An anime fan for about a decade. SoL/CGDCT and Magical girl stan.
I can watch pretty much any genre; I tend to think about anime long after completing them, so don't be surprised if the scores change regularly. I will still score anime even if I drop it.
My rating system(s).
How I rate anime.
10: This is an anime that I thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end, and is easily one of my all-time favourites; it most likely had a lasting impact on my life, and I'll continue to love it for many years to come. If there is anything I dislike about this anime, my nit-picks are so minute and heavily outweighed by everything I love about them. In one word, these anime are superlative.
9: A great anime that has plenty of things I loved; it is one that has left a lasting sense of satisfaction. This anime is one of my favourites. However, while there's a lot to love, there isn't as much to love as a 10/10, and/or there are more issues/nit-picks.
8: Still a great anime that I enjoyed and definitely one of my favourites. This is an anime that appeals to me on a personal level, though nowhere near as intensely as a 10/10.
7: A pretty cool anime that I like. There are more things I dislike about these shows, but nothing serious enough to make me hate it. Overall, I enjoyed these anime and could see myself re-watching them.
6: An anime that has some things I like, and other things that I don't. I'm happy to have seen these shows, but they don't really appeal to me as much as anything rated higher; it's not necessarily bad, but it's not something I'd prioritize.
5: While filled with some problems, overall, I can say that it wasn't a complete waste of time to watch. That said, these shows don't appeal to me enough, so I wasn't all that happy watching these. I likely won't re-watch them.
4: Anime with this score are bad, but not offensively so. It may have some cool moments, but overall it's just a waste of time. I did not like this.
3: Absolutely horrible and boring anime. It may have one or two good things, but not enough for me to say it was worth watching.
2: Among the worst anime I've seen. It is so bad that there likely is nothing that I enjoyed about it. If the word "insipid" were given visual form, this would be it.
1: This is a score I give only to the worst of the worst. If the anime actively offends and disgusts me, this is the score it gets. There is a high chance I'll end up feeling completely miserable after watching this, whether that's more out of frustration, disgust, or boredom depends on the anime. This score is also given to shorts that feel like they have nothing going for them.
How I rate hentai.
This is a meme rating system.
7: I made a mess.
6: Gotta go faster!
5: Pretty good stuff.
4: Fapping.
3: Maybe I can fap to this?
2: Staring at my dick and contemplating the meaning of life.

Stuff about me (Currently under construction).
MBTI: INTP-T F Score: 1.47 (whining rotter) Politics: I'm left-wing; more specifically I'm either a socialist or an anarchist, maybe a bit of both. I'm unsure of exact labels or if I even want a label, but for simplicity let's say I'm somewhere within the anarcho-communist spectrum. I know I am: anti-capitalist, anti-fascist, pro LGBTQ+ (though I prefer queer since it's less of a mouthful to say), a feminist, anti-war, an atheist (and very opposed to religion interfering with politics and education), pro-choice (abortion), anti-Zionist, pro art, autistic, among other things. Where anime is concerned, I'm also fine with lolicon and hentai rape. Things I find cringey: conservatives, fascists (right-wing totalitarians), liberals, right-wing libertarians, left-wing totalitarians, anti-SJWs, anti-feminist manchildren, queerphobes (I'm using this as an umbrella term for homophobes, transphobes, biphobes, etc.), religious zealots, anti-science idiots, J. K. Rowling, Elon Musk, capitalists, TERFs, the police, the military, the government, Antisemitism, Zionism, racism, nationalism, MAL users, weeaboos, gamers, among other things. Things I think are cool: science, art, anime and manga, music, video games, philosophy, socialism, anarchism, hentai, feminism, lolicon, the LGBTQ+, atheism, solidarity, empathy, punching Nazis, among other things. Anime and me: I don't have a particularly interesting story about my relationship to anime. Some people basically grew up watching anime. Some older people can share stories of renting out VHS tapes or collecting magazines. I always love hearing these types of stories, especially since magazines and VHS rentals aren't really things I've ever gotten to experience. Alas, I don't have any of my own stories to share. I did technically watch anime as a kid. Digimon Savers (or as I knew it at the time, Digimon Data Squad) and Pokémon Black & White (and a bit of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl) aired on TV. Those were amongst my first anime, though I didn't know it at the time. What's anime? I didn't know back then. No, I first learned about anime in my teen years. I distinctly remember picking up one of those "how to draw manga" type books from a library, maybe I was 13 or 14 at that