Soundtrack added a new depth to it which made it better than the manga. We also see X Drake be saved too which is what let Law get away since they thought it was him. I don't care what anyone says the Nagi Nagi no Mi (Calm) Fruit is an awesome one |

| Despite reading the manga and knowing what was going to happen, this episode was still extremely sad. Nearly dying on multiple occasions and then having someone who was like a father figure die without being able to do anything. No kid should have to go through that. Finally getting back to present next episode. |

| I swear Oda looks at his manga each day and goes "How much of a messed up backstory can I give this character?" He always seems to outdo himself with each one, and that's not necessarily a compliment. That goes loves giving us the tragic heartbreak feels. |

| That last scene where Law's sobbing can finally be heard was really sad and poetic... it was beautiful and tragic. I loved this episode. They made great use of the soundtrack and it was mostly decently animated. I'm sad the flashback is over... I hope the animation and the pacing will keep being like this. It's gotten better over the past few episodes. Anyway, that was awesome and I love OP bye :v |

| With all the FEELS applied this turned out to be an amazing and emotional ep.............. ;( |
| I cried as much as Law did. Everything was beautifully executed resulting in a tragic masterpiece. The soundtrack, the calm last word of Corazon which totally goes with his calm power/personalty. His pride as a marine, his inability to shoot at his own brother, his will to survive as long as possible to keep protecting Law. And him proving how powerful his devil fruit was. And the best part of all, was the quiet suffering of Law. That just shuttered my heart. Ending it by finally hearing the sobbing, the cries, announcing the death of an amazing man. I LOVED THIS EPISODE |

| Corazon is definitely one of the best side characters in the entire series. Such an amazing guy (T^T)7 Up there with the legendary BAs of OP like WB for me. |

| God, how much more of a fucking badass could they have made Corazon? Some people complain that "nobody ever dies" in One Piece, but they keep introducing these amazing characters that we easily fall in love with only to see die and make us sad they went so soon after they captured our hearts with the small amount of screen time they had. This episode also had one of the best One Piece OSTs, too. How they concealed Law's crying with silence until they could finally be heard after Corazon died was great. |

| One of the most well adapted and said storyline/episode of one piece recently. Previously was the reveal of Sabo but this recent one just did a one up. 6/5! |

| The best episode in quite a long while. The voice acting and the sound direction were lovely and it made it all more heartbreaking. Jut wishing the visuals didn't look like ass but that ship has long sailed for Toei. No puns intended. |

| The new ost at the end was pretty amazing, made the death scene very emotional, overall the anime did solid on this flashback, hopefully it will deliver on the upcoming fights. |

Oda-Sensei is great at storytelling, he always have a plan every character that appears in OnePiece is important (you never know when he or she might appear again in the later chapters also he always leave you hints for upcoming events, etc.) character growth not only good guys even the bad guys have characters growth that means there are not there to be defeated and then disposed (never see them again) like I said he always have a plan for every character, and that is very rare for a long running anime because of that it never loses his steam. I hope he keep doing great...Oda has found a way to justify every fucking lucky break and plot armor: Will of D. |

| I haven't cried in a long time watching an anime. This episode is so sad and has all the right feels even if we already know that Corazon will die. Just can't stop the tears from falling when Corazon said that he will not die yet until Law escaped. And poor Law... i wanna hug him. |
| This episode was so emotional. This is the third death i felt. Whitebeard, Ace and Corazon. Trully OP is getting sad. I just hope Luffy's right hand man shows us his eye and powers. |

| It has been a pleasure to see one of my favorite flashback arcs to see animated. (Beside the Nami and Chopper arcs) Even when you knew what was coming it was still as emotional as heck. |

| Really loved this episode, in all i think this has been one of the best back stories so far. can't wait to see what happens next...i stopped reading just before this flashback so this is all new to me. I can't remember what x-drakes ability is, but sounds like he is pretty strong. EXCITE!!! |

He owns the Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit.  That's not all of his power, I'm sure, he's a weapon user and such. |
