| Ugh, they should have forgotten this episode entirely. An episode dedicated to fanservice is always a drag, and with only 6 episodes in the series, it only makes matters worse. At least Eriko is feeling better about defeating Miu and she's ready to win the tournament! |

| Possibly the best episode of this unfortunate show. There's something about it, how it's directed, that sucks all the potential energy out of it. It's boring when it shouldn't be. The first half of the episode was boring. Once they got onto the beach it was alright, but wasn't the best beach scenes I've ever seen. Meanwhile, back in the USSR (don't know how lucky you are) what's-her-face is trying to research Ruka's background, and goes into a gloomy looking tavern to ask for high protein milk.... I don't know if the translation or the show didn't follow through and have the bartender tell her "we don't have no protein in the motherland, miss" before he can, she's surrounded by the locals who recognize her (don't ask me how) So the show is building up to Ruka vs Erika as the Final Fight. |