time. Manga. What a weird and fascinating word. I was captivated by the artwork in that book. Somewhere in the book was an offhanded mention of anime. Oh, this? Yeah, it's basically manga but animated. This planted a seed in my mind. I forgot about that book, about manga and anime entirely, shortly after. That was until one fateful day in 2015 where one YouTuber I watched back then started talking about an anime he was watching. Anime? I swear I've heard that word somewhere before. Ah! I remembered! So I started watching anime on YouTube, in poor quality obviously. Later that year, I made a Crunchyroll account and started streaming some anime there, but over time I stopped using it and turned to pirate streaming sites. Eventually I moved on from there to torrenting anime and buying BDs. I can't accurately talk about my relationship to anime without also talking about the different YouTubers I started watching, all the recommendations I've received and my growing interest in critique. However, for now, I won't. Some other things: I have nowhere else to mention this, so I'm just gonna awkwardly put it here. I'm autistic. I'm not self-diagnosed, I was "officially" diagnosed by a "professional." It was somehow both surprising and not surprising at the same time. In my mind, I had built up this image of what an autistic person is "supposed" to be like. I had assumed an autistic person was an incredible genius who could easily solve any mathematical problem. Like a calculator, in a way. I had the idea an autistic person was so intellectually gifted, that they're "too smart" for regular society. This is why I initially thought I wasn't autistic. I mean, how could I be? I'm by no means a moron, but I'm not too bright. Definitely not a genius. I can't work out math problems to save my life. Anyone who knows me can tell you just how bad I am at mathematics. There's just no way I could be autistic. And yet... that's exactly what I was diagnosed with. It turns out my assumptions were wrong. You don't have to be a genius to be autistic. Apparently, autistic people can be idiots too. Accepting this idea then helped make some other things in my life make more sense. Lack of communication, dislike of making eye contact, hyperfocusing on my interests, the struggle to make friends (and worse, the struggle to maintain friendships), dislike of loud noises, and more. It was freeing, I think. So yeah, I'm autistic. That's pretty neat.
Hello. I decided to stop posting on forums (except Anime ep forums and AWCc related stuff) at least until I felt calm to comment, the same trolls and baiters continue to harass me while they are never banned or warned since they are still there. I don't know but I never felt like that before, maybe I got tired of the same trolls twisting my and everyone words who don't agree into something we never said. Like, I got falsely called a bigot by one the most intolerant, racist and homophobic users in the forums. I really hate when people preach tolerance when they are the most intolerant person when you don't agree with them. I don't know why....but I'm really tired of the same shit over and over and nothing changes considering I got tired of reporting them all of the time. Maybe its time to stop with the distractions and just track the Anime I watch and nothing more here. Thanks for reading.
Not one of my proudest posts as I took the bait and provocation, but if you liked it that's fun! I think we should be able to talk about different demographic targeting in Japanese and American animation industry without being called a fanatic lol
I feel like I'm going to get shot in the head one of these days for sharing this, but here it is, the DesuMaiden response generator, using Google's free AI (Gemini 1.5 Pro 002 is the better model, but only lets you do up to 50 generated responses per day, and Gemini 1.5 Flash 002 lets you generate up to 1500 responses per day, though the Ejrodiew part might not work well with this model, and will need to be removed). And here's the output from this one runthrough (As he always responds more than once to the same thread), specifically for that one thread you mentioned me in...
Just remember to turn off the safety on AI Studio, or else it'll block the responses (For obvious reasons). Yes, it handles Ejrodiew differently from other people, same as the real deal.
I misunderstood your comment, and though I forgot whether or not I agree, I think the context makes sense. My original response was that I did not agree with the assertion that criticism of a single piece of work meant that we believe that the work should not exist. However, criticism of a trend does indicate we believe something ought to change, and it was this attitude regarding the trend of sexualization that you disagreed with. (The person you were responding to was critical of the trend, and you were critical of their position. I am aware that this a very bad summary.)
That person you were responding was alleging a trend in a critical light, and therefore if did makes sense for us to say that they believe such a trend ought not to be.
So I was mistaken and probably made a knee jerk response.
