This episode was....weirddddd

I was expecting just a big fight style episode but instead also got sweaty men in awkward fan service.

"I-I'm just trembling with excitement". Yeah right, like the enemy too.
Having battle at the 105th see-through Floor must be pretty exciting. But instead, he go to the 106th Sauna Floorand more after that for having some male-bonding first. OH BOY.

100 minutes in the sauna,
Separate 100 combustible and non-combustible ducks,
100 recitations of Fire Fire Wind spells, and
10km running every single day!!!!!

New ED chibi animation. Yay.

Yeah, This was kind of a weird episode.

Mumei basically trains to obtain the power to control fire along with wind.
Funny how Kou-chan got excited with the Fujo-bait. xD

Now correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the entire purpose of Mumei joining the sschool to save his Dad? Why didn't he do that? XD

I feel like someone, who's important, from the staff of this anime is probaly a fujoshi/fudanshi.

You need mastery of fire and wind to master the shoketsu style, mumei learns fire and the masked man was hsi father :)

What's with all these kind hit and miss episodes? this was another miss for me, feels like just a random person write each episode and "alright lets just go with this".

In the novels, it was his mom who told him that dad's in trouble. He did not see his dad imprisoned onscreen. My theory is that all this is a grand plan by the parents in forcing their kid to become independent and take his training seriously.

The training was pretty bad and it was obvious that his father was the "bad guy"

I see, Well that hasn't been mentioned in the anime so far. I suppose your theory is plausible.

I don't know what has happened to this show.
It was sitting at a 6/10 when we were just getting these testing episodic episodes but now things have just gone into a downward spiral like Taboo Tattoo after episode 3.

So with that I am dropping this show with a 3 out of 10 score.
This show is just garbage and it is really unfortunate with such an interesting plot given in the first episode.

Definitely better than the past couple of episodes, but I wish it would go back to being it's original self.

lol at the sauna scene. Vitamin C drooling.

So it was his dad.

Story over? Nope.

I'd love to mix with sensei.

Yea this show is all over the place.
Mumei at the sauna with dudes all over him, he'l probably never want to enter a sauna with men inside after that.

And in the end the masked man was his dad. Ep 1 he joins to save his dad, ep 8 he finds his dad. I was expecting some type of "I missed you so much dad". Nope, instead, Mumei asks where Vitamin C is, I mean Kou-chan.

So, his "training" was 5 minutes in a sauna, sorting some rubber ducks into 2 boxes and fighting a guy in a tree costume (with the entire fight only consisting of one attack, I believe).

Why the hell is he training for wind and fire crap anyway? He's cheating just fine without it. Why does he need to fight the black haired ponytail guy? There was no explanation for that at all.

Hell, for that matter, if he has these awesome super powers, why does he care about cheating on a stupid test anyway? He could just run around and put on super-powered performances and be a filthy rich celebrity.

Why are they still warning us not to cheat at the beginning of each episode. There's no cheating going on anymore. Just some dork sitting in a sauna and lighting his hands on fire for no good reason.

What the bloody crap is going on with this train wreck of a show???

Even with episodes half the duration of normal episodes this feels like a waste of time!

the dry humor went rampant this episode. Seeing MC's resolve in trying to climb the tower to meet the opponent at the top and being defeated after finding out the tower is really just for show and there's an internal elevator to the top floor. - That made me kek for a little.
