Tbh, this didn't feel like a finale, or at least the anime finale type of feeling. It was just another episode of competition, party shenanigans, etc

On the bright side, at least that idol girl Agate made one last appearance. That's delightful and the rest of the cast all made appearances again. I just feel underwhelmed by this final episode as it felt like any others really.

It's the finale...and they decide to show us the Survivors's backstory.

Nick has had quite the life: getting his parents killed by bandits, going adventuring together with Uncle Argas in his growing up years to become a full-fledged adventurer, and almost regretting life that was given a second chance, thanks to the idol Agate. In truth, both Nick and Agate need one another to move on, since the very day that they met to lift each other's spirits up. For Zem, after the feud with Nalgava the Stepping Man, being a doctor is his next step, and despite the backlash from before, is content with his work. For Tiana, her gambling is key to her daily way of life. Everyone lived by the same initial three Laws of not trying to pry on their private matters, yet it's this same element that makes them all distant from one another.

With the past all in the back of their minds, everyone moves on, no matter how they're feeling. And regardless, while the fake news propaganda reporter Olivia can be considered a regular on their side, they all help one another, like Curran facing her past of White Heron and Calios again in finding her Dragon King's Jewel. And with unison, they live another day being adventurers who haven't quite conquered the world, to one day, be the humans who will save the world.

This show may suck ass, but I find it to be interesting and atypical as compared to the generic Isekai/fantasy show. Defintely a show I can think of when remembering a show in this un-noteworthy Winter season.

Like most of the last few episodes, this didn’t feel like a finale at all. Felt like a set up for a much larger story. You can tell the story is only just beginning in this series. I think it really needed 24 episodes to get a proper evaluation

The first few episodes were really good, I liked the idea of a group of rejects coming together to redeem themselves and overcome their trauma, but then the story just really fell off and started getting too episodic. The stepping man stuff would’ve been nice if it came right after those mini character arcs/kizuna arrival.

I still had fun with the show though, wasn’t horrible, just could’ve been better.

It was decent overall, liked the characters personalities and their backstories, let's see how their journey continues if S2 comes. It was overall pretty average season.

The final episode is a cooldown episode, but it's not like the previous episode has a climax that need a cooldown moment.
Anyway, I like how Leon get to eat something nice in a jail, my poor little tiger.

This series could have been presented in way better manner. So many things were missing and just became an average show, I would give 5/10 but ed theme was good so 6/10 ✌🏻

Kind of an epilogue ish finale, was an okay way to wrap up the season. This started with some decently good episodes but then it became meh and had some okay episodes in the later half. Olivia was a nice addition to the cast. If it gets s2 hopefully there'll be more of her. Not that it has much hope of that happening.

idk what the heck kind of finale that was, but i do really like the idea and the characters. i just feel like the execution was kind of poor. i hope for a season 2, but only if they can step it up a bit. still, a nice take on the fantasy genre. 6.5/10? i'll give it a 6 i guess.

This truly was one of the anime ever made..

Started off good with a clear potential.. but the poor animation and god awful direction did not helped it one bit..
I would give it that.. The anime tried going for more mature characters and I did find the character interaction somewhat enjoyable.. But without a clear ambition the whole cast fell apart.. Every episode was a random thing for the event to happen..

The last Stepping man arc was somewhat interesting.. but They introduced a villain at last moment and killed him and demanded we feel sad for a character that no one even knows the name of..
Went from 8/10 to 7 to 6..

If there is a season 2 will i watch it? Nah.. Sure it was interesting.. But I would still count it as a waste of my time..

ONE OF THE BEST ENDDING SONG OF THIS SEASON THO..

then again.. its always one of those generic anime that somehow get a banger OP/ED

the show wasn't Horrible tbh. it was just almost painfully average. i agree with the other comments saying this last episode really didn't feel like a finale at all. the idea behind the show is good-a group of rejects coming together to form their own place to belong-but the execution definitely could've been a lot better.

no clue if there's plans for a season 2 or if it'll just be left off here, but if there ever is a season 2 id hope for better story development and presentation. also definitely needs more elements that will really hook the viewers, because if im being honest, there weren't many and because of that i already don't really remember much of what happened in the show.

overall it's textbook example of a middle of the road, 5/10 anime imo. not bad, not great, just kind of there.

