensive hobbies. I've over 100 volumes in my collection. Some are local print and translation, but the most of them are English ones. My favorite manga is collector's edition version and some are in a larger format than the usual norm.

i have a small collection of my favorite manga, manga i enjoyed or generally anything id recommend to anybody. Usually Im a big fan of trading manga collections with friends. The main reason i keep my physical collection is that when i meet people that are into manga or i have somebody who is interested in starting with manga its easier to just lend them some of mine.

Unfortunately, no I do not. I have a couple of manga and volumes but not enough to start a collection. I usually buy and read it online because I don't like to ship physical manga because of shipping fees. Bookstores and libraries near me do not offer a wide selection of manga for me to choose from so I just buy online. If there were more manga to choose from near me then I would happily start a collection, I hope to have a physical collection shortly.

Only of a select amount of manga bc I'm definitely not going to get the popular Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family etc in my local supermarkets for overpriced values... Like if I don't feel it touches me and motivates me to reread, small chance I'd buy.
Still, sometimes watching if there are discounts on manga that I've got my eye on is worth it, bc you never know right.

I did ages ago and my dad would make fun of me for it thus I just started to read manga digitally and buy it that way. This was years ago, not recently. Also I don't have the space, let alone can afford physical manga.

I do, but it's not quite what it's built up to be. You just end up with all these static books lying around that you're always too careful to not overread otherwise you'll burn yourself out. As a purchaser of physical manga, i wouldn't take offense to someone saying they wouldn't be interested in getting into the endeavor. I don't know why i like collecting them, i just do! it's an enigma. Maybe it's the fresh smell of ink and paper...

I do have a massive amount of light novels and manga, which you can see on my page. But one thing I consider is that light novels are vastly better than manga.
Manga tend to get boring after a few volumes, and I have a bunch of "meh" manga I'm currently reading. Compared to light novels which are way more entertaining to read.
Seems manga attracts readers with nice art and/or uncensored stuff, only to turn to shit in the later volumes. Story deteriorate also quite a bit.

I'm still considering dropping more of my collection since they aren't that good. Already dropped a few series but we'll see.

I became pretty obsessed with collecting manga two years ago, to the point where I bought about 500 manga volumes in one year. But I sold some, so I currently have about 350 volumes. The past year I've only bought four manga volumes and there's only one ongoing manga series I wish to still buy volumes for, so I'm not nearly as into collecting manga anymore. But I still cherish the ones I have and don't regret buying most of them.

If you assume you have issues then what do I have considering my manga/light novel collection? :)
Nice collection though. I've been thinking on going into art book collection as well. I do have the Overlord art books though.

Yes, I have around 40 volumes which I got in around 3 years because manga here is pretty expensive. The manga from which I have all their volumes are: Death Note Black Edition (6 volumes), Parasyte (8 volumes), Love in Focus 3-in-1 (1 volume), Look Back (1 Volume), Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (1 Volume) and Kimetsu no Yaiba Gaiden (1 Volume) I also have volumes 1-9 of Spy X Family, Bleach 3-in-1 edition volumes 1-5 (first 15 volumes of Bleach), DBZ volumes 1-4, and a few series where I only have 1-2 volumes.

Yeah I do, quite a few. At least a couple hundred volumes in total, some in german and some in english. Haven't read anything that I didn't physically own in at least 10 years. The first volume of manga I ever bought was Akira in 2001. I own a bunch of longer series (the longest being 107 volumes of One Piece) but most of them are older and finished (Dragonball, Gantz, Eden: It's an endless world, Blade of the Immortal, Berserk, Lone Wolf and Cub, Vagabond, 20th Century Boys, Billy Bat, Oyasumi Punpun, Banana Fish etc...) because recently I tend to buy shorter, completed titles, with a focus on older gekiga classics/historical works/autobiographical stuff. There's a few mangaka where I try to buy everything that gets published in either german or english (Tezuka, Junji Ito, Shigeru Mizuki, Jiro Taniguchi, Yoshihiro Tatsumi, The Tsuge Brothers, Gou Tanabe's Lovecraft adaptations). I believe the only longer, ongoing series I currently keep up with are One Piece, Vinland Saga and Asadora (well, technically not yet, but I definitely will buy this at some point but since I don't plan on reading it before it's completed I'm not in a hurry.
I probably regret this post by now.

Yes, because it's actually the only way I'm reading manga. It's more of a pleasure for me to have something physical on my hands, and most of the mangas are actually quite appealing. Furthermore, I'm already spending too much time in front of a monitor, either because of my work or watching anime, so it's a nice change for me to look on something different.

Yes, I do. I started few year ago (maybe 2 or 3). My manga collection isn't really big (bit less than 70). I'm very picky when comes to buying new manga, since there isn't much manga to chose where I'm from and I want to collect only manga I really like.
