| That kidnapping was way too obvious and came in a really weird timing. But everything else about the episode was great! And I just love Kanade. |

| WTF? Is Suzutsuki a Yuri or something? Also Suzutsuki is really good character to me i would love to see Suzutsuki x Kinjirou but it is rather impossible cause all anime is based about Subaru x Kinjirou |

| Dammit Konoe, why must you be so cute?! >w< This episode was all sooo cheesy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Moral of this episode: Girls are still scary! Next one is looking crazy! xD By the way: did someone else notice Kureha looks just like Akane from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien? Took me this long to notice. ^^ |

| Another fun episode, this show is so entertaining. Even if I already knew what would happen beforehand. And so, in this episode, the anime has caught up with the manga, ch. 5. (Although this episode has already been out a long time, and actually, in the episodes after this, the anime has already long overtaken the manga, as of this post). I am impressed with how close the anime adapted the same events in the manga, again, it's like watching all of chapters 4 and 5 come alive with movement, sound and color. I know that both the anime and the manga are based off the light novels, though, and this happened in the manga, so at least this isn't your typical pool filler anime-original episode. I don't know if it was explained clearly in other subs, but in the manga, during the scene where young Kinjirou has a talk with his father, the phrase "stand by me" is connected to the "Kin" character in Kinjirou's name, that's why his father Jirou was telling Kinjirou to live up to his own name and be able to say "stand by me" to those he should protect. A bit of information about the sheep motif in this show: Sheep in Japanese is "Hitsuji", while Butler is "Shitsuji", hence the wordplay, and the sheep - butler connection with Subaru. |

| I'm gonna make some assumptions here about the light novel. Since you can't see or hear the characters, gender ambiguity probably works a lot better. Also, it feels like there should be more stuff going on between episodes and events. Things are moving quite fast, which is fine for a 12 episode show, but I dunno. First episode had the initial setup and the immediate reveal. Episode 2 had the date, and now we have a "kidnapping" and tearful hug at the end. Of course things go back to the status quo, but still, there's nothing really connecting the points. And yes, I know this is supposed to be a comedy, but if it means anything, I'd like to enjoy Mayo Chiki more, so having things move so fast means less material to watch. It's not bad in any way, but I would like to see it do something more to make it stand out. |

| Damn, Kanade on swimsuit is so bountifulicious! hehe Another sweet moment between Subaru and Kinjirou. It's kinda refreshing how fast they've fallen for each other and there aren't too much violence between them despite Subaru being a tsundere. |