This ended up feeling like one long prologue to the beginning of the actual series. I had some hopes for this anime as I liked the synopsis and it started promising enough but it fell flat. The storyline was all over the place and there were some odd episodes such as the one with Nick vs. the Tiger guy with boxing and math (what the hell was that?)

I did like Agate but she also felt out of place (I mean an idol in a fantasy setting? Ok then) Olivia was an interesting character and so was Kizuna and they're both artifacts that can assist humans, kind of cool. Anyways, again this ended up feeling like a prologue but I have no idea if a 2nd season/OVA will happen. I give this a 6/10.

it's incredible how I had no expectations for the final episode and it still managed to disappoint. I had no hope after 11 episodes, but 20 minutes of a sad/bored epilogue just rubs salt into the wound.
the show doesn't need to make me feel that way, it's how I feel about the entire anime already. it was trash. it could have been at least decent.
if it wasn't for the laughably bad art and animation.
if it wasn't for the cookie cutter story with extremely dumb twists
if it wasn't for the characters being insanely boring.
if you want me to feel for the characters, you better make them appealing instead of one note idiots who got taken advantage of.
god this show sucked.

Show started off strong but slowly turned into a heaping pile of average trash. The world and the characters were actually interesting but man that Math battle and that Idol episode ruined this anime for me. Why didn't they develop their backstories a little bit more or idk go on MEANINGFUL adventures. While the last few episodes were okay since the introduced an Antagonist it should have been done...idk maybe in episode 3 or 4?!?!?

This show feels a lot better when it focuses on the characters struggles and the core story like this episode did. If it didn't have so many goofy episodes and poor production value I would think more highly of it, but overall it just felt like a season of wasted potential with this one.

Bit of a boring final episode but it is nice we got to see some more of Nick's backstory.

Disappointing how this show had a promising start and just dropped the ball every episode after around ep3. I really liked Curran's design and the END song was a banger.
But bad overall 4/10.

And so the Survivors reflect on the Stepping Man case and what happened to bring them together as we end the series.

This wasn't bad, but I expected more. I'm not entirely sure what mind you, but....more. Going in to this the premise of cynical adventurers, wronged by society at large, coming together sounded intriguing to me. And the first 2 or 3 episodes held my attention pretty well. But gradually I began to lose interest. To the point that, had the final few minutes not reminded me, I'd have already forgotten plot points like Olivia being a sword revealed as recently as 2 or 3 episodes ago. I'm still gonna be nice and give this a generous 7/10, but I have a feeling this one is gonna lack staying power with me. Unless maybe it gets a season 2 or something, but that seems unlikely.

this was actually good and i enjoyed i'd rate it 7/10 for having an orginal concept and for not having the isekai op bs cliches that cringe me tf out. Its a good new step into isekai. The stepping man shit was when it got boring. They did well with a limited budget cuz ofc there aren't many people who fund theses kinda hit-or-miss anime. I'd love to see a season 2 since it was teased by the narrator at the end hoping we get to see them be humanity's strongest adventurers.

Decent start but went down faster than someone falling down the stairs. Went from enjoying the bad animation and bad attempt at jokes, to just putting it on in the background for some noise. This show was not worth my time, it somehow made the most generic character designs, personalities, and backstories all in a single show. Its a 4/10 I'll forget this in a week.

