| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Didn't take long for a victim to get bloodied in this OVA. The OVA focused on Shu. Oh God, I just love that voice of his and the music he played during his batshit insane moments in the second half. Glorious. Definitely worth watching if you're a Shu fan. Decent ED song as well. The animation quality was alright, although I liked the previous OVA's quality better. |

| Ugh why do all the faces in Tokyo Ghoul look horrendous? Is it bad that the 10 seconds of Kagune shown in this OVA is better than anything we got in S2? Either way this episode had some great HARMONY and it was nice to see some of Shuu's early years. Masume was a nice touch. |

| Pretty good ova, the insane moments and Shu's mood swings were fun to watch. Miyano did a great job voicing him. 8/10 Manoten said: Is it just me but did Hori Chie seem like she was portrayed more cheerful than her manga and novel versions? I thought so as well, even though I haven't read the novel. Another thing that seemed odd to me is the fact that Matsumae was wearing a maid uniform lol. |

| I really enjoyed this OVA. I loved how Chie was so brave and I'm glad Shuu didn't kill her, I'm hoping she will be in the 3rd season :D |

| Yet again, an OVA managed to be better than the entire season of Root A. Mamoru Miyano's performance during the scenes where Shu was just batshit crazy made me remember exactly why he's one of my favorite VAs. |

| The art quality was certainly a notch down when compared to the Jack ova but it was still adapted decently I guess. A few changes here and there but nothing really major to get worked over. | These Pierrot lads probably can't adapt Tokyo Ghoul properly even if it meant saving their lives. If anything, it still had that slick OST and that epic voice-acting from Miyano Mamoru. |

| Tsukiyama is sort of similar to Izaya in the way he loves humans. I love both of them but Izaya Ftw xD That was an amazing performance from Tsukiyama's VA . Overall the OVA was pretty decent 7/10 |

| Is Chie an important character elsewhere in Tokyo Ghoul or is this her only appearance? The whole thing would seem quite pointless if it is the latter. Like Jack, this was a decent OVA which adds insight into some characters who really needed it. 8/10 |

| Does someone notice that the nurse is Kaya Irimi from Anteiku? Besides that I have to say that I really enjoy that OVA, definitely nothing what I expected and damn again a great performance delivered by Miyano Mamoru, it make me like even more that crazy bastard Tsukiyama. |

| Man the subs were bad. They wrote stuff that wasn't even being said :/ Well I understood what they were saying so meh. Chie's so friggin cute <3 I just love how little shits she gives. Even taking pics when she was being thrown and while falling. Shu and his harmony was great as ever. How I missed what Mamuro does with his character. So much fun. The brutality was amazing too |