Good thing this ended.
The idea was good at first, I liked the characters, but sadly after a couple episodes (when that furry tiger guy plot started) it became boring, like, BORING, and dumb, the characters stop being developed, and the animation sucks.
I wanted more, a real threat, but instead whe got an annoying shota sword kid and a long ass plot about a pedo bad guy, instead of our group actually learning to live and work together, and Nick understanding that Agate actually changed his life, but no.
Sorry if my english is bad (っ˘▽˘)っ~~~

A decent episode to end the series, and certainly makes you curious about an eventual second season.

Overall, I would say this series ended disappointing me a little bit after the first few episodes.
Then again, I think this is the kind of story that probably looks better in its original medium (the novels) in which you have the slice of life moments slowly leading up towards the end of the books by introducing/developing characters and dropping clues here and there until the "final fight" versus a big "boss" (dungeon, nick's former girlfriend group, stepping man).
What I liked the most in this series was the characters : how they're pretty unique (do not fit any real cliche role), and certainly far from perfect, and how each has a (relatively) interesting background story that will eventually come into play at some point (looking at summaries for books 4 and 5).

I'll go with a 6/10 for the series as a whole.

Call this ep whatever you want, but for me it was like warm fireplace. Calm, warm and comfy. Started with little static pause after catching Steppingman, but ending with everyone marking it's first step on the new path. And i know im bias, but couldn't stop myself from smiling no Curran part. This hot and tough Dragonlady deserve her justice!

Only sad thing is, there most likely won't be another season Q_Q

Seeing all those characters in the ending was nice, implied that this serie has more than it showed... Too bad it was so much wasted potential. Cool concept and an interesting main cast, but lost its way after 3 or 4 episodes, and the hideous animation didn't help. What a shame.

It was an ok show overall, that was a whole season of getting to know the characters basically, but I honestly enjoyed the character introspection.

I wouldn't mind a second season though, if we finally move on with the plot, which I assume is saving the world. 6/10 Needed more Olivia.

Was the red thing crawling on the ground supposed to be blood in the flashbacks from Nick's childhood? Looked pretty strange 😅

Somehow the action was never at the top of the list, it was more about the characters getting out of their miseries and becoming a team, which was actually pretty nice. You could really start with the story now, the setting would be there.

They whiffed the ending in my opinion but in retrospect how could they have done anything else. A mediocre ending for a mediocre series.

I don't in principle have a problem with all the action taking place in the penultimate episode and the final episode being used to deal with the aftermath and establish an ending for the characters. That especially makes sense if you are expecting another series, although I can't believe this series will get one.

The issue for me was that the episode was just incoherent. I don't know what the point of the flashback to Nick losing his parents was as it didn't connect to anything else in the episode. It wasn't the incident that caused him to lose faith in humanity - that was him getting kicked out of his old guild. I don't know what the point of Agate showing up again was either other than that this was the last episode so it's nice for each character to get some screen time.

It seemed like they wanted to establish that the characters were somewhat regaining their faith in humanity, but as that aspect of their characters has been downplayed so much throughout the series that recovery didn't have much impact. Once the Survivors had formed, their jaded attitudes only really seemed to manifest as a desire to pursue their hobbies individually.

So overall a disappointing finale to a series that never really lived up to the promise of its premise. The ED was an absolute bop though.

I enjoy the ED song and I enjoyed the first few episodes. If i was asked what the story was about... I don't know how to answer. It wasn't as bad as the Evolution season 2 that I drop it, but not as good as Vinland where I can't wait to see the next episode. 6/10 Would skip watching a season 2 if it was made.

It gives me hope that there will be a second season, it also addressed what many people feel like a problem from the last episode it being Nalgava being forgiven by the survivors since Tiana explained that she felt sad about what happened to him but that it ended as it should have, being that he died. Just felt like mentioning that, 9/10 anime for me, really enjoyed it

Ningen Fushin started really well, but I feel in the middle of the season it dropped in quality and action scenes.....also I don´t feel there is a connection in a lot of events in the episodes, it feels somehow slow in some parts and in others super rushed... I really love all the characters so is a shame, if there is a second season I hope it will be better. It needs more emotion and cliffhangers.
